So far for breakfast I had some scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, a carton of skim milk- and 2 reeses peanut butter cups. No shame @dubcompanion in your breakfast game.
@Spartanrd4 Love it! At 5:30, I was woken up by a grumbling tummy. Wanting to prevent near fainting spells if I delayed breakfast, I had 2 hard boiled eggs, toast, and a Starbucks bottled lite frapp. I ate a mini kit kat on the way to work. Now I'm eating French toast sticks, fruit cocktail, milk, and some more toast.
While I agree that the saying of "eating for two" is scientifically wrong, I argue we're eating for one-and-a-half. The hunger is real.
So much candy around and all I want still is salt. Tacos are sounding amaaaazing right now. I think it's snack time. I always have to eat one breakfast on the way to work and then another when I get to work. Plus a little fake cappuccino. And then by 10am I still have to eat a snack. Lunch at 11:15. Oh, food.

i'm enjoying parsnip season! (my favorite veggie) DH is not so much a fan but I snuck some in the mashed potatoes I made for shepard's pie tonight ...muahaha
I've had a terrible day so I'm going to get Arby's beef and cheddar on regular bun, curly fries, /!; probably their mozzarella sticks. #idontcareanymore
I was making spinach and cheese stuffed shells for dinner and the ricotta (pasteurized) that I was using had a bit left in the bottom of the container so I ate it with a spoon. Yum! I love cheese. Probably could have added it to the recipe but I didn't and it was worth it.
Today was food day at work....First Friday of every month is pretzel Friday, so i had pretzels AFTER stopping for my breakfast sandwich. Plus its a co-workers birthday this week, and bagels and munchkins were on the menu. I may not be able to eat lunch. SO many carbs!
Canned halved peaches. I used to love them as a kid and just never bought them when I started to buy my own groceries but I saw them sitting at the grocery store and got a craving for them and I've been hooked ever since.
Umm I also ate an entire head of broccoli last night. And the night before. I get the oddest cravings...all are rather healthy...the spinach one perhaps the most healthy lol. Yet somehow I'm gaining too much weight. Dr. said I've got to be careful. I am. I exercise 4/5 days a week and walk a couple brisk miles every day. No more running as I fell on my face. Feet can't be trusted. I blame my mother for this; genetics!
Apple crisp. Made too much for Sunday with family and have been indulging in a little every day since.... I've got to get a handle on my carb cravings. Lol
Today I HAD to have mint chocolate. So I bought a mini pack of thin mints when I was out running errands. Tonight I made a whole chicken dinner for a family meal with potatoes, carrots,stuffing, peas and rolls. I do not want anything but the meat... I had a giant pile of chicken and dipped it in ketchup. Haha. Must need the protein??
So far the only real craving I've had in this pregnancy so far (aside from a few passing fixes) are apples! I could eat them all day and the little man always jumps around after I eat them.. maybe he's thanking me for giving into the craving
@RunBooRun I went to Katz the other day! I was so, so, so looking forward to a full on pastrami sandwich + mustard + pickle, but when I got there my body wouldn't let me. The only thing I could make myself eat was a knish. What a waste of a good food outing! Hope your trip goes better than mine

Bummer. I would literally cry giant tears if that happened.
Earlier today I ate a can of soup. Straight outta the can...and halfway through I looked at the expiration date: Sept 2015. I still ate the rest of it.
My favorite snack is about 15 wheat thin crackers, salsa, a string cheese and some apple slices. Sooo yummy! I'm also loving PB&J with an ice cold glass of milk.
