What's new with your little babe this week? How many weeks are you? 32 weeks. This was a milestone week so I'm excited to be here!

Are you doing anything this week to prepare for your baby's arrival? I bought everything remaining on my little mini registry (not having a shower) this week so we are ready! Just need to keep stockpiling diapers and wipes. And if this baby is a boy, we'll need to shop for clothes after he's born.

Rants / Raves / Symptoms / Questions: I can't breathe! I now get out of breath just from talking ☹️
When's your next appointment? Routine check up on 11/22. My next goal is to keep baby in until Thanksgiving day, which will be 34 weeks. We'll have a lot to be thankful for if we do!

GTKY: Now that we're in the 3rd trimester, is anyone having any inklings on if baby will come early/late? What is your moms intuition saying now? (Stolen from Wednesday ticker change) I'd be shocked if this baby doesn't come early. I've been on pins and needles since 26 weeks hoping to stay pregnant. If this baby ends up making it to term, I'll be ecstatic!

Are you doing anything this week to prepare for your baby's arrival? Nope. If I make it to 30 I'll start buying some things online.

Rants / Raves / Symptoms / Questions: Its irritating that I have symptoms that "should be a call to the OB" every day. Like tons of contractions, watery discharge and pressure. I don't call for anything because they told me if I do call, they'll very likely make me come in. I'd be in every day

What's new with your little babe this week? How many weeks are you?
32 weeks, only 8 weeks left until we meet baby girl. Hooray! She has hair and fingernails. If the old wives' tales are true, she must have a lot of hair because holy heartburn.

Are you doing anything this week to prepare for your baby's arrival?
Meeting with the doula tonight, and looking forward to my next baby shower on Saturday! Also, our glider finally came in so I can't wait to go pick it up and set it up in the nursery.

Acid reflux is killing me. I wake up several times at night thinking I am going to throw up because of the acid in my throat. It's pretty awful, and pepcid and tums aren't even touching it. Also, my hips are really starting to hurt at night when I am laying down. Has anyone found any exercises or stretches to help with the hip pain?

When's your next appointment?
Tomorrow - Friday, 11/11. Just a normal appointment, but it's the start of my bi-weekly appointments.

Honestly, I have no idea. I guess my mother's intuition hasn't kicked in yet. I consistently measure exactly where I should be though, so I'm guessing she will arrive the first week in January, as expected.

@lastmango 32 weeks is a huge milestone. Hoping your little one stay in for longer but what a relief to make it this far

@Litzi Fingers crossed that your babe stay in for a few more weeks! Are you on bed-rest? Even if you don't go into your doc I would still call and let them know you are having symptoms. This has to be so hard!! I'll keep you in my thoughts.

@juliebird6 I have had horrible acid reflux too. Ugh.

29 weeks! She is the size of a Barbie car - lol.

Just more of the nursery set up. I have made huge strides but there is still more to do. I am actually starting to freak out a little about the fact that I am going to be responsible for another persons survival. I sure hope those mama instincts kick in!

I posted this in the symptoms thread but I have started to lose more hair and it freaks me out that it means my hormones are dropping or something. I just want a healthy baby!

I am hoping that she will come before Jan 20th so I can write in her baby book that Obama was president.

@susykat77 i tell them my symptoms at every appointment, and they just say "if anything changes..." which things do constantly! but not progressive worsening. yup, bedrest. 5th week i think. And yes to being born before Trump era. I dont want to put that in my daughter's baby book. Yuck. And I wouldn't worry about your hair. Mine thinned above my temples and my hairdresser said so many women complain of that during pregnancy. I'm sure your hormones and baby are perfect (hearing about our preterm scares probably isn't the most comforting!)!!

I'm not sure! If patterns exist then probably early. My mom had myself and my 2 brothers 3 weeks early. I just want her to come the minute she is healthy enough!

30 weeks, baby is the size of a zucchini (wtf??) or a platypus or a motorcycle helmet. None of those sizes make sense

hospital bag is 80% packed, washed some of the baby clothes, and bought a pack of diapers which my husband told me got bad reviews online (Target Brand? Any input from STMs?).

All my second trimester zen is gone. For a few weeks I was very calm about our future life with baby, now I'm a bag of nerves again. Whatever hormones were flooding through me a few weeks ago, I'd like them back, please.
On the plus side, doing all those cat/cow poses has really been paying off, low back pain is no more, woo!

No idea! I'm measuring slightly small but still on track, that's the only information I've gotten from my OB. If the baby is late, I'd prefer that it be by several days instead of just one or two: my due date is 1/19 and my sister's wedding is 1/21. There will be enough drama going on without the wedding and the birth taking place on the same day.

sorry for the inconsistent formatting, I try to make it work on mobile but it's a losing battle...
