I hope no one minds, but I'd like to share my fun story about today! I am a military spouse, husband has been in the Navy for 13.5 years and we've been married for 10 years next month. A few weeks ago my friend had me sign up for an event, Mission: Healthy Baby. It is a baby shower for military members/spouses hosted by March of Dimes and the Boston Bruins. It was freaking amazing! We were at the Boston Harbor Hotel in a room right on the water. We got to eat a nice brunch and receive some short educational presentations. Plus, we all got amazing gifts! A box full of goodies (Boba wrap, Seventh Generation diapers, onesies, sleeper sacks, toys, pacifiers, etc), an Avent manual breast pump, Avent baby monitor, AND a Safety 1st Smooth Ride travel system (that they are shipping to our homes so we didn't have to lug them out of the hotel)! My husband and I are stoked because that saves us about $300. They also had a few raffles and games with prizes.
It was such an awesome day! Obviously, we don't have any family near us so it was special to be able to celebrate with some of my Navy family.

It has me so excited for April to get here!!!
