28 weeks, 4 days. Baby is 14 inches, the size of the world's biggest oyster Next appointment is scheduled for 12/5; sooner if my 3-hour glucose comes back elevated. New symptoms include extreme weepiness (exacerbated by election results and an impending sense of doom and constant panic), ALL THE BABY BRAIN (highlights: telling me husband to pick me up at the wrong train station, telling him the right train station on a night I was staying in the city; fully believing I had made a reservation for me and some coworkers when I never actually did) RRQ: Trying so hard to move forward in this horrible new America we could be facing. I'm part of several secret groups on Facebook that are dedicated to making positive change. One is challenging us to do one thing every day that will help make the world a better place. I've been wearing a safety pin since Friday. I refuse to let me daughter be afraid of the world, or to be a good person who does nothing. My favorite subject was always Theater, and by extension English Lit. I never had much of a mind for math or science, but I can have entire conversations in Shakespearean!

OMG, yes! -Major cramping of the legs. -Lots of pressure on my pelvis so by late afternoon it hurts really bad and I can barely walk. -Definitely waddling now. -Having to pee more than ever. -Nausea has returned but thankfully it's not nearly as bad as 1st tri. -Feel winded when I do any amount of walking. -I really hope I'm not getting a cough.
Rant/Rave/Questions? I'm super glad I got most of my baby classes out of the way during 2nd tri. Not only would it have been so hard because I'm working, now. But also because I'm way too exhausted. GTKY: What was your favorite subject in school? Anything science related. Always loved the biology and anatomy classes we'd do. No wonder I'm in the Healthcare field!
A lettuce? They're forcing it with the produce comparisons at this point.
When is your next appointment?
11/23 for a check up and follow up u/s due to low lying placenta at my a/s
Symptom changes?
Not a change and potentially TMI but between constipation and hemherroids I've come to dread the bathroom.
Rant/Rave/Questions? I miss red wine so very much. and champagne. Cognitively I know I could have a small glass but I haven't because I think it would make me anxious after the fact. GTKY: What was your favorite subject in school? I always loved English. I love to read and get lost in stories
When is your next appointment? Not until December but I do have my follow up appointment with the cardiologist this week
Symptom changes? Insomnia! Exhausted but still having a hard time sleeping
Rants/raves/questions? We just started some of our baby classes this month. I'm glad we are getting half of them out of the way now so January won't be so overwhelming
GTKY: What was your favorite subject in school? English! I love reading and took all of the advanced English classes throughout high school
How far along are you? 29 weeks How big is baby? an acorn squash, a barbie convertible, a hawian pineapple, a new england cotton tail rabbit or a coat hanger
When is your next appointment? 24
symptom changes? ive been really grumpy, though ive been really stressed at work & think its probably more to do with that than being pregnant. rants / raves / questions? literally counting down the days til i finish up work for maternity leave as work sucks so badly at the minute.
im off on friday this week to go on a girls weekend with my best friend and her family (her mum, aunt, granny & cousins). We went last year too & it was so much fun. Though it was very boozy last year. I remember last year everyone laughing & saying that when we came back this year me & my best friend could be pregnant & i am!
GTKY: what was your favourite subject in school? another one for english & english lit, i had a complete change of direction between school & university though & i loved maths in uni & excelled at it despite hating it at school & thinking i was awful at it.

Waking up feeling kind of sick occasionally. I actually threw up in the morning over my vacation in the states. It's odd because I didn't really have any morning sickness in my first trimester... can you even get that in your second? My appetite also sucks still. I can maybe eat like two meals a day. I try to do light snacking in between just to get in my nutrients, but normal sized meals have been kind of a no go.
Rant/Rave/Questions? I'm mostly just worried about my lack of appetite. Where is this need to eat everything I've heard so much about during pregnancy. Lol.

Since I can't choose between art and English I'm going to go with Japanese class! My teacher all four years in high school was so much fun! I loved learning the language and he was really supportive and kind, it was great.
@BeckS13 i have found the same with eating. Whoever came up with eating for 2 was telling lies as there simply isnt the room to even eat for one! Lots of smaller snacks is the only way.
