not particularly. just so tired of being pregnant.
Down to the final week before we clear the weeks threshold to give birth in our preferred hospital! Yay! they really only take people at 36+ because they don't have more than the basic care nursery.

Travel ban for me starts this week, so we are at home, just the 2 of us. my mom is coming out the following weekend for our open house shower, so I told her not to drive out two weekends in a row (they live 3 hours away). I will be online black Friday shopping only!! ;-)

So, I cultured positive for GBS, got that result yesterday. Little nervous about that, I really didn't want to be on an IV but I guess that's better than something seriously going wrong. Anyone else GBS+?
I also got put on bed rest this week, got diagnosed with pregnancy related positional vertigo. For anyone who doesn't know what that means, I retained extra water in my inner ear, and it threw me off balance, causing dizziness and spots across my vision. I can't even walk the mall without feeling like I'm gunna faint. How am I supposed to Christmas shop now???
Final rant, I got a chest cold so bad I feel like I need to be on nebulizer treatments because between the baby being in my ribs, and all this mucus I feel like someone just took my lungs out

This year were starting a new thanksgiving tradition this year, and are ordering our feast from either Boston market or Bob Evans. Should be interesting.

I feel like we're in limbo with Thanksgiving this year, pending baby girl's arrival. We usually split the festivities between my family's dinner at my parents' house and then go to DH's family's for dessert. They keep the party going much later than my family does

37 weeks!
I have my 37 week appointment on Tuesday. Should be a normal cervix, weight, and heartbeat check.
Every day I think this may "be the day" even though I have no signs of labor other than some Braxton Hicks contractions. Much like all of you, I am sick of waiting.

Every year we go over to my moms house. I am in charge of rolls, green beans, and my "cranberry crack" appetizer. I will not attend black Friday shopping but I am going to be searching the Internet for a good Dyson deal!

DH made the decision for me to not go to his grandparents as per usual, because its like 18 people plus kids and no place to sit and I get overwhelmed quite easily. So his mom is coming over here. He managed to find a local turkey on short notice and I bought all the stuff for sides today, so it should be low key. I will not go to stores for Black Friday this year, but I am totally going to go online for deals. We need a dishwasher, so hopefully we can find one on sale!

Yes, started weekly appts last week, I've got another on Wednesday. I didn't realize what terrible timing this was when I made the appointment a few months ago!
I am hoping to make progress with the nursery this week now that one of the beds will be taken out tomorrow morning.

Thursday will be a big traditional thanksgiving at my moms. Friday will be our Mexican thanksgiving at my house, all of my in laws will be here. It's great, but I wish it could be somewhere else this year.
I brave Kohls every year for Black Friday, there is an isolated location in my town that doesn't get too crazy. I need comfy clothes that fit for post c-section!

Appointment on Monday. Unsure if they'll schedule my next for one or two weeks after. Excited for my growth US, which they typically do at 36 weeks.
Symptoms have seemed to plateau. Bracing myself for those final month agonies, remember it being tough with DD.
DD has seemed to have fully transformed from a sweet baby to a toddler terror. What gives?
Excited that Thanksgiving will be small, at home. No more than 6 people. Surf and turf. Very non traditional this year. Only black Friday will be diaper junction, Sephora, and Amazon. Online
So ready for something to happen!! This baby still hasn't dropped yet and I really don't wanna think about spending two more weeks not being able to breathe like this. My ribs are dying.

dinner w my family early in the day then dinner with hubs family later in the evening. I'm already irritated w everyone's comments/opinions on this pregnancy and when he's going to come so not sure I'm looking forward to it or not. Black Friday is a no go for me, I don't even participate while not pregnant, this year would be just miserable so no thanks! Though I do look forward to cyber Monday sales!
@mforinger nothing seems to help my swelling either! Even when I sleep, I'm still swollen. Which is not how it was with my 2 DDs! With them, my swelling went down every night. Apparently DS didn't get that memo...
We had maternity pictures done (for free!!) yesterday and I am in love with the sneak peek she sent me!!

Spaghetti squash, Ukulele, Pomeranian. Hilarious. I don't think any of those things are even close to size...Little dude was 6lb, 1oz and in the 40th percentile on the 11th.
Had an appointment on Friday and was 2.5cm dilated and 80-90% effaced. That was up from 1cm dilated the week before. Next appointment is the 28th, unless I go into labor before then...
Lots of BHs. Some minor back soreness, though not sure if that's related to contractions or if I just overdid it.
What the hell does it feel like to go into labor?! Also--we went out with my work team Friday night and everyone kept saying, "You'll be fine!" as if they're trying to convince me of something that I never expressed concern over, so that was pretty freaking annoying.

We were supposed to go to my in-laws 2.5 hours away, but doc doesn't think that's a good idea. So we're going to my parents' house, which I'm pretty happy about. I'm in charge of green beans and dinner rolls and found the recipes I'm using today, so I'm excited. I never do the black Friday shopping thing. I much prefer online shopping...the crowds, lines, and overall mess people make in stores just bugs me. A new Premium Outlet just opened not 5 minutes from my house, so I plan to stay as far away from that as possible.
