Talking positively about baby

I have noticed that when I talk to people about my toddler I have a hard time talking nice about him. Its mostly sarcastic comments that are funny but real facts about being a parent. It has always annoyed me when parents only brag about their child and act like its easy and they have the perfect kid. Am I wrong and does it make me sound like a bad parent? Are they any other parents out there who are like me and should I feel guilty about only talking to truth about parenting?

Re: Talking positively about baby

  • I think more people should talk about real parenting. It's hard, kids are stinkers, nobody gets enough sleep, you're trying to juggle everything. I think it's OK to talk about the negative things, but the good things too, maybe a happy medium.
