GTKY: What preparations do you have left before the baby comes? Mainly we just need to buy diapers and a changing table pad. The nursery is completed, all of the clothes/blankets are washed, the hospital bag is mostly packed, the car seat is installed. The only "big" items left to buy are a stroller and a baby carrier - and neither of those will get used right away.

Still need to wash pretty much everything and pack the hospital bag. DH installed the car seat and is having it inspected today. I ordered some things we were missing off of our registry last night but I think there are still some things we need (most notably, diapers).
GTKY: What preparations do you have left before the baby comes? Uh...everything. I need to re-arrange my nursery area and buy a whole lot of stuff I didn't get at my showers. And wash everything. And buy organizational stuff for everything.

GTKY: What preparations do you have left before the baby comes? Need to get a carseat, crib mattress, and pack n play. I still have two work showers (including one today!) where we will probably get gift cards, so I've been waiting until they are done before doing the big shopping spree w/the registry completion coupon

GTKY: What preparations do you have left before the baby comes? install car seat, finish packing hospital bag (I'm still using most of the stuff I plan to pack), try to figure out the breast pump thing, get baby lotion/body wash and a grooming kit, order a glider from Amazon, random nursery decor still needed.
QUESTION: I don't have any family or friends in the area and my work is throwing me a small shower tomorrow and taking me to lunch. I'm having EXTREME anxiety. I just saw that a couple of small things were purchased off my registry (I didn't ask for gifts or give anyone my registry info, I guess they just googled it, I thought it was just a lunch with maybe a gift card or 2 from someone). I'm so embarrassed and I feel extremely awkward and guilty. I'm planning to pick up some thank you cards and keep close track of what is given, I just feel very awkward receiving gifts and being the center of attention. I don't know what to do with myself. I feel like people are coming out of feeling sorry for me or out of obligation and I feel bad that they felt they had to buy a gift.
HSG - All clear, ectopic kidney didn't affect uterus (yay!)
CT Adrenal Scan - no tumors!
SA - sperm count excellent, 2% Morphology
March/April IUI scheduled - surprise BFP w/ help of Progesterone - 3/18/2016

We should be getting our completion coupon from BRU this week, so we'll just have to pick up the rest of our necessities that we didn't get at the shower. I also need to finish packing my hospital bag and writing the thank you cards while I still have time!

34 weeks!
18 inches and 5ish pounds
Tomorrow we have a checkup and then next Friday we have another growth scan. LO was measuring small so they want to make sure she's growing okay...even though she feels ginormous.
Im ready to be done. I just want my cute little baby in my arms. I'm tired of hurting, being irrational and people staring at my stomach instead of my face when they talk to me.
She had bruised my rib cage and every time she kicks it feels like a knife. Youchies! Also, I still just want soda.

I need to wash and organize her clothes, paint the trim around her door and install the car seat. We have another shower on the 15th so I'm trying to hold off buying any gear we still need until after that just in case we get gift cards!

Upcoming appointments? Tuesday. Will be talking about possibly scheduling a RCS as I need an end date, and E isnt being helpful.
Rants/raves/questions? I'm sitting in my bed watching L play with the puppies. Its awesome! ButI forgot how much H needs babysat. Everylight on the 1st floor was on when I got up, and the oven was still on.
Symptoms/cravings/aversions? Heartburn has been bad this last week. I drank 3 gallons of milk in 4 days justbtrying to be able to sleep. Also these prodromal contrax are a bitch, and Im sondone with them.
GTKY: What preparations do you have left before the baby comes? I have to figure out where L&E will each sleep. L still sleeps with us, and I don't have the heart to move him out of my bed, but there isnt room for him and a newborn.

GTKY: What preparations do you have left before the baby comes? GAH, everything! This question gives me such anxiety! I have a work shower & a friends shower coming up, and they can't get here fast enough. As soon as we're past them I can order everything else from our registries and just hope it gets here before baby girl does. In the meantime we're still working away at the house construction.
GTKY: What preparations do you have left before the baby comes? Um...lots of stuff. Still need to do all my FMLA and disability paperwork, get our bedroom set up for the baby (won't have a nursery until some renovations that we're getting done in Jan/Feb), etc.
GTKY: What preparations do you have left before the baby comes? We're still waiting for some big items that others have bought to be shipped. On our end, we need to get a few more diapers, a few more plain onesies, and some bottles and pacis.
GTKY: What preparations do you have left before the baby comes? The nursery is being painted as we speak by my mother. Next weekend my dad and FIL are coming over to help assemble the crib, glider, and to hang the pegboard (along with winterizing projects). Then my mom is returning the following weekend to help with final deep cleaning. We have to do our completion shopping from our registries since we received next to nothing that we need. Goal is to have everything done by the end of November so December we can focus on meal prep, resting, and mentally preparing for the big arrival.

Today, my OB had an intern and surprised me with the GBS swab....I had way too many hands in places I did not want them...I guess it's practice for delivery? The fact they kept apologizing was making it awkward
I *think* I lost part of my mucus plug today...I've been told it could mean something or nothing

My "work shower" was today and it went ok! I got enough gift cards so that I was able to order the glider that wound up being only $30 after all the gift cards applied! Lunch was on the company's dime so at the very least everyone got a free lunch so that was very nice

GTKY: What preparations do you have left before the baby comes? Just putting in the car seat. DD likes to crawl/walk across the seat to put herself in hers, so we haven't put it in yet. Otherwise, nursery is done, clothes are washed and we are stocked on supplies. Oh, and I need to sanitize bottles and breast pump parts. (thanks for the reminder)
