GTKY: How do you make house chores bearable?

How far along are you? 24 weeks! Can't believe it, really - I remember looking forward to these weeks and just not believing I would be this far along!

How big is baby? Size of a GI Joe or a cantaloupe.

Upcoming appointments this week? I have an appointment next Wednesday for a regular short checkup

Any new symptoms or changes? Still heartburn/reflux issues but have continued to manage them nicely with Zantac. Itchy, dry skin that is magnified by pregnancy - I get horribly dry skin in fall/winter - BioOil has been working well to relieve any lingering itch.

Rants/Raves: I am so excited to put up my holiday decorations next week! DH is Jewish and my family is Catholic so we decorate for both holidays at my house.

GTKY: How do you make house chores bearable? I do a little bit at a time. I like to go to bed with a clean kitchen so that when I leave for work it is not a mess in the morning. So staying up an extra 10 minutes is worth it to me. I also vacuum every Saturday morning no matter what and it makes me feel tidier. My hope is that one day we will get a cleaning lady for once a month - but with our dog and her shedding it would be pointless to pay someone so I just try to keep on top of it. Cleaning is also one of my stress relievers so I feel better in a tidy environment. Also- DH is a complete slob so I feel like I am cleaning all the time - just prep for what is to come I guess! ;-)

Rants/Raves: Rave: a lady at my DH's work offered to give us a crib, glider chair and high chair. We're not that wealthy, so things like this are definitely helpful. Plus, I saw pictures, these are some very nice quality pieces of furniture, doesn't even look used. So thrilled!

GTKY: How do you make house chores bearable: I have to play music to survive chores, I found Pandora has tons of Disney music stations and yes, I jam out to Disney music.

How big is baby? Baby is the size of a grapefruit according to my app.. but hes been measuring big.

Any new symptoms or changes? Getting more irritable lately

Rants/Raves: My job is really overwhelming me, I am irritated/mad all the time...I'm sure that isn't good for the baby.

GTKY: How do you make house chores bearable? Luckily, I have a great husband so he does a lot of it during the day. When I am home, I just throw on some music and get to work.

@lindsey2017 I love the idea of your "tradition" of making sure something is done on a certain day (like vaccuming) or before you go to bed. I think I will incorporate this some how into my life!

How far along are you? 23 Weeks!!!! 17 Weeks To Go

How big is baby? Baby Girl is the Size of a Grapefruit, A Bunch of Grapes, and a Barbie Doll.

Upcoming appointments this week? I joined LA Fitness. I had an appointment with a trainer, who did a total evaluation, he says I am super healthy but I should take it easy. LOL I felt weird being at the gym, with belly in tow. However, my main objective for joining was for the Pool, the AquaFit class Yoga and The Kids Club

Any new symptoms or changes? My legs are so restless at night. And I have been feeling really heavy at night during my bathroom runs.

Rants/Raves: My 37th Birthday is tomorrow!!! Although I am grateful for another year to be here with this great accomplishment of carrying another child (4thTM) however, I am going to miss hitting the club this weekend or taking a few shots tomorrow. (A little Rant)

GTKY: How do you make house chores bearable? I have 3 very willing and able sons who love helping and getting paid for their chores. So it's bearable.

Any new symptoms or changes? found out it's a GIRL on 11/12

Rants/Raves: I can't wait for Thanksgiving! Mainly for the food but also because I don't have to work on Black Friday and I'll be home with my family.

GTKY: How do you make house chores bearable? DH and I do it together. He does the vacumming and the floors, and I do the other cleaning. I try to do it all in the morning when I have high energy. Then the afternoon we can chill! Also - sometimes we tackle things every couple of days...like one day we'll work on the floors, the other days we'll clean the bathroom, etc. It honestly depends on if we have anything going on on the weekends.
