My sister. She lives 5 hours away from us, in the very southeastern corner of WA, and we are in the Seattle area. Usually she arrives the night before thanksgiving and we split most of the cooking up between the two of us. This year, she arrived Tuesday night and has been cooking all day yesterday so that I don't have to. She is also coming back in 13 days for my RCS. She is pretty much the best sister ever, she is also my best friend, and I love her to bits. This is us last year at Thanksgiving:)
Extra thankful for my husband this year. I have been a wreck about 50% of the time since becoming pregnant (moreso after she's been home) and he has been a champ.
I'm thankful DH realized going to his grandparents was not a good idea and set up a small turkey dinner here at home with just his mom. Not having to drive today and hang out in a packed house while everyone else drinks and I try to watch DS is just fabulous.
Thankful for my family and this perfect little girl we get to meet in the coming weeks. And on a lighter note, not having to cook or travel far for Thanksgiving this year.
I'm so thankful for my husband. We are hosting his parents, sister, and her boyfriend tonight. Yesterday I was told my the doctor bed rest as much as possible until Monday due to my BP. With that, DH has been amazing like always. Never complaining once and making sure I'm sitting and resting and pampering me along with cooking and cleaning. He's truly a blessing and I can't wait to see him as a dad because I know he will be amazing.

2.5 years ago we were diagnosed with IF & given a 1/6 chance of ever being able to conceive. This Thanksgiving I'm thankful for my growing family, and the doctors who've helped us along this roller coaster ride.

The first thing I felt thankful for after waking up is my dog. She's my girl. She's so wonderful. She's protective and sweet and motivating and my bff. I'm thankful for this healthy baby on the way. And the fact that by 2017, we'll have our complete family. It feels very warm. I'm thankful for this board. For the counselor I've found recently (thanks for the encouragement to go @dmontgo and others) - he's helped me make years worth of progress in a couple areas in just a few weeks. I'm so grateful to have learned so much in time for it to help my family as well. I'm so thankful for DH, The 9 years we're about to celebrate together have gotten progressively more rich - he boggles my mind. I'm thankful for the garden he grew that fed us all summer and stocked our fridge with some beautiful things and the deer meat he got for us. I'm thankful for our doula who is such a comforting warm and reassuring presence. I'm thankful for our house which is perfect for us and for my job. And my little guy who has the sweetest little heart. I'm so thankful that solar is becoming such an obviously beneficial resource in my area - by every measure. I should not have started writing this on a hormone swing. Caramel Corn!!! OMG. so thankful.
I'm thankful that LO arrived perfectly healthy with an uncomplicated (albeit unexpected) c section, despite being born at 37 + 2. I'm thankful for my DH who did not panic, as we were worried that he might. And I'm thankful for my parents who drove 12 hours on Sunday to be here when we came home from the hospital to help us out.
I'm also thankful for this board and the women who participate. I honestly believe without reading so many personal stories and encouraging advice, having a c section would have thrown me way more off my game than it has. Thanks for helping to prepare me for the unexpected!
I'm thankful first and foremost for a pretty uneventful pregnancy. I think I've been blessed on that front and it's just now starting to get a little hairy as we get within the 3 week mark to delivery.....
I'm also thankful for DH -- neither of us are very emotional/sensitive people but sharing all of the birth announcement pics with him and seeing him smile and brighten up at images of (your) cute babies makes me happy. He'll be a great FTD.
I'm thankful that Sunday is my last day of work and that work has been so supportive. I also have really reasonable disability coverage so I don't need to make the tough decision of bonding with baby and going unpaid.
Thankful for mine and DH's families that are all waiting and ready to come out (they all live 150-3000 miles away) to help us in the first few weeks/months.
Lastly....Thankful for the sugar free pumpkin pie that this GD mama is going to gobble up today
Thankful for my perfect family of 5, my husband who is the secret rock and unsung hero of our family and for a downstairs full of my immediate family as I type this. I'm thankful for my three year old who reminds me every day that the world is still a pretty awesome place if you look at it through the right lens, and my new sweet babies to remind me to slow down and enjoy the last babies I'll ever create.
Thankful for a mild and uneventful pregnancy. Thankful to be back home and near by both mine and FI family. And that both families are so supportive. Thankful to still be able to bake all morning at 36 weeks pregnant. It's something I enjoy but just assumed I would be too uncomfortable to handle this year. Maybe I'll still be up for it on Christmas, too.
I'm thankful for my DH. He has just been amazing, not only during this pregnancy, but the whole 10 years we've been together. I'm thankful for my family and friends. I'm thankful for Squish, because there was a time we weren't sure I'd be able to have kids. Squish is our little miracle. I'm thankful for the smooth, uneventful pregnancy I've had. And I'm thankful for the ladies on this board. There's so much this FTM wasn't prepared for, and you all have always been there with your brutal honesty and advice.
