What are you doing this week to prepare for LO's arrival? Packing the hospital bag this weekend, and buying a more family friendly car! DH and I are torn between a Hyundai Santa Fe and a Subaru Forester. Any of you had any experience with either of these cars?
Rants / Raves / Questions / Symptoms: I noticed that some of you still get ultrasounds this late in pregnancy. I don't get any more! And that bums me out. I was hoping for at least one more.
When's your next appointment? November 28th.
GTKY: What has been your favorite item you have (or someone else) has bought for the baby? Probably the tee pee that my sister bought for his nursery! I can't wait to read books to him in there.

How far along are you? What's new with your little babe? 32 weeks- baby is the size of a Squash or on my photo app a bucket of popcorn. I found out at my apt this week that she's not fully heads down yet, but my midwife said she should turn by 36 weeks! Trying to be go with the flow with the whole thing but I really hope she turns!
What are you doing this week to prepare for LO's arrival? DH and I hired a doula! She's a friendly lady from the North of England who has 5 kids, teaches antenatal classes and is a breast feeding support volunteer! I'm also going to the mall this weekend to buy some hospital bag essentials eeeek.
Rants / Raves / Questions / Symptoms: Baby keeps wedging herself on my right side and she's getting quite big so it's pretty painful. Honestly cannot believe that my belly will get bigger. But it is every week!
When's your next appointment?- December 7th then I move to appts every two weeks.
GTKY: What has been your favorite item you have (or someone else) has bought for the baby?: Probably my octopus play mat. Have my shower next weekend, can't wait to see what I get!

How far along are you? 30 Weeks. Baby is the size of a zucchini.
What are you doing this week to prepare for LO's arrival? Baby shower #1 on Sunday!
Rants/Raves/Questions/Symptoms: Baby girls kicks and movements are getting stronger. Feel like I have to pee all the time. Getting more out of breath. Belly is growing by the day!
GTKY: What has been your favorite item you have (or someone else) has bought for the baby? So far I would say the crib and dresser set I picked out! Since this is our first baby I probably stressed too much about picking one out. But now that its here and set up I LOVE IT! I find myself going in nursery daily just to take it all in! (baby shower this weekend so my favorite item may change!)
@gonetothesea I would recommend the Subaru Forester. I don't personally have one, BUT subarus are great cars in the long run. Very safe, and also the kind of car you could take camping! If taken care of, they have the highest resale value than most cars do.

What are you doing this week to prepare for LO's arrival? Kind of taking a break this weekend. Just hang up some frames in the nursery. Possibly buy some items for my hospital bag.

GTKY: What has been your favorite item you have (or someone else) has bought for the baby? DH and I recently bought an adorable puppet of Hedwig. At first you think its just a stuffed animal, but you can actually stick your hand in and move his head AND it makes owl sounds! Our dogs seriously have their eyes on it

I have an 08 Santa Fe and I love it! I've always felt it has room for things. I will totally buy a new one in however many years when this one dies.
I'm a FTM and though we bought the car seat, we haven't installed it yet. We should soon, I'm 29 weeks!

30 weeks! He's getting adorable brain wrinkles. Awwww.

Nothing. I plan to finish up the nursery next month. #secondtimeslackermom

Hot flashes, fatigue, emotional--a big pot of awesome! But his movements are becoming more of the "my whole belly moves" variety which I can just watch for hours.

We haven't bought much new stuff, but I did get a sleeper that has sock monkey feet that I just LOVE!

What are you doing this week to prepare for LO's arrival? Preparing our birth plan! Insane that we are coming up to that time!

GTKY: What has been your favorite item you have (or someone else) has bought for the baby? My BFF bought me the cutest little warm onesie outfit and I've deemed it the going home outfit.
What are you doing this week to prepare for LO's arrival? My baby shower is in two weeks. I'm really excited for it!
Rants / Raves / Questions / Symptoms: My nails looked AMAZING in my first and second trimester but now they are brittle and keep breaking. I've had some stomach pains here and there. Overall I just feel very tired and SUPER emotional.
When's your next appointment? I have an appointment on Wednesday and an ultrasound set for 11/29.
GTKY: What has been your favorite item you have (or someone else) has bought for the baby? I love, love, love our furniture. All of the grandparents bought us the crib, dresser, and glider chair.
32 weeks! babe is moving a lot more, he's getting stronger with his movements too!

Washing baby clothes from the family shower last weekend and having another shower with friends this weekend!

Well we just bought our stroller/car seat!!! We'll be using black friday to buy some items we still need

30 weeks baby!! He is the size of a cantaloupe, mmmm craving cantaloupe now. He's really givin' er in there, kicking all night long. DH loves playing him music and talking to him in this weird accent that I hope he doesn't inherit...

Continuing to try to find a Doula! It's hard to do this via long-distance email, hoping to find someone who is flexible enough to meet us for the first time in January instead of now. And I started a baby quilt today!

Worst symptom this week has been the lower rib/zyphoid process pain. Feels like my bottom ribs are 'clicking' in and out whenever I move around too much. Rant: the weight I've gained is not fun for the self body image. Trying to stay positive and trying to eat healthily, but it's so hard when all I want is sugar and carbs!!!

if placenta has moved away from cervix! FX! Also hoping they can take a 3D pic of baby's face.

I'm in love with the baby swing we found (Fisher Price SnugaMonkey) and I found a second hand Dockatot! Came with the zebra print cover and can't wait to see baby in it!
