today is football day.. tomorrow we are running errands and stopping by the mall to see if we can get a picture with Santa without DS flipping out haha should be interesting. Oh and mama is getting some bras to bring the poor girls some relief lol.
Working both today & tomorrow - fun stuff haha.... Trying to complete some homework also when not working. Excited that the end of the semester is in sight! DH & I will go out to dinner tonight so I'm looking forward to that! I planned on straightening/styling my hair this morning before work but I let the Bump consume my morning prep time lol
Heading to a ladies breakfast at church this am while DD naps at home with DH. Then DD and I are meeting my sister and mom in the city half way from their home for some craft fair and boutique Christmas shopping! Hoping to get started on all the random little gifts I need for the hard to buy for ppl--brothers girlfriends, rich aunts, etc
Tomorrow, after church, trying to get together with a best friend who is in nursing school and working full time so we never see each-other anymore. Friendships are hard!! Especially when we live such different lives---I can't fully understand her life as a single with ALL married friends, and she doesn't get mine as a pregnant SAHM of a toddler.... but we try!
Tyring to relax a little this weekend before I have to go back to working everyother weekend. Also going shopping to get ready for Thanksgiving which seemed to just pop out out of nowhere. The days are going by so fast its hard to keep track.
Very low key this weekend - taking my son to swimming lessons today and other than that no plans. I have some grading to do and some other paperwork that needs to be done, but it will be a weekend of time with my boy, watching football and relaxing on the couch.
I attended a sip and shop fundraiser last night with the intention of holiday shopping, but only bought for myself. . Today I am hosting my cousin's baby shower and running errands. Tomorrow we have a dedication (non-denominational christening.) I don't know how I'll survive this weekend. I'm already pooped!
Husband is out helping his parents move and I am at home with my very favourite pup working on some assignments for my course. I am of course watching the Food Network and browsing The Bump, while working. Tonight, we are meeting up with some of our friends who are down in town for an Adoption Workshop. I think it has been really hard for them to see us now especially because they are struggling so hard with infertility and we are pregnant. It truly breaks my heart. I only want the best for them and wish that their little miracle would happen too. Sunday, more school work and then dinner with the parental units. I am hoping to also squeeze in some decluttering this weekend. I have alot of clothes and would love to donate to good will.
Today is cleaning, getting some stuff done around the house, eye exam, doing some weekend catch up by working from home, then heading to babies r us to register after dinner!
Tomorrow will be church, yard clean up, and more working from home.
Boss better be happy that I'm willing to work during my free time to get some of this crap done for her.
Housewarming party today and maybe a Target trip (if I can convince myself not to spend ALL our money). MIL is going to be here tomorrow all day so I should probably clean...

Cleaning before the holiday! We are hosting our in-laws the weekend after Thanksgiving. This uabig deal because they ALWAYS expect us to come to visit them even though my fil is retired and mil is close to retirng with a ridiculous amount if leave every year. Neither have health problems year make car trips uncomfortable. And the fact that travelling with a baby/toddler is way harder than if they we're just to travel themselves. Seriously my fil hasn't been to visit us in two years.
We live 2 hours away.
Anyway I am cleaning the bejesus out of My house. We are even letting them sleep in the matter bedroom to try to encourage them to visit more, lol. So when I say cleaning everything I mean every closet, drain, and cupboard!
And drinking egg nog and listening to Christmas music because why not? Christmas is 5 weeks away!!!!!!!!
Eta Also a Flip or Fllp marathon in hgtv apparently.
Doing some grocery shopping for Thanksgiving so I don't wait until the last minute and get stuff the Wednesday before. Also need to get the toddler some pajama pants since most of his are at his ankles. They truly grow way too fast!
Grocery shopping last night, we are hosting my DH's family for Thanksgiving (my family being Canadian and his being American really works out well for Thanksgiving! Never have to worry about who to spend this holiday with).
Family Stroller strides work out this morning, then we went to destination maternity so I could try on sweaters. I want to have some clothes to wear over the holidays that I feel decent in, so I bought two sweaters and a dress, I feel better already
Tomorrow DH offered to work, so DD and I will be brunching with friends then probably cleaning/baking.
@longliveregina cleaning hurts my back too! and vacuuming always gives me RLP...too bad I have to do it just about every day thanks to the dog lol... I always find that no matter how good my intentions are, the real cleaning doesn't happen until the day before guests arrive! lol at least when pregnant
I managed to get myself a 3 day weekend, so Friday I mostly just hung out at home with my toddler, and made a few phone calls I'd been putting off (getting DD signed up for dance class, paying some bills, and rescheduling a couple of appointments). Today we got the tree decorated, which DD loved, however all the ornaments she put on ended up being on about branches, so once she is actually asleep I'll go rearrange them. Tomorrow we planned on church and Sunday dinner with my family. Unfortunately, DD's eye has been a little goopy over the past few days, and tonight it is pink and puffy too so I am giving up all hope that it is just part of her cold, and am thinking it is the dreaded pink eye. If it's still bad tomorrow we will be staying home and keeping the germs to ourselves. I am just hoping she is well enough for daycare Monday and Tuesday, because we are already down 2 other teachers this week, and finding someone who wants to watch a kid with gunk coming out of their eyeballs is a tough job.
Nothing too exciting here but a few highlights. Today was mostly football with a fun girls lunch with some other pregnant friends. Tomorrow is packing and getting ready to head to the inlaws and a Nutcracker remix by a local ballet company that I'm pretty excited about. Overall relaxing with hubby and some fun girl time!
