CD/DPO: 27/9
Timing: -5, -3, -1, +1
Testing: no testing until Tuesday's Pee Pact. I didn't think it would be so easy to wait, so I'm glad for it.
R/R: Had a dream that I got in trouble for a simple typo in a thank you e-mail at work. I have been thinking about making changes as in transferring to another school or district, getting a supervisor certificate and trying to get a job closer to home, or staying home when we have kids. More school wouldn't be reimbursed or count towards a salary increase and I'm still in grad school / undergrad debt that DH doesn't want to pay off until we buy a new house. He wants to sell my house (which has a bad layout inside and out for kids / our big families) and buy one closer to my job. I have been telling him I'm not sure what we should do (but I have moved a decent amount and have only felt really at home in the county we are in now) and that I'd like to avoid the topic until we have a LO on the way to worry about. I guess those thoughts of feeling unappreciated and nitpicked ("but you're a great teacher!) at work are starting to invade my sleep.
CS/Q: Nope. Last two temps are the highest I've had since I started charting.
GTKY: Do you have more friends that are guys, girls, or an even mix of both?
I have more female friends because of the way our country socializes kids. My education major was mostly females in college and most of the sports I played were team sports with girls. I do have a lot of guy friends from playing co-ed soccer when I was younger and co-ed softball now. I totally think that guys and girls can be friends without anything else going on.

Testing: Tomorrow! Tuesday Pee Pact!
R/R: Last night I just flipped out on DH for not helping clean up around the house enough. I've mentioned this before on here, but DH was pretty baby'd by MIL, so he never really learned to help out around the house...she just always did everything. Yesterday, I just got so frustrated and I don't know what I have to do or say to get him to change! I'm always cleaning up the kitchen, sweeping floors, putting dishes in/out of dishwasher, taking out the trash, doing laundry. He literally has only helped with any of those chores once or twice since we got married. I almost want to make a chore chart or something... I know he's capable of them, because he lived on his own for 2 years of grad school, and I was only here part time for the first 8 months in our new town. AGH. If anyone has tips to get YH to help around the house, please share!!
CS/Q: Just the above in my rant.
GTKY: Do you have more friends that are guys, girls, or an even mix of both? Definitely girls! I have a group of friends that we've all known each other since 1st grade and they're my closest friends. Then, beyond that my closest friends from college are the girls I lived with.

@KhRun17 It can be difficult to share chores with DH sometimes. I know it's not a huge idea, but what worked for us is that we dedicated some chores to be his. There was a transformation period of course where I had to be patient but with time it stuck. Like taking out the trash, and (wierdly) doing laundry. For everything else I still have to ask for, if I need help, but it worked out well to slowly make a few taksk "HIS". Now he does them without me nugging him. Hope it helps a little, and GL with DH
Month/Cycle: 13/8 (that counts anyway)
CD/DPO: 28/9
Timing: great
Testing: Wednesday. I've decided. Hope I can resist the urge to join the Pee Pact tomorrow
R/R: Rant: not really a rant but have to say I'm in sort of a rollercoaster this cycle. I was so optimistic and excited that "this might be it" for a while, and now, since yesterday evening I feel like I'm out. Like I'd have any way to know, LOL :P I can be so stupid with the TWW, sorry
Rave: I'm super excited for the Pee Pact ladies!
Yup, I did:
CS/Q: Nope.
GTKY: Do you have more friends that are guys, girls, or an even mix of both? Mostly girls now that I'm really close to. There was a time though when it was egual a few years back, but it is more difficult to keep up friendships with the guys from our firend group now that we are all married. It's always a couples meeting, since now the girls are part of the group too. Sometimes I miss the one-to-ones with the guys, but asking only THEM out for a "drink" or sg just would feel wierd a bit.

2. I had my first bfp dream since we started TTC. I dreamed that I had an expired hpt and I just wanted to get rid of it so I peed on it (makes total sense, right??) and there was a faint line, but it was way too early for a test to turn. Like only 5 DPO. I was so confused in the dream
3. *TW* Pregnancy mentioned
CS/Q: nope
GTKY: Do you have more friends that are guys, girls, or an even mix of both? More girls I guess. I’ve never really stopped to think about it or count.

@KhRun17 , I totally hear you. My MIL coddled DH too. He would finish a glass and literally two minutes later she would have it cleaned up already. GTKY: Do you have more friends that are guys, girls, or an even mix of both? I'd say both, maybe a little bit more on the girl side.
NYTino24 - work stuff is the worst. I feel like I can finally talk about my shit a little bit...my past 3 months were me starting a MAJOR coup because I was about to quit. It wasn't so much of an ultimatum as it was "we need to fix this shit". It's finally all played out (well, almost), and I got my boss, our VP, and our COO fired along with getting our other director demoted. Suffice it to say, people finally listened. I feel like a major weight has been lifted because it was all this play out just as it did, or starting over somewhere else after 10 years, which I just wasn't ready to do. andplusalso - FX wicked hard for you and can I get in on pee day?!
@KhRun17 - no tips. Well maybe one. Try crying. LOL. My husband worked my last the other day at lunch and I flat out started crying at our table (we were out). ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the apologies and help the rest of the weekend. I'm NOT a crier, at least in front of him...but I had had it...and now I'm going to try that more hahahahhahahahahaha

@KhRun17 What others have said about giving DH his own chores that he's responsible for. Also my DH says he's more likely to help if we do th chores together. I like to put on music and have a beer when I clean to make it more fun. LOL Also I've found that getting mad is only going to stress yourself out. My DH hates doing dishes and although I don't love it either, I just do it sometimes because it stresses me out way more to see the sink full of dishes!

R/R: Our first wedding anniversary is in a week! It would be the best gift to get a BFP, but I'm pretty sure it's not going to happen. Definitely having PMS symptoms.
CS/Q: This may sound crazy, but on 6 DPO, I slipped down the stairs and got a bit bruised up (I'm dumb lol). After that, I was just emotionally spent and kind of had a bit of a crying break down. Could all of that affect implantation? Dr. Google simultaneously made me feel crazy and made me paranoid (reading about women who say things like don't take hot baths or exercise around implantation time lol). I'm fully aware that this probably sounds insane, but I just was kicking myself for doing anything that could jeopardize our chances.
GTKY: Do you have more friends that are guys, girls, or an even mix of both? I'd say a mix of both.

Acupuncture is a tricky topic but here's my two cents. I first went about three or four years ago when I developed terrible jaw pain (TMJ) and my doctor basically told me there was nothing to be done about it except avoid chewy foods (wtf) and hope it goes away. "Hope it goes away" is a ludicrous suggestion and I was desperate -- I was in pain and could barely eat. My mom suggested I try acupuncture, but I was super skeptical because I thought it was dumb and could never work, plus at the time I couldn't find any research evidence about it. But like I said, I was desperate and acupuncture was covered by my insurance at the time so eventually I said what the hell and went to a place near my house. I went one time and my jaw felt SO much better. I went a second time and my jaw pain was completely gone. I went literally twice and that was it. I couldn't believe it. I am not a believer in things like that but I couldn't deny that my pain was gone. Maybe it was the placebo effect but it was gone! (fwiw my dentist told me that TMJ that goes away with acupuncture is stress-related so my experience may not be typical. Mine was definitely stress-related)
Since then some medical trials have shown small but statistically significant impacts for acupuncture on things like pain and chronic illness -- typically things that western medicine isn't great at treating. I have horrible pain from endometriosis so I started going again when I went off BCP in order to TTC. I find that it really alleviates my severe menstrual cramps. I've also been going a few days before I ovulate because my acupuncturist suggested it to help fertility -- though it's been six cycles without a positive, so it certainly isn't a smoking gun. That said, I find acupuncture incredibly relaxing. I stay destressed for hours. If it has no "real" effect except that it helps me destress enough to get pregnant, that is worth it to me.
I live in NY, which is an expensive part of the country, and pay $70 per session. It's just $50 per session where my parents live in Arizona. Sometimes it is covered by insurance. If you are interested, I recommend you look for a practitioner with a Masters in Acupuncture/Chinese Medicine specifically. Don't go to a chiropractor or somebody who "also" does acupuncture. You should also check whether your state requires licensure for acupuncture, as this will ensure that the practice is following public health standards.
Happy to chat more about it if you have questions!

I keep trying to tell myself that, if this isn't my cycle, I get to spend the weekend cuddling with my wine glass and watching all of my favorite shows because DH will be gone hunting. This is his first time deer hunting, and I really hope he bags a deer because it would fill our freezer with highly nutritious, organic meat. Organic, grass-fed beef/chicken/pork is REALLY expensive around here and makes DH flip out about how much money I spend on food.
Also, for those of you interested in alternative/natural deodorant - I just got some Piper Wai natural deodorant and I really like it so far! It doesn't contain any baking soda, so it doesn't irritate the skin.

Testing: BFN today, I was weirdly nervous prior to testing this morning, I don't know why since I have no reason to believe a non-medicated cycle would be successful.
R/R: we are 98% done with raking leaves...60, yes 60 yard bags worth!! its monday and I'm just waiting to see how long my LP will be this cycle. Oh I do have one more rant. I have a fairly specialized job and am on call 24/7/365. so if I want to go more than an hour away from my house I have to find someone to cover for me at this point there is only one other person in town that can cover for me... well that person had some medical stuff come up and has no idea when they might be available to be my back up again.... so that means I can't go anywhere for the foreseeable future. UGGG it just feels so restrictive.... there are things I want to do and can't.... Ok pitty party over!
CS/Q: nope, temp up, hopes down
GTKY: Do you have more friends that are guys, girls, or an even mix of both? we have made more couples friends especially after the kiddos but my closest friends are girls
@NYTino24 sorry work is invading your dreams and isn't the happiest place.
@khrun17 we actually do have a chore chart. We have listed all of the chores that need to be done on a weekly basis. I had him help me come up with what chores should be on the weekly list. I still have to ask him to do some of them but I think DH likes to cross things off the list. GL I know its super frustrating... when DH and I were living in 2 separate cities for a while his apartment was a disaster...
@hupp0013 I so feel you on the time change thing.... what a cruel joke
@starla sorry for the BFN
@ColoradoHiker sorry CD1, be good to yourself
@krys Hooray for a longer LP!!!
@AngelaPlus3 I am so sorry for your loss and hope your stay back here is short.

@lulu1180 FX that the holy water helps! I think like acupuncture (which I haven't done for TTC but do for migraines), it doesn't always matter why it works (if it just gives you the extra confidence, or if it makes a tangible difference), any help is good
@ColoradoHiker Sorry for AF - hopefully you were able to wrap up the weekend with a nice bottle of wine!
Month/Cycle: 2/1
CD/DPO: 32/10
Timing: 0, 1
Testing: maybe tomorrow with the pee pact? depends what my temps do (see R/R below)
R/R: I woke up early again (thanks to the time change) - it was only an hour and a bit before I usually temp, but my temperature had dropped big time. I'm pretty sure that means AF will show up on Wednesday, right on schedule (so if it's still low tomorrow, I will save the FRER for next cycle). I know it's ridiculous (and I definitely don't expect any sympathy), nothing about me (PCOS) and the timing (DH out of town until day of O) makes me think that we would be one of those annoying couples who gets KU on the first cycle - but that doesn't mean that I didn't still let myself go a bit BSC and get my hopes up, especially when my temp spiked yesterday.
CS/Q: Nope, just waiting to see what happens tomorrow, but pretty sure AF is almost here
GTKY: Definitely more women, but still a mix of both
CD/DPO: 13 or 14DPO
Timing: -1 or -2
Testing: Tested this morning, BFN. No AF yet, but moving over to the WTO thread because I am pretty certain I am out. Best of luck to all of you and I will return to this thread at the end of this month!
ETA: Experienced some spotting today, so pretty sure it's AF.
R/R: I just want AF to arrive!!! (never thought I would say that)
CS/Q: nope
GTKY: Do you have more friends that are guys, girls, or an even mix of both?
Honestly, I don't have a ton of friends that are nearby. I had quite a few in college, but then we moved away from each other. Now, I have one really good friend (girl) and then mostly hang out with DH's friends (a mix of both).
@KhRun17 I have had similar problems with my DH. Just by seeing my inlaws home I know he was raised with a different standard of cleanliness. It can be pretty filthy over there. He is a lot better now, but usually if he sees me cleaning and I ask him to help he will. We also have a deal that if he cooks I do kitchen clean up and visa versa. He also takes out trash and does most yard work, so I try to remind myself of that when I'm folding his laundry.
Month/Cycle: 3/3
CD/DPO: 27/12
Timing: -3, -2, O, +1
Testing: Will test tomorrow for the Tuesday pee pact if I'm still in it.
R/R: I had some cramping start last night and a little this morning. I'm pretty sure I'm out. I think I'm taking it better this month than last, but AF still hasn't officially started so I'm sure when it hits and I don't have that glimmer of hope I will be on the couch with ice cream and tissues.
CS/Q: nope
GTKY: Do you have more friends that are guys, girls, or an even mix of both? I think slightly more guy friends. More of my long time friends are guys.
Month/Cycle: 6/6
CD/DPO: 25/11
Timing: -5,-3,-1
Testing: Still holding out for the Pee Pact tomorrow!! FX everyone!!!
R/R: Eh, nothing really. Pretty tired today, but other than that it has been a pretty typical Monday so far.
CS/Q: No thanks!
GTKY: Do you have more friends that are guys, girls, or an even mix of both? When I was younger it was definitely more guys than girls, but at this point I feel like it has kind of evened out. However, I think that is likely a result of my guy friends being in long term relationships/getting married.

Timing:-3, -2, -1, +1
Testing: Not until AF is late if my will power is strong enough. Too many BFN disappointments in the past, that I generally don't get the urge to test unless I have gone down the rabbit hole with symptoms
R/R:Rave-I had such a great weekend with my BFF and her family visiting me. Her 2 year old kept calling my H and I "the kids" which was making us laugh. It was really encouraging to see my H playing so well with the 2 year old. It reassured me that he will be great with our babies once I get KFTU! My BFF also has PCOS and she gave me a bunch of her herbs and oils that she got from her herbologist and she got KU without medical intervention this time. So onto the oils! If anyone is interested in what they are, I can share some of the links she sent.
CS/Q: Nothing really. 5 temps above my cover line, but weird that I have had majorly sore boobs since I O's. Typically I get soreness exactly 6 days before AF. Not sure whats going on in my body.
GTKY: Do you have more friends that are guys, girls, or an even mix of both? I always was friends with more boys. I couldn't take the girl drama and emotions! As I have gotten older and girls matured, I have a really good close group of girls that I love, but definitely relate to boys when out having fun on the town. Good thing my H is confident in our relationship and he has never questioned me or doubted me.
@KhRun17 I can completely relate to the H baby'd by MIL. He has no idea how to do chores and doesn't notice mess or dirty unless I specifically say...clean your pee off the toilet before guests come. I have also found a system that works. If I write things I need done down on our white board in the kitchen, he will do it, but if I write it down on a piece of paper, it doesn't ever get done.
@ColoradoHiker Sorry for CD 1. Be nice to yourself today
@AngelaPlus3 So sorry for your struggles.
@lund I switched to natural deodorant a few years ago because to be honest, I never needed deodorant until I got off BCP! However, I only use natural, and I have found that I only need to use it during certain parts of my cycle. Definitely during AF... FU body, as if I am not already broken, you make me stink too..

@hupp0013 The time changes has not gone over well at my house either...
@angelaplus3 my first cycle after our loss was weird too. It was a long cycle, I had 5 days of positive OPKs and wasn't temping and the whole thing made my brain hurt. I am so sorry for your loss. I know how it creeps up out of nowhere and slaps you in the face. Hugs.
@starla @wabash15 sorry for the bfn today.
@coloradohiker sorry about cd1. Fx this is your last time in WTO
Month/Cycle: 4/ 2AL
CD/DPO: 27/ 10
Timing: was good
Testing: peek pact tomorrow
R/R: it's Monday... my son has swimming lessons and I need to grocery shopping and all of it falls right within nap time. we live half an hour from town so I have to keep him awake on the drive home which is awful but I really need him to nap at home so I can catch up on paperwork.
CS/Q: highest temp I've seen this cycle today! I don't know why but I feel good about this cycle... guses we will find out tomorrow.
GTKY: Do you have more friends that are guys, girls, or an even mix of both? I definitely have more close girlfriends. I worked in an industry with very few girls and have a lot of man friends as well but as for who I hang out with, my girls win.

@wabash15 That's crazy about your job! Can they find an additional person so it's not just 2 of you?
@angelaplus3 I'm sorry for your loss. My first cycle post loss was definitely a weird one but I hope you figure out things soon.
Guys I am pretty sure I don't belong here. My chart is a total mess - so much for traveling and DST not making a huge difference. But I spend like three weeks out of each cycle in WTO so I'm not going back yet
Month/Cycle: 6/6
CD/DPO: 23/5 according to FF
Timing:
Testing:
R/R: FF took away CH yesterday and then gave tJen back today?! WTF. I'm hoping I can get some solid temps in the next few days and make sense of this madness.
CS/Q: let me just leave this here:
GTKY: I have more female friends. We do have some couple friends and male friends from college, but I'm a girl's girl for sure.
