DH and I are going to the Sacramento Kings game tonight. We are playing the Clippers, so we will most likely lose, but it will be our first time at their new arena. Saturday I'm taking DS to a friend's daughter's birthday party and then going to visit another friends new home that she and her fiancé bought. I've got no plans for Sunday, so I will probably clean and go grocery shopping (maybe).
I'm hoping DH will make more progress with painting the nursery. He's got one coat on, but he needs another coat on there, plus he needs to redo the ceiling that he messed up on.
We're not doing much, just going out for some BBQ on Sunday since my uncle will be in town. Kudos to you and your husband painting the nursery. We haven't done anything!!! With our first, we prepared and had everything ready. This time around....we're just lazy!
I know it's "early" but I'm Christmas decorating!! I worked in retail for 10 years of my life, so I feel like I'm getting them put up crazy late. I'm soooooooooooooooooooooo excited!
My sister and her girls are coming to visit. I haven't even began to clean up my house. She should be here in an hour an a half and I need to start picking up and have supper (which I don't know what I'm making) cooked.
My mom is coming to stay the night tonight. Never been so glad to have to work on Saturday morning. Then Saturday night we are going to dinner at DHs friends farm. DS is so excited about seeing the animals. He's been cock-a-doodle-dooing all week. I'm just excited there will be smores.
Not much planned but definitely things I would love to get done. Desperately need to do the normal household catch-up stuff - laundry, bathrooms need cleaned desperately, vacuuming, etc. Need to figure out what food I am taking to my family Thanksgiving and hopefully go grocery shopping for it. Definitely see a nap in there somewhere.
I would love to also start going through my boy stuff and thinning it out since we have for sure confirmation there's a little girl in there! Plus I need to sort through all the clothes we've been given for her.
@shaunessa I never had a nursery for DS (and hated it), so I'm super excited to have the space for one for this baby. I've been super proactive at making DH active! HAHAHAHA! Although I did do the work to clean out the room, so that DH could paint. I can't wait until the painting is done and the furniture is set up so I can just go sit in there and relax and think about baby coming.
We got our first snow today so it is miserable out! Super windy. So movie night tonight. Hopefully picking out paint for the nursery, getting laundry done, and maybe hanging with friends through the rest of the weekend.
Coffee with a friend tonight. Tomorrow I have an appointment to get hair and eyebrows done. Gotta look good in those family pictures. Then I NEED to give in and buy pants because mine don't fit me anymore for sure. Sunday church. And I need to figure out what I'm taking to family thanksgiving too.
Tonight I'm relaxing at home watching cartoons with my sick little girl.. tomorrow my MIL is watching her and me and husband are going out to a really good hibachi with some friends.. Sunday I have to work a few hours at night but hoping to maybe do some shopping in the day
Patching some small holes in the walls and painting. I'm also planning on purging everything we don't need. Our town home is 1400 square feet and we're going to have 3 kids as of April...so I'm nesting now lol!
Tomorrow we are getting up early and making a trip to ikea for a new bed frame. Fx it helps us sleep better! Then we are picking up DS on the way home and going to a holiday light walk in the evening. Sunday will just be me and DS hanging out while H is at work and I will be cleaning house and studying. Nothing too crazy here

@MWoodside sorry about your coworker. Was is someone you were close to?
I'm probably going to go in to school tomorrow to get lesson plans for the next week done. I was at a training for 3 days this week so I had zero prep time and am feeling behind. I know if I don't do it tomorrow, I won't work at all over break and then be screwed.
Otherwise, I'm halfway through a new family table I'm building and I really hope to finish it so we can share our Thanksgiving meal on it! I just haven't had the energy to work on it in the evenings.

We are leaving town for a week for Thanksgiving/Christmas with my family. My mom will be in Hawaii (for work for 4 months) over Christmas, so we won't be seeing my family then. So, we are doing a Thanksgiving/Christmas combo and then my mom leaves next Saturday, so sort of a saying goodbye visit as well. I am super depressed over the whole thing (her leaving). DH has the whole week off. So, tomorrow will be a 4 hour drive with a couple of stops, making it probably about a 5 hour trip up north. And then Sunday is a family gathering with my dad's family. My grandma has been in and out of the hospital for the last month with some serious stuff. So, it will be good to see her. Kind of weird to think that there is the possibility it is for the last time. I mean, who knows. But, like I said, she has some pretty serious problems. It will probably be a bittersweet day.

I went to a Margarita Ball last night. It's a fundraiser that provides toys for needy children at Christmas. My fiancé hated galas so I took my friend.
Today I'm going to put up Christmas decorations. And have a Friendsgiving to go to
Im on the left, and feel like I did a decent job hiding the bump last night
I'll be out taking my rifle for a walk in the woods...hopefully with the end result of putting some venison or elk in the freezer for the next year. More than likely the only thing I'll get is exercise and quality time with DH.
@cafedisco, thanks. I've worked at my place of employment for just shy of 15 years and he worked there over 30 so were weren't BFFs or anything, but we were friends. He was my mentor for a leadership development program early in my career. It's a sad story. He was dx with lung cancer in Feb 2016 (never a smoker, no family members smoked) and he died in the wee hours of 11/9/16. Very quick demise. I am sad for his wife and 3 girls. He was only 54.
I went into work this morning for a few hours hoping I would make a dent in my case load - I didn't really. I'm going to be out of the office for the next four weeks for the holiday and then trainings so I'm trying not to bury myself in work when I get back.
Aside de from that, I think we are going to do chores today and leave tomorrow for "fun stuff".
No no real plans this week but I'm already getting tired thinking about next week.
I completed and submitted my last assignment for this course this morning, then I worked 12-630, and when I get home from work I have a bunch of housework to do...tomorrow morning church then work 12-630 again and then after work maybe watch a Christmas movie with DD and DH...nothing too fancy

Still at work currently. Tomorrow I have to work all day, then go to a celebration of life event for a coworker who died last week.
Sunday we go to church, then straight to my niece's birthday party.
Im tired just thinking about it.

We're cleaning our house frantically at the last minute because that's how we roll. MIL arrives tomorrow and FIL on Thanksgiving.
