Morgan for a boy?

My daughter suggested it and it's a family name. Opinions? I think I like it better than any names we've come up with.

I think it's sweet that not only is it a family name but that your daughter thought of it. As long as you're ok with a unisex name I'd say go for it. I mean it doesn't blow my skirt up or anything but the personal connection in your case is a definite plus.

My daughter's name is Ryann (pronounced just like Ryann) which is also a family name so I definitely don't mind unisex names.

I have only met female Morgans, so that's my initial association. But if you're ok with a unisex name, I don't mind it on a boy. It definitely sounds masculine to me.

The first person that comes to mind is Morgan Freeman, so I associate it as a boys name. I like it and think its sweet that your daughter thought of it.

I like Morgan a lot. It also reminds me of Morgan Freeman but more importantly, Morgan from TWD. Who is a total badass, BTW.
