Rants - in August I was referred to an in-home daycare lady by two of my coworkers. She reserved by spot in September. I tried calling her 2 weeks ago and never got a response. When I called her today she told me that she unfortunately just took in 2 new infants and since we don't need daycare until February she couldn't hold the spot that long. Awesome. Now we're back to square one.
Raves- Stroller came this week, friend is coming down (2 hour drive) tonight to bring our car seat and extra base! And our glider combo arrives today!

38 weeks...still pregnant much unlike so many Bumpies! Exciting!
Weekly appointment Monday to tell me that I'm still pregnant. Hopefully this one will be less crazy than the last - got hauled in twice Monday because of elevated BP, but it went down to low low (normal for me) and now all is good.
Nada. Can barely fit anything in my tummy because I'm so short-waisted and even though the "baby has dropped" it's truly makes no difference. Heartburn still blows, but that's all I got for now.
Hubby is HOME!!!!! I'm so happy! He's getting stuff done around the house and nesting (more than I am!) making sure everything is ready.
Plus, I'm trying to have the mindset that I don't have any discomforts (outside of heartburn) so I don't feel tortured for the next while until baby comes. This little frame will carry this turkey as long as he needs and I will get this done comfortably!
Putting olives on my fingers and eating them off one at a time. And teaching the LO (eventually) how to smoke the turkey and make some tasty desserts. This boy will be a true renaissance man if I have anything to do with it!
