Possible unpopular opinion: I support the protesters at trump tower. I *DO NOT* support violence or inappropriate acts that may be included in the protests by some of the protesters, but I DO support their right to protest and I ultimately support them, as I will never "get behind" a man like trump (this part is prob not an UO, though).

I guess to be political for a moment, my UO is that those who didn't vote have no right to complain. Only 46% of eligible voters actually voted Tuesday so it goes to show how much of a difference could be made if people just got out and voted, particularly with how close it was. (ETA it is a free country with free speech. I guess I just mean, get out and vote, people!)
But my non political UO is that it's the parents' responsibility to teach their kids not to run up and grab strange dogs or stick their hands through fences. My dog is friendly but she's extremely excitable and doesn't know her own strength and regardless of training, she'll push or poke without meaning to. She's never bitten, but definitely frightened kids who ran up to her too fast. And that's not her fault.
@HGRich I agree with you! Our dog is super tiny and kids around the neighborhood are always so excited to see the "puppy". Our dog is actually terrified of kids and tries to avoid them on the sidewalk. We always pick her up and hold her if a child want to pet her. She has never bitten a child, but I always am sure to pet her head so that the child pets her back/keeps away from her mouth just to be cautious. I always appreciate when the parents are with the kids and say "Let's ask if it's okay to pet the puppy first. Remember, we have to be very slow and gentle with dogs"
