Did you or will you have an appointment this week? 2 actually. Anatomy scan on Monday and a check in this morning.
How did it go / what are you looking forward to? It went really well. Baby is healthy and growing well. Still showing a partial placenta previa, so that stinks. On pelvic rest and exercise restrictions (I can walk and do yoga) until they check it again at 32 weeks (which would be the last week of January). So that really sucks, but I'm glad to have a healthy baby.

What are you looking forward to at your next appointment? Nothing much, just a check in
GTNY: the absolute best thing about being pregnant ? Loving all the little kicks right now. Can't wait for DH to be able to feel it. I'm trying to fully enjoy it before they become uncomfortable.

Did you or will you have an appointment this week? Had an appointment on Monday
How did it go? Brought 14mo DD with me and everything made her cry: the blood pressure cuff, the flu vaccine, the doppler... you would have thought she was the patient.
Raves & rants: Didnt LOVE this midwife. She's one of 5 in the office who may deliver LO... so 3 out of the 4 I met I LOVE, and I can handle just liking this one. We went over my Ultrasound, the doctor that reviewed it recommended a follow up around 32 weeks to check on growth, but my midwife and I are choosing to go against the recommendation and simply use the good old measuring tape to keep track of growth -- if that shows there is slow growth, then I'll go get another ultrasound.

What are you looking forward to at your next appointment? Having DH with me for the first time all pregnancy to see the office, meet the midwives, and our tour of the birth center afterward!
GTKY: the absolute best thing about being pregnant ? Other than the usual answer: kicks. I'd have to say the guilt free eating... i still have days i feel like a pig and regret my choices, but not at all as much. Bring on the pizza and treats!
Did you or will you have an appointment this week? Wednesday 11/2
How did it go / what are you looking forward to? Everything went well. They must have been running behind because I had to wait 30 minutes before getting called back. Quick appointment, just me and the doc. No med student this time. He did question me on whether I am eating enough. I lost about 12 lbs in the first tri due to nausea and have yet to gain any of it back. But baby is measuring right on track (actually said the uterus is where he would expect at 20 weeks) and the heart beat was a strong 150 bpm. He said not to worry too much, as long as baby is growing, that's what matters and that some women just don't gain a lot themselves. I'm not thin but definitely not big...pretty average size for a woman, I think, so I'm okay with how it is going. Oh, and my bp dropped to 108/60 but they assured me that is normal in pregnancy. This would explain some dizziness I have had recently.

When is your next appointment? AS on 11/16 and another prenatal appointment 11/23
What are you looking forward to at your next appointment? Seeing our little guy! Haven't seen him since 10 weeks and I'll be 21 weeks at the time of the AS.
GTNY: the absolute best thing about being pregnant ? The excuse to nap. lol. I am not a huge napper to begin with but man, I am exhausted all the time. Taking 30-45 mins to just lay down and relax is HEAVEN.

How did it go / what are you looking forward to? The appointment went great, everything went perfect. Have the anatomy scan this morning, and got love the pictures
Raves & rants: it was so cool being able to see everything, the only kind of rants I have is that I wish she would have explained more what she was looking at during certain parts.

Have you announced yet? We're only announcing the gender to friends and family via text, not posting online or anything

What are you looking forward to at your next appointment? Just looking forward to making sure everything is healthy and still looking good
GTNY: the absolute best thing about being pregnant ? My hair looks the best its EVER looked!! And I'm not gonna lie, I'm kind of loving that people want to do everything for you when you're pregnant
Did you or will you have an appointment this week? Anatomy scan yesterday
How did it go / what are you looking forward to? went really well. Baby was stubborn and laying on his or her belly the whole time, so it was difficult for dr to get a full look at the heart...but EVERYTHING looks great! Long legs and long arms. We'll find out the sex next weekend at our reveal with our parents and close friends.
Raves & rants: nope...all went well
Did you get an ultrasound? TV or Ab? Both actually....because of the baby's position they couldn't get an accurate measure of my cervix, so we did TV for that. Quick and easy for that part.
How far along are you? 21w 2d

Do you know the gender(s) yet? next weekend! Can't wait....envelope is sitting on our table.
Have you announced yet? yep....well not the gender...but everyone knows we're expecting.
When is your next appointment? 11/17 for regular checkup
What are you looking forward to at your next appointment? hopefully still all good
GTNY: the absolute best thing about being pregnant ? I am one of the lucky ones who feels pretty good, and has since the beginning. I guess the best thing for me is the reward of the baby after TTC for 1-1 1/2 years. Can't wait to meet the LO in March.

Did you or will you have an appointment this week? I had my anatomy scan on Friday
How did it go / what are you looking forward to? It went ok. I found out that the baby is a SHE so we are super excited. During the anatomy scan, she was moving all over the place! After the scan I spoke with the doctor and she said that they are concerned with her heart. They want me to see a High Risk specialist for another ultrasound this week to do a more in depth sonogram and make sure everything is ok. Has anyone experienced this? I am trying not to worry but it is so hard not to...
