How are your numbers? They were pretty good this week, a few spikes here and there but overall, my OB is pretty pleased and said that she wished all of her patients took the GD as seriously as I do and controlled their diet better. She might not have totally meant it but it made me feel good.
How far along are you? 35+5
What do you do for a living? I analyze Congress and work in politics. I'm so happy the election is over.
If you could switch jobs/careers would you and what would you do instead? I would be party planner. I love to plan out a good party down to the smallest detail. I'm a detail oriented person and have a hard time seeing the forest through the trees
Any rants, raves, questions? Rant- y'all I know I shouldn't feel this way- but I'm so over this diet. I know it's best for LO for me to continue to watch my carbs but all I want is a large cupcake, birthday cake or something else piled with buttercream icing. And pizza, wine, beer, chocolate and a doughnut from Dunkin Donuts. I keep telling myself I'm almost there just to stick it out a few more weeks (I'm being induced at 38 weeks), but it's so hard to not break the rules.
Favorite Actor/Actress? I honestly don't have a "favorite" but I think there are many in Hollywood who are extremely talented and some who aren't.... There are very few that I dislike.
What do you think of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson getting People's Sexiest Man Alive? I think it's fun when someone new is on the cover- if I'm not mistaken, this is his first time, so yay for him. I think he's attractive but to me, there are others that are more attractive but I love his attitude about it all the best.
How are your numbers? Finally great! This last med adjustment seems to have done the trick for now. So glad I don't have to do insulin shots. Still have to stick to my diet of course. I feel really good with it controlled, I'm thinking most of the feeling awful was from the GD.
How far along are you? 36 weeks tomorrow!
What do you do for a living? I administer pensions, so exciting.
If you could switch jobs/careers would you and what would you do? I would be a vet for sure, that was always my dream.
Any rants, raves, questions? Last day at work is Friday before I start vacation then maternity leave. Can't wait!

What do you think of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson getting People's Sexiest Man Alive? I'm not sure he's the sexiest man alive but he is certainly sexy on the cover! He's seems like a genuinely good person too, which is rare in show biz.
How are your numbers? Either awesome or horrible. I made a ham the other night and since then my numbers have been fantastic. Of course, ham has a ridiculous amount of sodium, so I probably shouldn't be eating a whole lot of it... .sigh.

Any rants, raves, questions? Told today that baby's weight was low for his gestational age and I have to start doing weekly BPPs, and if those don't come back great they'll induce me ASAP. Wasn't expecting that so now I'm panicking about everything I have to get done!
Favorite Actor/Actress? I don't really have favorite people, and I can't think of anyone that I would see his/her movie just because he/she is in it

How are your numbers? Fasting levels have been a little high the last two mornings. Feeling the pressure of my rapidly approaching due date and the fact that friends of ours who were due Thanksgiving Day but their little boy was born yesterday are getting to me! That and dealing with work stress... I'm trying to stick it out for as long as I can but we'll see. Hoping I can hold out until at least the end of this month.

How are your numbers? I feel like they are creeping up from the same foods but my dietician is not worried. I think I have been cutting back on carbs at meals to keep my numbers down so this week I am tracking the carbs at each meal and not just the glucose level. Still no meds

What do you do for a living? Social Work in the foster care area. Ready to have a break of taking care of everyone else's kids and finally have my own

Any rants, raves, questions? Still hunger... I wake up at 6 am with my stomach growling, and it's still growling when I finish my breakfast... How am I getting enough food?
