agreed with everyone who isn't thrilled about the FB moves...I'm way too private to ever join a facebook group, and I'm worried that if the regulars all go this board will die out!
My UO is that I think contracts matter... they should be read, they should be correct, grammar should be proper. Etc. I've seen people really fed over because of improper contracting, plus I've been saved thousands because I made someone correct part of a contract they said wouldn't matter (hah), I don't take it lightly especially when it has to do with large amounts of money!
The bishing behind this is that OVER A WEEK AGO we notified this company we wanted to hire the doula we met with. There's been some wishy washy back and forth, days of waiting on them a few times in there, not being sent stuff when I was told I would be... I wind up printing their contract and hand-editing stuff, we initial by the changes, scan and email, and then I get an email saying the company will get back to me with a typed version! Great! Wanted that a week ago, thanks. I eventually get a one-page add-on with multiple punctuation mistakes. They still expect us to sign everything and send in the deposit before we get the signed contract copy back from them, which isn't a breaking point for me but rubs me the wrong way. If I didn't love this woman so much I'd be running so far away from this company. Ugh. Get your stuff together, seriously. You're running a business.
@kjd291 I'm with you about the Facebook group, I keep thinking... Patience... Patience all in due time.
I am another in agreement with you ladies. I actually typed a response in that thread and just didn't post it. I also agree when you @kjd291 mentioned that there will probably end up being two groups. I also don't want conflict but I don't want to join a Facebook group in 6 months that is filled with women who didn't post here (because the app is glittchy or they prefer Facebook etc) and who I won't know. I know there are some regulars that will join that group and obviously it's by personal preference - but it seems many of us have strong privacy concerns and feel similarly about this!
OK- I respect everyone's opinions and have zero preference about what happens in the future, but can I be invited to the second facebook group too?! There are some of you that are missing from the FB group that I enjoy hearing from (why I am still here), but FB is so much easier for me personally. Please don't shun me because I joined the first FB group

If there is indeed another group made in several months, I know I speak for everyone when I say that: anyone that has stuck around and participated will be more than welcome! No one need worry about being shunned!
I think we're all just hoping the community here lasts that long. History of FB groups being made on the bump usually spell out impending ghost town around here.

I plan on sticking around until the end, but joined the FB group. I will be predominantly in here posting on the weekly threads, etc., but will also participate in FB. Sometimes for me personally FB is easier on the weekend. My decision was no reflection on this forum. I like it too much on here to leave!
My UO is that I seriously don't understand why this whole FB group starting is a big deal. People seem overly invested on if and when a facebook group should start, how, and who should be able to join.
@JustAnotherUsername16 I really don't care what other people do so it's not that big of a deal to me but I think it doesn't make sense when not everyone is ready to join and people who are joining the fb group are saying they will still be active here but their reasoning for starting the fb page was because of issues with the app. The people generally concerned seem to be the ones that don't want the app to be deserted. Its already pretty tame and dry on the weekends.

Well as I just learned in the FFFC thread, that's likely because everyone is on TB while at work and they don't work on the weekends, haha! (I'm totally guilty of this myself)
i joined the fb group, ill join any other ones we have later. I find it harder to share on fb... So I'm sticking around here!!!!(but i check in there)! i didn't even social media announce. which we decided to not do..
so y'all ladies know my pregnancy more than anyone else!!!! sometimes i swear more than DH himself!!! hahahaha
I did join the facebook group and i am happy it started...i can interact with people better there. I find it hard to keep up with things here on TB. I feel more like a stalker becausse i cannot interact so much. On this app i do not get notifications to keep up with conversations and constantly have to go back to the thread to see if i have missed anything. Its annoying. Facebook just goes right to my phone. I dont have a computer at work during the week and dont get on mine here at home except on the weekend....if i really have to. I believe this is being made a bigger deal than it really should be.

Same with me, i say a little on fb about pregnancy, but sooo much more here. As I'm sure it's no surprise. I'm a natural talker.
Despite this being my fourth kid, I have never stayed on the bump that long with my other kids as there were always some type of drama. So I have never been on a FB group so I'm wondering what the difference is and how it works? I like this group, all of you ladies are great and helpful. I will say I tend to bump more at home since the computer use at work is monitored and using the phone a lot is also frowned upon, because of this I tend not to post as often because by the time the thread has been posted there are so many responses that I tend not to post but just read everyone's responses. I am a little guarded re the FB but maybe it's more because I don't really know how it works but then again I don't mind the bump and I like being on it.
