3.) Rants/ Raves - Looking forward to the holiday with my DH, SD, and parents. Yay for a three day work week! Trying to stay positive and calm about this cycle. I am really trying to tell myself that stress and anxiety aren't going to make it happen.

3. Rant. I have a major one today. My husband had a repeat sperm analysis a couple days ago since we are unexplained and although his sample numbers look good ( they were actually better then last time) his viscosity and liquefecation came back abnormal? . Dr Google says this means his sperm is running thick and moves slowly and is not liquefying in a timely manner, which is confusing since his motility is 70% my RE wrote and said everything looks great. I wrote him back and asked about the abnormal values and he said, just ignore that, the sample looks great.Kind of hard to ignore when it says abnormal. WTF. I am so annoyed. We're both confused, so I'm going to press him for an explanation. Rave- it's a short week
4. GTKY. There are so many good movies out there but I will have to say Goonies is an all time favorite. For the classics I love Gone with the Wind. Another all time favorite is Jerry Maguire. Can't think of any new ones this morning- need some coffee

Sorry about the frustrating answer from your RE. That is annoying. I know different labs use different ranges, so hopefully it is normal on another range and given mobility your RE doesn't think its an issue.

2.) Status - (Benched/ WTO/ TWW) WTO- cd 6.
3.) Rants/ Raves -
Rant- To add insult to injury of my CP, both my older and younger sister are pregnant at the same time. Again. With their second child. And it only took them 2-3 months. It's really getting me down that they have had that connection twice now and all I have in 2 years are two losses.
Rave- I got my day 3 bloodwork back and everything was within normal range. Now it's onto SA for my husband and a HSG for me either this Friday if the lab can fit me in or next cycle in December. I also have a standing order for a CD 21 progesterone check. I finally feel like after all these tests I'll know that there's either something else to do or just keep doing what I'm doing.
4.) GTKY_ What is/are your all-time favorite movie(s)? My all time favorite is Empire Records. I could watch it all day every day.
2) Status - WTO, CD9
3) Kind of a sad rave - We had to put one of my parents' dogs down this weekend. He was only 12 but he had a degenerative disease and you could tell that he was letting us know it was time to go. The vet who did it is my parents' neighbor and she came to the house Saturday night and did it there, with all of us around him in the place he felt most loved and comfortable. She asked if she could say goodbye to him first, and she told him that he was so loved and to have a safe journey. And she cried with us. It was just a very beautiful thing in the middle of so much sadness and I am so, so grateful for her.
4) All time fav movie - The Thin Man, an oldie but SUCH a goodie.
3.) Rants/ Raves - My Christmas tree is up! Now to just finish the rest of the decorating. I didn't know how Christmas decorating would go - if I'd be happy or just focus on what should have been (aka, a two month old baby to celebrate Thanksgiving with), but so far, I am trying to stay positive and in the moment.
Plus, I had a very nice "surprise" 30th birthday party this weekend, and it was so wonderful to see friends and family. Plus, H took Friday off and cleaned the entire house which freed up my entire weekend.
4.) GTKY_ What is/are your all-time favorite movie(s)? Hard to pick just one! I love Walk the Line and Sound of Music!
@szwill86 Again so sorry to see you back here so soon. That does suck with your sisters, but I am glad you're doing some testing and hopefully you'll get some answers!

3.) Rants/ Raves - Raves is that it is a 3 day work week. Rant is that I am going to be super busy through the the whole 4 day weekend. DH sprung his friends babies baptism on me over this last weekend. Not sure I want to go to the baptism, still have a hard time with seeing newborns. Kinda hoping I will get a BFP prior to Sunday but not going to hold my breath on that.
4.) GTKY_ What is/are your all-time favorite movie(s)?
As for new ones, I like Central Intelligence, The Boss, and the Hunger Games series.
There are so many other great movies that it is hard for me to come up with older ones off the top of my head.

4.) GTKY_ What is/are your all-time favorite movie(s)? Love the 80s movies pretty in pink, some kind of wonderful, breakfast club etc
2. TWW, around 11-12DPO, but I only have one test so I'm waiting for Wed to use it.
3. Rave-Have 2 flights from Portland to San Antonio Friday morning and been working a lot of weekends, so I didn't pass up and offer bump to 1st class. So excited! Got so spoiled before being a Delta Medallion. And if I have a negative test, it'll be Bacardi and OJ alllllllllll the waaaaaaay to Saaan Antoooooonio
4. To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything, Julie Newmar. I love that movie and quote it all the time. I could also watch The Way and Steel Magnolias every day and never get tired of it. I can literally feel my body relaxing just watching them.
Hope everyone has a great (and short!) week

New to posting on TTCAL. I've been on the TTGP and May 2017 boards but just got AF so we are now officially trying to conceive our first after our first loss.
2.) Status - (Benched/ WTO/ TWW)
WTO -- only CD3 so I'm impatiently waiting.
3.) Rants/ Raves -
Rant: Having some concerns about trying to conceive so soon. I'm wondering if we should give it some time to let my body get back to normal and focus on being healthier but I also don't want to wait... it's complicated. H wants to try again right away.
Rave: I love the holidays! I'm excited for spending Thanksgiving with my family and eating lots of pie
4.) GTKY_ What is/are your all-time favorite movie(s)?
Since it's the holidays, I'm going with The Family Stone. I'm obsessed, I make H watch it with me every year.
@szwill86 That's got to be tough with both your sisters being pregnant (again). Do they know about your losses? One of my huge fears is that both SILs and my sister will get pregnant and we won't be able to (we all recently got married) and I won't be able to feel happy for them (awful, I know). I really hope you get your BFP and healthy pregnancy soon.
@migdala Aw, sorry about your dog but what a sweet way to say goodbye.

@szwill86- Im glad you are hanging in there after your CP and that everything is back in normal range. Im sorry about your sisters being pg at the same time. It happened to me with 2 of my friends and your right it does add insult to injury. Its like you are left out of a club you desperately want to join.
@migdala - so sorry again about your family dog. So glad you were able to do it at home though - that is very nice.
@laberge3 - I wasn't sure how the holidays would go this year either ( my EDD was 10/1) but so far Im doing good and Im hoping to just keep riding that out. Happy belated birthday! Im glad you had a fun "suprise" party. Just a clean house would be a great present for me! LOL
AFM
1.) MMC in March and another one in August.
2.) CD 12 - expecting to O this weekend.
3.) Rave - DH and I work opposite shifts so we never really see each other during the week. So usually when we BD during FW one of has to wake the other up ( romantic right?). This week with the holiday and DH working 2 overnight shifts instead we have 7 days in a row that we will be home (for at least part of the day) together. Im hoping this will help our timing, increase our odds and at least making HIO more enjoyable. lol
Rant- A little worried about Thanksgiving and seeing all my cousins with their kids ( everyone has 2 kids - perfect little families) and also fielding questions about when we are going to have kids. Just hoping everything goes okay and I dont get upset and can enjoy the holiday.
4.) My absolute favorite movie of all time is Gone with the Wind. We are getting a puppy in a few weeks that we are going to name Scarlett.
2. Completely unsure where we stand at this point. See rants.
3. Rave. Our RE appointment went well last week. I've gotten "excellent care and testing" from my OB, PCP, and Endo, so there is no more testing to do. My RE is convinced we just had horrible luck both times and maybe I'm just "super" fertile that my body implants even bad eggs, since getting pregnant hasn't been the problem for us. Not sure how to take that one. Anyway, she's willing to manage my early care once we're pregnant again: betas, progesterone, and early ultrasound at 6 weeks. I think I may do it just for that ultrasound. She's fine with aspirin and methylated folate PNVs (because they "can't hurt"), and recommended I take Vitamin D too. Other than that, she doesn't recommend anything else.
Rant. Last week DH said he wasn't sure if he'd be ready to TTC this month (this week, basically) because of some other shitty things going on in our life and the fact that this month marks when we conceived our first doomed pregnancy and he's superstitious. Even though a couple months ago he was "totally ready and just waiting for me to be ready". He said he'd "let me know" this week if he gets ready in time to TTC. And granted, 2016 HAS been the worst year of our lives (not exaggerating), and it feels like we're watching everything and everyone we love fall apart around us.
He got mad that I was disappointed and confused, but I honestly can't follow his logic. He wanted to basically make the decision last minute this week because he "needed time to be ready", but when I said I can't be that spontaneous with this and suggested waiting until next month, he said he didn't want to because "what if something else shitty happens that makes me want to not TTC next month either?". And then he got upset when I was asked how he'd respond if we did TTC this month, get pregnant, and THEN something else shitty happens. Because "once the decision is made he won't regret it". Confused, that is what I am. In my mind, he's either ready or he's not, regardless of what may happen. In his mind, he can go back and forth between being ready or not as long as I'm not pregnant, but once it happens, then he'll be fine. We still have more talking to do, but I'm confused and a little angry. More so because after this fight last week, this weekend he asked "should I get a condom?" before we had sex. Yes, yes you should H. We did not resolve anything last week, and that was totally not the time to continue the conversation.
4. So many good movies here! I currently love the Marvel movies, and HP is fantastic. From when I was a kid, I love While You Were Sleeping and the Goonies.
@laeberge3 yay for the tree being up! That's my goal this coming weekend after Thanksgiving.
@stephann85 short work weeks are the best but always feel longer to me than a full week.
@mack2342 22 in laws?? Good luck to you! Hopefully you're not doing ALL the cooking...
@amberruka look at you, all swanky in your first class upgrade. You deserve it! Safe travels.
@oliveoil I love pie, too. Any and all- I don't discriminate! And yes, my sisters know (my one helped with my delivery in May bc she's a L&D nurse) and are understanding, but they have no idea what it's like bc both have had healthy pregnancies and no previous losses.
@tscalei that's a good way to put it about a club that you want to be part of. It just makes me feel like such an outsider. But yay for so much time for you and your other half! Hope you have some things planned for just you two besides HIO
@riversong15 hearing that it's just "horrible luck" stinks to hear. You almost wish that there was something that came up so you could blame it on that, as horrible as it sounds. Hopefully things start looking up for you and DH in the rest of 2016 and on.
@TScalei Yay for matching schedules with DH - enjoy! I hope Thanksgiving goes well for you, too.

@migdala I am so sorry about your parent's dog. It is so heartbreaking to let go of a fur baby. The vet sounds amazing though. What a blessing for her to do that at your parents house so you all can grieve at home.
@laeberge3 I'm jealous. I can't wait to decorate this weekend. I'm glad you had a nice surprise birthday party. Kudos to DH for cleaning. Win!
@stephann85 Ugh! I'm sorry about the baptism. I have a hard time being around babies. It just hurts so much.
@amberruka First class sounds like a great way to travel to TX. FX for Wednesday. I'll be thinking about you.
@oliveoil Welcome to the board. Sorry you find yourself here. I am sorry for your loss and hope your stay here is short.
@TScalei FX for better timing this cycle. I can't imagine how difficult it is with opposite schedules.
@RiverSong15 I am so sorry about the conflict with DH. I understand what you are going through. DH and I were going to start trying after we got married last October. December was an accident (ended in CP, but he was excited), so I thought we would try in January. Instead DH avoided me like the plague around O time and kept picking fights with me. He finally told me in February that he did want to try. He kept avoiding me around O; and it wasn't brought up again until June and we finally tried in July. It was hurtful, heartbreaking, frustrating, and I'm sure everything you are already feeling. Feel free to PM if you want. Hugs.

@amberruka Good luck for WED. Hope you'll only be drinking oj!
@migdala Putting my dog down in April was so difficult. I love my dogs more than I can explain. Perfect therapy after a loss and ttc again.
@RiverSong15 Sorry about the situation with ttcal and your DH. I hope you have time to sit down and talk about things. (My husbands hates talking about feelings.) Actually My DH said that he didn't want to ttc again until next year. He finally admitted that he didn't want to have to see me so sad and detached for months again if we lost another one. I guess I had never looked at myself from his perspective. It is so hard on them because they lost a baby and their wives for a little while. I hope you resolve things. I know how sad it can make you feel when you think nothing is going your way.

Rave into Rant- Going to Florida on Thursday. It's in the 40's here in CT so I can't wait to get into the sun. My DH and I need to get away from everyone for a while. His mother won't respect my privacy to just be left alone. She doesn't understand that not everyone likes to talk about their feelings. I am more of a suffer in silence kind of girl.

@NewMommyCoop I just watched the great sperm race based on recommendations from this group and I found it quite informative and enjoyed it.
@amberruka Hooray for first class!!!
@TScalei Routinely I don't see DH for days because I work nights. Many people, other than my coworkers, get really confused when I say I haven't seen DH in days. It makes HIO a little tricky at times.
1.) New-ish, MC in July 2016, TTC since.
2.) WTO, CD 9. Cycles have been all over the place since MC but hopefully will O sometime around CD 15. Temping is not an option due to my insane sleep schedule so I rely on CM and OPK's.
3.) Rant: My unit increased the number of nurses we need to have scheduled to work during the holidays so I have to work Wednesday and Thursday night. Typically I can manage to get one of those nights off due to seniority. Trying to not let it affect me but it has me in a bad mood. Was hoping our census would be low so they could give additional nurses the night off but doesn't look like that will happen. Rave- My sister decided to do thanksgiving on Friday this year so I will get to have a Thanksgiving, just on the wrong day. Holiday pay is also nice.

3) Rave - DH and I are hosting Thanksgiving for the first time ever in our new house and I'm so excited about it! I love entertaining! Rave 2 - I had 24 girls show up for my first bball practice last night and when I first got the job the administration said I would struggle to get kids. So 24 is a great #!
Rant - 2 weeks ago my pup cracked his toe nail all the way down to the base. I took him to the vet and they wanted to charge me $700 to remove it..$700!?!? Financially we couldn't swing that so we've been doing everything we can to keep it clean and stop him from irritating it but he's been pretty miserable

3.) Rants/ Raves -
I had my first acupuncture appointment yesterday and I felt so relaxed at the end. What's weird was I can home and took a nap and when I woke up I was feeling extremely sad and down. Not sure if it's because going was like admiring that we are having trouble TTC or if I'm just used to being stressed and being relaxed made me feel weird. I have a headache that I woke up with and a bloody nose. Thinking maybe it's from havingnour heat running? Hoping it's not related to the acupuncture. I'm supposed to go back tomorrow and will run it by my acupuncturist.
4.) GTKY_ What is/are your all-time favorite movie(s)?
Harry Potter! And just about every Christmas movie out there. I'm like the girl version of Clark Grizwald.
I did read everyone's posts but I'm in my car waiting for my all day meeting to start and can't mobile tag folks.
@moofish2364 I'm glad you had a good acupuncture experience. I've been toying with the idea of going since some local places are covered by my insurance, but I think I'm going to wait until after the holiday craziness.
@SoonToBeMommaHowe Aww your poor pup! My dream is to host Thanksgiving one day (when we finally have a house), good luck! Hope it goes great!
@MooFish2364 I don't know much about acupuncture but a friend of mine had it done for back problems and I remember she said she felt really crappy the next day (maybe from bad toxins being released? I don't know!) but the next time, she felt fine afterward. Good luck with your second appointment!

@newmommycoop - GL hosting Thanksgiving - Im sure everything will go great! Hope your pup feels better soon - $700 is ridiculous! We are getting our first puppy in a few weeks and Im a little worried about future vet bills. I have enough copays with all my stuff! lol
@Moofish2364 - Im glad acupuncture went well. I love all the Harry Potter movies - they are just so magical and a great escape. They really capture the books too.
@SierraFoxtrot Sorry you have to work on the holiday. Hopefully it will be a slow night and somebody brings in goodies for the staff
@SoonToBeMommaHowe Poor baby. I hope it heals quickly.
I guess this is a rant and a rave. My SDs mother was supposed to spend time with her this week and canceled on her. She hasn't seen her mom in about 6 months. Rant because I feel so bad for SD; even though she is used to it, I know her feelings are hurt. Rave because we get SD over the holiday weekend, and I don't have to deal with all the drama that is her mother.
