Re: TTC Active Athletes (week of 11/14)
How much have you been doing this week? I didn't do much this week--only 3. My motivation is gone.
Do you have a big event coming up? I have Space Coast half the Saturday after Thanksgiving and I'll either be doing a 6k or half on Thanksgiving.
Questions? So my favorite types of Gu have 20mg of caffeine. I had given up caffeine and didn't even think about Gu! What do you guys think? Do I need to switch?
GTKY: What do you wish you had more time to do? Hmm not so much time but I love these classes called Dance Trance but they take me 45min-1hr to get to because of traffic. I wish they were closer
What sport(s) are you doing? Running, cycling, should be doing more strength
How much have you been doing this week? Honestly, not much. I've gone on a lot of long walks with the dog, but I'm in the full TWW bsc mode of "what if I did get KU this cycle? And what if that little ball of cells is trying to burrow into my ute and I'm shaking it out with all this running?" TOTALLY insane, I realize. But I can't help it.
Do you have a big event coming up? Nope. We've always run a turkey trot Thanksgiving morning, but since we and DH's family are all at very different paces, we're just going to go on a family walk/hike instead.
Questions? Have any of you found ways to tame the bsc when it comes to working out during the TWW?
GTKY: What do you wish you had more time to do? Definitely running (stupid Daylight Saving isn't helping). Outside of athletics, crafting.

What sport(s) are you doing? Running
How much have you been doing this week? I ran for the first time in two weeks today - I nice 4 miler
Do you have a big event coming up? I have a half marathon on Sunday. I ran 10 on 10/30 the day before my IUI and then took the TWW off per advice of the nurse. When I tested this morning and got the BFN (womp womp) I decided to run. I'll plan to do two more runs this week before Sunday's race.
Questions?
GTKY: What do you wish you had more time to do? I have the time but I wish I had the motivation to get to a yoga studio more often.

How much have you been doing this week? Did a KB workout yesterday and running 3 miles tonight and try and do that every other day. Going to try and do a long run on Saturday
Do you have a big event coming up? Space Coast Half marathon
Questions? I wish I did currently don't have any
GTKY: What do you wish you had more time to do? I wish I had more motivation to get more long runs in before my big race in January at disney. I have zero motivation. I'd appreciate any input on what you do to get motivated again.
@laurad75 yay on your first run! I love a good 4 mile run. So sorry about your bfn. Finger crossed for you and good luck with your half on Sunday.
@laurad75 I use the Gu all the time, so I know my body's ok with it. Just wondering about the caffeine content.
@eml262 I'm with you on lack of motivation. How far have you gotten up to? And does the raw honey come in single packets?
And thank you (and @EML262) for confirming that I'm not alone. I've tried to voice worries to DH, but he keeps saying I can't let it hold me back. It doesn't help that he's read articles about the crazy marathoners who train up to 9 months pg (more power to them, but wow!) and seems to think that is achievable for anyone. I wonder if boys will ever get it...

@RunRestRepeat yeah power to those who train at 9 months. No way. I just can't imagine how exhausting it must be and NO boys will NEVER get it.
@RunRestRepeat I'm so there with you on worrying about workout effects :S I basically neglected my weekend long run over the weekend before (convinced myself sooo much that I'm possibly KU...stupid, of course I wasn't). The fear is there, whether it's realistic or not. I decided that I am going to embrace it. This is who I am, this is how I operate. I want to be a caring, loving, nurturing mom once (if I get lucky enough to be one), at this point this is how in can manifest. I DO wonder about if my current actions can mean any harm, and that's ok. Not to stress myself scared about it, well, that's the heavy task
@laurad75 Sorry for the BFN.
@EML262 I love KB wourkouts
What sport(s) are you doing? Running is my eternal love, lately I have a new passion: crossfit
How much have you been doing this week? well, I had a bad case of stupidly thinking I was KU, to basically skipped my long run the weekend before (did a 4,5 k easy), and AF came with a bang. I had such awful cramps Wednesday that I couldn't even sit. Had to skip weightlifting class too. Tried to make up for it aroung the second half of the week, did 2 CF workouts and a beautiful 10k on Sunday
Do you have a big event coming up? Nope, no plans for a while.
Questions?
GTKY: What do you wish you had more time to do? I've been mentioning in the daily threads that I don't quite feel my relaxed self lately (the least to say :P). So what I'd really like to do again is yoga, to reach inner balance again. Whenever I have time I just go to the CF box or for a run, need to change that
