Nausea during stims

Uggh, I am feeling SO sick right now. I'm on day 8 of stims and this is my 4th IVF and I've never felt sick like this. Everytime I eat I instantly become so nauseous and it will not go away. Has this happened to anyone else?

this is my first IVF and for the first few days I had blinding headaches and nausea but it's calmed down now. I now have an almost complete lack of appetite so smoothie king and shakes have been my best friend. Hope you get to feeling better!

@taradise99 - do you have a lot of follicles. I didn't feel super sick my first fresh IVF but this most recent time I had mild OHSS and found as my ovaries felt fuller and fuller I felt more nauseous. Hope you feel better soon. Be sure to be staying super hydrated. fx for you.

@oxinfree I think I have a normal amount-my baseline showed 22 follicles, when I went yesterday they saw 11 measurable, the rest were small, she also said my e2 was not super high, so she seemed confused as to why I was having these symptoms. She said most of the time with OHSS you feel ok until after the trigger...They changed my next appt to tomorrow instead of Thursday though to check everything and maybe see what is going on.

@taradise99 When I was stimming for my first IVF (fresh) cycle in the summer, I started to feel really sick as well a few days after I started my Gonal and Menopur injections. I got really nauseous and felt so full after eating... Like the food just wouldn't go anywhere or digest. I was up all night, feeling so full, sick and feverish. I actually vomited a lot that night too. It only lasted for one night and I didn't have OHSS, so I don't know what was going on. I'm not sure if my body just needed to get used to everything or if my nerves had me all worked up because I had never done IVF before and didn't know what to expect. Either way, I hope you feel better soon.

@taradise99 - well I'm glad you're going back in. I definitely increasingly felt unwell, and felt my worse after trigger true, but I did also feel crummy beforehand. I also had about 22 follicles that they could see (I think I had a few more in actuality). I'm not sure on your frame, I'm very small (a size 0/2) and so as the eggs grew I felt like they were bursting out of my body. I think everyone reacts differently, and numbers aren't always an indicator. The fact that your e2 levels were normal is perhaps more important (and a good thing), but like @joneser1281 said, maybe your body is just getting used to the meds etc. I hope you find some answers and feel better soon.

@taradise99 This is my first cycle, but I've noticed that I don't have much of an appetite and I feel full. It's a weird feeling. Hopefully I don't get any nausea as I get closer to trigger. Hope it gets better for you!

Thank you @DDRGirlie... I feel a lot better today, so hoping it stays that way. I'm sure you will be fine, my other cycles I did not feel nauseous at all. I think the "full" feeling is normal, its just all the follies taking up space in your ovaries:)
