Irish twins?!?

I just found out we are expecting AGAIN! I am in complete shock and honestly terrified. Is anyone else expecting Irish twins or have Irish twins at home? I'm EBF and planned to for at least 1-1.5 years but am worried about my supply dropping and having to supplement. Has anyone experienced this while pregnant? I'm going to try to build my freezer stash now just in case, any other suggestions?

  • I don't have any advice but congrats!!

  • Congrats!  No experience on this but  Does your baby take a bottle?  I would make sure he/she does before building up a stash.  Otherwise you could donate your milk!  Good luck!
  • Congrats! I don't know how it affects EBF but I bet an LC or your OB would have some good insight. You can do it!

  • Congrats!! Not sure how it effects supply, but I do know you are not supposed to pump when pregnant. I believe can induce labor. Definitely talk to an LC and your OB
  • Congrats and good luck! My SIL has Irish twins. 363 days a part!

  • Congratulations!
  • Congratulations! +1 to talking to a LC or your OB about breastfeeding while pregnant.
  • Thanks guys, I did talk to my midwife and she said I can still breastfeed my son and pump. Thankfully he does take a bottle so I'm happy that's one less hurdle!
