    Appointments this week? none this week

    Symptoms? I started having some mild nausea last week and it's just been coming and going. It's been more of a gagging reflex this week.

    Rant/Rave/Questions? I got nothing.

    GTKY: What's your favorite music to listen to and what was the best concert you ever attended? I love latin music and country. My favorite concerts are a tie between Ricardo Arjona's Santo Pecado tour in 2003 and George Strait's The Cowboy Rides Away tour in 2014 with Eric Church.

    How far along are you? 12 weeks

    How big is baby? Size of a plum

    Appointments this week? Nope, not for another week and a half

    Symptoms? I think my fatigue is subsiding finally! I have started getting headaches if I don't keep up my water intake.

    Rant/Rave/Questions? Just excited to almost be done with the first trimester!

    GTKY: What's your favorite music to listen to and what was the best concert you ever attended? I like county, techno, and rap. Best concert I've ever been to was Mannheim Steamrollers when I was 10 years old.

    Appointments this week? not until the end of the month

    Symptoms? still dealing with fatigue but nausea is not as frequent. RLP is happening more now

    Rant/Rave/Questions? DD and I are visiting my parents all week. I got to tell my three closest girlfriends the good news so Im hally they know now! And its been so nice to not worry about cooking so much since my mom treats us well. =)

    GTKY: What's your favorite music to listen to and what was the best concert you ever attended? I'm not a big music person since I'm deaf (with a cochlear implant) but I do tend to lean toward alternative rock/pop most of the time. Favorite concert was dashboard confessional back in high school.

    Appointments this week? I have my NT ultrasound next Tuesday- I am so excited! 

    Symptoms? Extreme hunger and my boobs are growing like crazy. I have gone from a from a small A to a full C- last pregnancies I grew to a full B then shrunk back down! I may have to buy  MORE new bras soon because I feel they are getting bigger! 

    Rant/Rave/Questions? Rave- only 44 days till Christmas! Now-back to the boobs- I am no longer comfortable not wearing a bra at night...what do you wear longing around the house/ to bed. I feel so confused by the new goods! 

    GTKY: What's your favorite music to listen to and what was the best concert you ever attended? I listen to a good mix of music. Best concert was Alabama's Farewell concert in college- they know how to play the fiddle!

    Appointments this week? I've got one next Tuesday. Nothing big scheduled, just the usual checkup. I'm still waiting to get another ultrasound so I can get a peek at this munchkin. The only one I've had so far was my dating one at 6 weeks 

    Symptoms? Good lord, the exhaustion. It needs to end. Also, pregnancy rhinitis has kicked in, and it's hard to breathe at night now. Fun times!!

    Rant/Rave/Questions? My husband occasionally reminds me that he is the best. He surprised me the other night with a bag that I'd been eyeballing to use as a combination purse/diaper bag. He also cleaned out his half of the closet and donated a bunch of stuff, then hung up all of my maternity clothes in the space he cleared out. <3

    GTKY: What's your favorite music to listen to and what was the best concert you ever attended?
    I listen to just about everything. My iTunes is a hodgepodge mix of music.The best concert is hard, though! I have a ton, but the ones I've enjoyed the most have been because of the people I've been with!

    Appointments this week? Just had my 12 week appt/physical today. Everything seemed good and I got to hear the baby's heartbeat.

    Symptoms? Nausea all the time. I mean, seriously...all the time. The doctor I saw today suggest B6, so I'm going to give that a try.

    Rant/Rave/Questions? I forgot to ask this at my appointment today. Does anyone have advice for helping sciatic pain? My left side just keeps getting worse. If I crouch down, I have to lean to the side and push myself up off the ground. And it twinges even when I'm just walking. I heard a suggestion for putting a tennis ball under your butt cheek, but it didn't seem to do anything (or I wasn't placing it right).

    GTKY: What's your favorite music to listen to and what was the best concert you ever attended? I lean towards alternative, but I have a pretty eclectic taste in music. I'm just not a fan of popular country, but I do like bluegrass and folk. I haven't been to many concerts, so I don't really have a "best". I wasn't thrilled with any of them.

    How far along are you? 15 weeks

    How big is baby? About 4 inches

    Appointments this week? We got the results of our NT scan this week, and we were told we were at the "lowest risk level" for Down Syndrome and trisomy 13 and 18, and the ultrasound showed no abnormalities. Although we know this test isn't absolute, we were really happy with the news.  :)

    Symptoms? Very emotional. I've cried over something stupid a few days this week, but I'm typically not the "crying" type. I'll admit I'm a yeller though, (I have a hot Italian temper LOL), but it's funny that I seemed to trade in getting mad/irritated/annoyed for being sensitive these days.

    GTKY: What's your favorite music to listen to and what was the best concert you ever attended? My favorite concert in recent memory was Pearl Jam in Chicago last summer. Other bands I enjoy listening to include Foo Fighters, Tool, and various 90's grunge-rock groups.

      None until the 21st
    Symptoms?
      Some nausea when I don't eat for a few hours, tired, and I've been getting terrible headaches for the past week or so
    Rant/Rave/Questions?
      I finally got to hear the LO's heartbeat with my home doppler!! I try to only use it once or twice a week just in case there are some unknown side effects but it is so nice/reassuring to hear!
    GTKY: What's your favorite music to listen to and what was the best concert you ever attended?
     I listen to a lot of pop and country music. My favorite concert was probably Taylor Swift or Tim McGraw.

    How big is baby? I don't know :)

    Appointments this week? None, but I got my genetic test result back -- all in the clear! :):):)

    Symptoms? Well just in time for nausea to have subsided, my SPD is acting up. I'm kind of limping around. I need to stretch and strengthen.

    Rant/Rave/Questions? I called the sister with fertility problems last night to tell her I'm pregnant and she cried but was still completely supportive. I feel so so so bad. Even though this was a desired pregnancy, given that it's #3 I really would switch places with her if I could; we would have been ok to stop at 2. I just wish everyone who wants biological (and non-biological) children could have them.

    My other rant is that I don't know about you all but I'm really despondent about the election results. It's even bumming me out about bringing another child into this world.

    GTKY: What's your favorite music to listen to and what was the best concert you ever attended?
    There are so many concerts I've been to so it's hard to say. I'm going to provide a few weird answers -- my favorite "thing" to attend that's really a 3 to 4-day concert is the New Orleans Jazz Festival. I've been four times now. At that festival, the best group I saw was Midnight Disturbers.
    In terms of single concerts, one of my favorite groups is called Spoken Hand Percussion Ensemble. I play the drums and this is a world music PURE percussion group. I love them. My goal in life is to tap dance with them someday (they often have guest artists so this would maybe not be out of the realm of possibility.)
