Re: PGAL weekly checkin 11.21.16
33 weeks today! January 9, team blue
I think I crossed the line into being uncomfortable most of the time now. Lots of bicycle crotch and my belly just feels really heavy. I also feel that the phrases "please get off my cervix" and "please get out of my butt" are daily phrases around these parts. But I'm still in good spirits though.
I am starting to have some swelling in my lower legs. Going to watch it for a few days and if it starts to seem more than just normal 3rd trimester swelling I'm going to tell my doctor.
4. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)
I am getting a little more nervous about labor and delivery and especially post partum recovery.
5. When is your next appointment?
Next tuesday for a regular 2 week appointment.
I think I felt Cletus the fetus have hiccups for the first time this morning.
7. Anything else on your mind?
DH and I are on our baby moon and we are having a good time but I wish we could have gone about a month ago. It's just so uncomfortable to walk for any extended period of time but with his schedule that wasn't an option. He is only allowed to take vacation when he isn't considered to "on service" which comes out to be 3 months a year. This was really our only chance to go.
8. GTKY - what's the last movie you watched?
We saw fantastic beasts and where to find them yesterday and I LOVED it.

30+3, Jan. 20 and team blue!
Hormonal still. Lord help me and all these sappy Christmas videos/movies. I might as well not wear eye makeup. HB at night and my nails have gone into the "no more pretty nails for you, we're going to crack! Muwhahaha!" stage. And I'm just tired. I'm having to remove things from my schedule so I can just sit and read. I'm looking very forward to the 4-day Turkey Day weekend. Even with one day of travel/eating/family I'll have three of chilling, putting up the Xmas tree and watching football.
4. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)
Good. I'm more anxious about what all I have to get done before Tucker's arrival. But I'm getting there.
5. When is your next appointment?
Tomorrow
My church is wanting to throw me a shower. I'm very etiquette, 2nd baby no shower type girl, but my BFF/Pastor's wife is like "well, you can't stop me" so I'm trying to decide whether I should just let them have a diaper/wipes shower (which I'll basically return for a gift cards since I do a diaper delivery service, which I can then use for odds and ends stuff I need) or just register at Target for those odds and ends. I feel odd registering though.
7. Anything else on your mind?
DS is into cooking and baking, which I LOVE doing with him. This weekend we made two types of cookies and 4 sticks of butter were involved. They are delicious. His baking and me being preggo could be a bad combo!!
8. GTKY - what's the last movie you watched?
In the theater? Pets, we don't get out much, but I'll be at Rogue One on/day after opening day!!

@AlabamaRedhead plenty of STMs register for the odds and ends just for the completion discount even if they aren't having a second shower. I would register for it, even if you don't share the registry information with you friend throwing the shower.
2. how far along are you? EDD? Team green pink or blue?
33+1, Jan 8th, Team Pink
So uncomfortable. I already feel like I have a toddler inside my body and she is just going to keep getting bigger. I am feeling a pinching near my cervix which is a new and not fun development and she some how is hitting me near the left hip bone and right side of my rib cage at the same time. AND I just plain feel huge- even my maternity tops are cropping up and my belly would be exposed for the world to see if all my pants were full panel.
4. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)
Our anxiety has shifted 95% to the upcoming delivery and child rearing aspect of all of this. I still have moments where I feel like I'm not going to have a baby at the end of this- but it's not an overwhelming feeling. I have been having an extremely average pregnancy with this basically average size baby (she's 55%tile even if she feels like 155%tile most of the time).
5. When is your next appointment?
November 30th- regular OB
We installed the car seat bases and finished up 90% of the nursery. I still have a few things that I want to have done in there but we are basically ready for her. It's a weird feeling to feel 'ready'- like when you go on vacation and can't help thinking you left the oven on.
7. Anything else on your mind?
2.5 more weeks of commuting to work and then 3 days of WFH before I start using my PTO before the end of the year. I should be writing up detailed notes for my back up- but I'm procrastinating.
8. GTKY - what's the last movie you watched?
In theatre we saw War Dogs. I know DH wants to see Rogue One, but I have to get up to go to the bathroom so often that I don't know if it's worth spending the money to see in theater but than again it will probably be one of the last "date nights" we have before she is born.

So L&D pushed back my EDD by one day when I was admitted so I am technically 33+6 today when before Monday used to be my week change. Either way, I am right on the cusp of getting to, or already at, the 34 week milestone which is GREAT!!! Still rocking team green. I'm sort of leaning toward baby being a girl now. No idea why.
4. How are you feeling (anxiety wise) I'm feeling good about 34 weeks! Hoping to make it at least another 2 more
5. When is your next appointment? Wednesday for regular OB. Another NST for Friday.
7. Anything else on your mind?
8. GTKY - what's the last movie you watched? Just saw Finding Dory. I'd like to go see Girl on the Train (if it's still in theaters even??).
2. how far along are you? EDD? Team green pink or blue? 32 weeks today! Team BLUE!
4. How are you feeling (anxiety wise) I (dad to be) have extreme anxiety which will subside once i'm holding the little guy and hear him sing. Wifey hids her anxiety (that's just how she is) but if its bad I know and try and be strong for her. (been a rough few weeks but her father is here from europe so that helps)
5. When is your next appointment? December 2
7. Anything else on your mind? Hope everyone else is doing well here! Congratulations to those in the Birth Announcements!
8. GTKY - what's the last movie you watched? My Big Fat Greek wedding 2!

Pretty good. Tiredness hit hard these last few days with working in her room and going to work. Some aches and such but nothing major.
4. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)
Not bad this week. We had our 3D scan on Tuesday and getting to see that she really is a little human in there really helped.
5. When is your next appointment?
Dec 1 for regular 2 week OB
Raves - 3D ultrasounds! It was amazing to be able to see her look like a real baby. She didn't want to let us see her face. First she has her face practically buried in my hip/side of my uterus. Then, when we coaxed her into moving she covered up her face.... with her FOOT (little booger) Also, we have solidified the name by way of coin flip for spelling: Twyla Kae.
7. Anything else on your mind?
No? Yes? Nothing major - just EVERYTHING seems to be getting closer and at the same time it's so much harder to actually get things done.
8. GTKY - what's the last movie you watched?
We saw Storks in the theater, and got through MOST of the new Star Trek movie on the plane the other day. We are hoping to go see Fantastic Beasts this weekend though!
Getting a bit more uncomfortable. My hip is still killing me and heartburn has reared its ugly head more this week. Been taking zantac since the tums stopped helping. Sitting in my recliner couch is starting to be really uncomfortable so I've taken to sitting on the floor leaning against the couch which then cycles back to my hip
4. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)
Not bad this week.
We write on a tablecloth every year for Thanksgiving though and my husband wanted to write something about being excited and thankful for a healthy baby coming soon and I just couldn't. Felt like I would jinx it.
5. When is your next appointment?
Dec 2 for regular 2 week OB
Everyone wanted to know whether we had picked out a name yet at Thanksgiving and we haven't even talked about it yet.
8. GTKY - what's the last movie you watched?
parts of back to the future yesterday while taking breaks from making Thanksgiving dinner.
