We will be paying $550 a month w/ a 4000 out of pock max. for the family. Seems like a lot.
Add that to the $2,200 we will be paying in a daycare + student loans, and things are going to be tight with two kids! Sorry my posts are always about insurance and money, but I would love to know what other people are paying.

Like PP said insurance varies greatly by where you live, the type you have, how many people are on your policy, and so many other factors.

Children are like casseroles; it takes a lot to mess them up.
I feel for for those of you dealing with open enrollment and the marketplace right now. I can't imagine paying $500 a month for health insurance. That's rent for some people!
Anecdote: My fiancee and I both get the same exact insurance plan from the same exact insurance company through our work (at different companies) and we pay wildly different amounts for co-share due to the fact that our companies pay different amounts of the premium.

I just wanted to know how our prices compared to other people's plans and just wanted random input from others... I just think it's ridiculous that we will be paying so much for health insurance and I wanted to see what other people are getting. I'm frustrated that in our fields, we don't get better insurance coverage.
