It's November (Thanksgiving is almost here for those of us in the US!) and with all the election drama I think a lot of us need to focus on the good right now. So, what are you thankful for?

I'm so thankful just to be this far along. After my loss this year I was devastated and wondered briefly if I'd ever get to have children. So I'm just so grateful to have a baby girl 17 weeks along already and hopefully doing just fine!

I'm also thankful for my husband, my job, and that this crazy week at work is almost over!

Great thread! I'm thankful for my little nugget in my belly and also for my boss not getting mad at me walking in 10 minutes late.....everyday! Its hard getting up these days!

I'm thankful for my sweet DD and (despite a few differences we've had lately) my loving supportive DH, and my parents and sister who help us out (with babysitting, or anything at all! at the drop of a hat).

Also very thankful I have the opportunity to go back to school and pursue my dream of becoming a nurse!

I'm thankful for DH, who has been amazing and sweet my whole pregnancy (really, he's been that way the whole time I've known him), and for my family and DH's family who are both super supportive and willing to help us in so many different ways while we transition to parenthood.

I'm thankful for Nugget and for what has so far been, from what I can tell, a healthy pregnancy. Can't wait to see him/her again next week!

I'm thankful that in the chaos the last few days, I keep seeing indicators that goodness and love will prevail (no matter what side you're on), and that makes me cautiously hopeful in spite of my disappointment with the results.

Also, on a completely different note, I'm thankful for bagels with extra cream cheese. They are just so good!!

Great thread idea. I was super depressed all day yesterday after the election and I am trying to cheer myself up today. I also hope that goodness and love will prevail, but it is really hard to stay positive lately. I figure the best thing we can do now is raise our babies to be kind, tolerant, and respectful, and keep the country moving in a positive direction.

I am thankful that I have a lot of fun plans this weekend (a concert, a 5k, date night with DH) to hopefully distract me from my nerves about the upcoming anatomy scan. I am also thankful that I have had a healthy pregnancy so far with no complications. I am thankful for my family (DH and mom) - mom for everything, but lately because I know she will be an amazing grandmother and I am lucky to have her here for support - and DH for so many things but mainly his patience and support since I got pregnant. He picked up a lot of slack those weeks where I was so nauseous and basically incapable of doing anything except lying on the couch.

I am so thankful for these little parasites growing inside me. I can't believe I made it to 19 weeks! After our previous loss, I somewhat apprehensive to get excited. I'm also thankful that my bigger twin let me know what he thinks of my singing - I got a swift kick when I belted the high note. Thanks, buddy. Message received.

I am thankful to feel more excited now that we know LO is a boy. I'm excited to start talking more with family about a baby shower, celebrating holidays, etc. I am thankful for my amazing husband who has been so supportive and my rock. I don't know what I did to deserve him. I'm also thankful that it's getting to mid-November and I can still take my dog on a walk after school without it being super cold and snowy

This comes at a perfect time for me. My due date for my loss earlier this year would be Saturday. I've been having a hard time with the thought that I should have a baby already. I should be having sleepless nights and baby snuggles. I am beyond thankful and grateful for the sweet baby boy currently on the inside, but it doesn't detract from my pain that I have been feeling these last few days.
I'm also incredibly thankful for DH. He has been amazing this whole past year that we have been TTC, even through the loss, and my PGAL brain. I know he doesn't always understand my craziness, but it's amazing that he still loves me anyways.
And I'm thankful for all my sweet boys. They have really been my fighting force and the reason I wake up every morning with a smile on my face. They drive me crazy, but I wouldn't have it any other way. This morning they got into a fight about who got to open the door as we were leaving the house. Like full on tears. The Lord loves to challenge me.

Besides the obvious, we have a vacation coming up and I get to do a basket making class tomorrow! I love the feeling of making something useful with my own hands that actually turns out. The class itself is a welcome distraction from the chaos of life and a nice break for Momma

I'm thankful for DH who is the best father I could ask for our little one. We are in our baby moon at San Louis Obispo in California and he felt the baby move for the first time. We are talking names and dreaming of all the things will get to share with our son or daughter.

I'm thankful for a healthy anatomy scan and a 20 week little one after our two losses earlier this year.
