Hi Everyone,
As I posted in the weekly multiples post today we were having our anatomy scan for the quads. The anatomy scan took about 1 1/2 hours and the babies cooperated very well! everything looks excellent but we do need to go back in two weeks because we couldn't get all of the facial shots needed on all babies due to their position. we were able to get excellent clear images of the their hearts and other organs which all look perfect. We were also able to determine the genders! Baby A is boy, baby B is a girl, Baby C is a girl and Baby D is a Boy! although this still does not seem real to me I am very relieved to know that all are healthy and growing and so very thankful. I hope you all enjoy these updates just as much as I do!

DS2 due 12/12/18
Also, I'm super impressed at their cooperation and yay for perfect clear shots of organs!--my singleton pregnancy took 1 1/4hrs for my scan because babe would not cooperate. Hopefully your kiddos are just as helpful once they arrive!! ; )
side note** saw a beautiful Facebook photo a mom of quads posted of her four kids graduating from high school together--taking about how 18yrs ago her doctors tried to convince her she should elect to carry only two or three-but now she has four beautiful, smart, and can't live without kids

@kjd291 I saw that Facebook post as well and it gave me inspiration! We were given the talk of selective reduction by two doctors who stated that carrying one or two would be easier and safer but there was no way we could ever decide to reduce. we were blessed with these babies and decided to see what our journey with four would be and whatever the outcome. We now have 4 healthy babies still continuing to grow and I couldn't ask for anything more! we never imagined this would ever happen to us!
@kap1988 I honestly haven't thought much about a nursery yet! since we just moved back to NH we are staying with family until we find a house big enough for us all (which is proving to be quiet the task!) I am completely overwhelmed with everything that we need for the nursery and want to start purchasing items but so hard to buy without knowing what kind of space we are working with. For now we are focusing on the immediate things we would need for when they come home such as diapers, bottles, pack and plays, cars eats etc! The latest date I will deliver is 2/21 and the babies will most likely be in the NICU untill their due date(4/4) so I have hoping by the time we bring them all home we will be all settled and nursery set!
I have a two month old at home I can't imagine how insane it would be to take care of four at the same time, I barely make it out alive at the end of the day with just the one. Will you have people with your and your husband to help? I hope it will all go well for you!
