Any new symptoms or changes?
Some constipation may be starting. Yesterday was a little rough in that regard but I am praying it was only yesterday.

Rants/Raves/Questions?
**TW** Trying to stay positive about next week's appointment. Even though I have had 2 textbook pregnancies, all I can seem to remember is the m/c and going into that ultrasound room and hearing, "Oh no sweetie, I don't think baby made it to 10 weeks..." and then seeing the image of the baby with no hb on the screen. It plays over and over again in my mind until I figure out how to shut it off. Ugh.

GTKY: Do you work outside of the home? Do you plan for that to change after baby comes?
I work full-time and I will continue to do so after a 12w maternity leave.

Hi everyone I'm new to Wednesday per my u/s. Travelled back in pregnancy time, hoping everything stays on track from here out.

How far along are you? 7w

How big is baby? Micro chameleon (looks cute, never heard of it before)

Upcoming appointments this week? 3 weeks from now

Any new symptoms or changes? Not really new, just like 99% of food is an aversion. Even Guac most recently which kills me. I had this aversion in my last pregnancy too.

I do. Not going to change even if I wanted it to, I'm the breadwinner and carry most of our benefits, my company is good to me. I'll take my leave and go back.

The neausa was kicked up a notch and I'm having aversions now where if I even think about it I feel wicked sick.

Rants/Raves/Questions?
I'm so excited for tomorrow's U/ S and finally telling my family.... although it appears I'll only get to tell my mom and sister in person since my dad is being a jerk and won't come up with them to see me as they had already planned. DH and I fly out the next day for a week and I don't think my mom can keep it secret long enough for me to get back.

GTKY: Do you work outside of the home? Do you plan for that to change after baby comes?
I work full time as a wildlife necropsy technician and would love to continue working but I don't think it's a feasible option. The baby is due right in the middle of our busy season where I have to be available to fly out and leave for days at a time with 3-- 4 hours notice. I may have to find a more " stable" job.

Any new symptoms or changes? Nothing new, still nauseous

Rants/Raves/Questions? How far along do you have to be in order for the Dr. to use the fetal Doppler? I wonder if in my next appointment they'll use it. I'll be one day shy of 11w.

GTKY: Do you work outside of the home? Do you plan for that to change after baby comes? Yes, I currently work outside the home. I am trying to get rid of most of my debt in order to stay home with the kiddos. But I think I'll be back to work after the summer.

Any new symptoms or changes? i'm noticing my skin is getting really dry, especially my lips and in my t-zone. i'm so tired and achy, not crampy though i don't think - my AF cramps have always been terrible so this is nothing compared to that. i'm also getting hormonal if you know what i mean; i started crying yesterday because DH didn't buy me a pizza when he went out and then he got upset with a friend of ours over dinner reservation plans. and i'm not a cryer at all; that's DH's job.

Rants/Raves/Questions? why is housing in LA so expensive? how does anyone afford it? we're looking for a bigger place because we barely fit in our 1bd without the LO and it's so stressful. my DH is terrible at anything related to finances so that means it's my project.

GTKY: Do you work outside of the home? Do you plan for that to change after baby comes? yep. luckily DH works 4 days a week, so he's home 2 weekdays. i'm hoping i can work from home for a little bit after my paid leave ends and then 1 day week once we're ready to put the LO in daycare. i like the idea of encouraging it to be social so daycare 2 days a week doesn't seem so bad.

How far along are you? 9w based on last period - Although today's u/s showed fetal age as 8w5d so I might be moving to another day after my midwife appt next week. And the u/s showed us another surprise: there are two in there!

How big are babies? Cherries!

Upcoming appointments this week? Next Wednesday is my first midwife appointment. I'm excited to have a MW this (second) birth. I didn't even see my OB when I was at the hospital my entire 6 day stay (2.5 to be induced, 3.5 for DD's jaundice), so I'm pretty much over modern medicine's shitty job of taking care of childbirth.

Any new symptoms or changes? One day I have so much morning sickness, I go home sick from work. One day I'm fine. Huge rollercoaster here. Oh! But I noticed I'm losing less hair already and I had to use the hairband trick for my jeans today.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Would it be weird for me to start a bump thread already? Haha. I took a bump pic today, but you can't tell it's anything yet. But I bet in a couple weeks, I'm popping out already.

There goes my plan to tell people at work the first week in December.

GTKY: Do you work outside of the home? Do you plan for that to change after baby comes? I work as a project manager for a bank, and I'm trying to transition to supporting us as a self-published author before I go back from mat leave. I'm in Canada, so I will try to take the full year, but with the restrictions and cutoffs, I will only have 25% of my income. It will be tough, but I will try. My DH is a SAHP, so that's good, but I kinda wish it was me.

Upcoming appointments this week? I had my first u/s last friday (went great) and have another next Friday before graduating to my OB. Nothing this week.

Any new symptoms or changes? Just worsening symptoms across the board. I've been terribly sick this week. Damn morning sickness, fatigue and headaches are making life difficult. I haven't been posting much as I just feel like hell and find myself losing all motivation to do much of anything outside of curling up in a ball at home.

Rants/Raves/Questions? All the newly announced pregnant women at my office are loving life (none claimed having morning sickness or any real negative symptoms). I'm stank eyeing them.

GTKY: Do you work outside of the home? Do you plan for that to change after baby comes? The annoying ads all over this website? Guilty. I'm an online marketer (aka professional stalker). Baby #3 will most likely join DS and DD at daycare when the time comes.
