How big is baby? An artichoke, and also apparently a tall Frappuccino
Appointments this week? Nope - anatomy scan is 11/17
Symptoms? Some back pain and round ligament pain. Still feeling rib pain from tweaking something in a coughing fit 1.5 weeks ago. Other than that I'm mostly back to normal-ish.Still not really feeling Nugget move which I'm trying not to worry about (OB said 19-21 weeks was normal for FTM).
Rant/Rave/Questions? I just wish my anatomy scan was tomorrow! I'm so impatient and so impressed with all you Team Green-ers.
GTKY: Do you or your significant other have any unique/quirky habits? I bite the skin around my nails, which I hate and am trying to stop (I used to bite my nails badly so this was a replacement behavior). And DH burps more than I feel a normal human being should, hahaha!
Still feeling achy, but got my sex drive back. Thank goodness. I also feel like some days by uterus is growing faster than my stomach and it's going to explode. Does that make sense?
Rant/Rave/Questions?
I'm so glad Halloween is over. No, I'm not listening to Christmas music...yet.
GTKY: Do you or your significant other have any unique/quirky habits? We pick on each other a lot. Pranks and such. People think we act more like brother and sister rather than husband and wife. I think it's because we have known each other as kids, so that's how we "play." I wouldn't have it any other way.
How big is baby? The size of a large order of fries (yum!) or a pomegranate (also yum!)
Appointments this week? Nope; nothing until next week.
Symptoms? Still not much...some breast tenderness and fatigue. I'm starting to wonder if there's anything actually in there, haha. Maybe I'm just getting fat from not eating great and exercising as much.
Rant/Rave/Questions? It's time for my favorite holiday....THANKSGIVING! Stop encroaching, you crazy Christmas celebrators... (Don't get me wrong, I love Christmas too, but I firmly SHUT DOWN all Christmas nonsense until the day after Thanksgiving!)
GTKY: Do you or your significant other have any unique/quirky habits? I mean, we're both pretty intense weirdos...I can't think of anything specific, haha.
Appointments this week? Nil. Anatomy scan is next Wednesday. I'm excited but scared for it.
Symptoms? Energy has come back. I'm productive again! I feel pretty good. Just some aches and pains when I wake up in the morning. I'm pretty sure I can feel the little guy moving in there. Feels so awesome and weird.
Rant/Rave/Questions? I guess I'm now on board with cloth diapers. I had a dream about them this week, spent hours researching them and then made a thread on them. Weird...
GTKY: Do you or your significant other have any unique/quirky habits? My DH and I get along very well because we joke a lot with each other.

@schef070911 I chew my cuticles too! It's such a bad habit. It drives my DH crazy. TBH the best thing that I've done to help me stop is get regular manicures. I don't want to mess up my mani so I don't pick and chew my hands. It can be an expensive treat but not having hands that look like I was mauled by a squirrel is also a blessing. I actually haven't had one in awhile and my hands look awful.
Appointments this week? Yes! We got to hear the baby's heartbeat so it's still in there. I also got the okay to take baths and lay on my back so I'm a happy camper. And I finally got the nerve to tell her I want a natural birth. She didn't seem to have a problem with that but I could tell she became suspicious when I said "doula". She seemed to be worried that I am really crazy crunchy, which I'm not...well I kind of am but DH isn't at all so we balance to "not crazy crunchy".
Symptoms? I am feeling pretty good, which is such a wonderful blessing.
Rant/Rave/Questions? My MIL surprised me with a shopping trip and bought me a ton of maternity clothes. I am the worst shopper so having her help was really wonderful.
GTKY: Do you or your significant other have any unique/quirky habits? When I fly, I bring Wet Wipes and wipe down everything: the seats, the buckles, the tray/table, the side of the plane etc. I started doing it because I got sick whenever I flew, now I don't look sick but I do look like a germaphobe.
Appointments this week? Had the anatomy scan on Monday but they couldn't get a clear shot of everything so we'll be back again on the 11th. Found out I also have an anterior placenta so probably why I'm not feeling too many movements yet.
Symptoms? Feels like the kid is going through growth spurts. I'll go for a day or two with nothing and then be knocked out for a few hours with different pains and hormones. I've also lost my appetite for everything - Breakfast in particular.
Rant/Rave/Questions?
GTKY: Do you or your significant other have any unique/quirky habits? We've been together for pretty much ever. We have so many inside jokes that it would be hard to explain just one here. We are definitely in the hipster demographic however. This weekend we started another batch of homemade hard cider that should be ready right around April.
How far along are you? 18 weeks - almost half way, eek!
How big is baby? Sweet potato I think is what the thing said. Or artichoke according to the app.
Appointments this week? Nope, anatomy scan in two weeks
Symptoms? Lots of stretching aches and pains the last couple days and just a really sore back
Rant/Rave/Questions? Um, not that I can think of off hand right now.
GTKY: Do you or your significant other have any unique/quirky habits? I am somewhat ocd about having dishes left in my sink. 9 times out of 10 I can't handle it. Especially before I go to bed at night I need my dishes either washed and in the drainer or put in the dishwasher and my counters wiped down. Idk, maybe that's not that quirky. My DH has a "unique gifting" of being able to put his dirty clothes right BESIDE the hamper on the floor, but never in it. I know, I know, super talented hubby I have! Sorry I can't think of anything more unique or fun for either of us right now - I'm tired!
@mylittleirvz I wish I was more diligent about getting rid of dishes in my sink before going to bed! And yes, DH also has a habit/"gift" of thinking everywhere in our house BUT the clothes hamper is a clothes hamper. (He changes clothes during the day for after school practice so he always has laundry coming home and 4/5 times it ends up near the front door!)
@mylittleirvz, I am the exact same with dishes in the sink. I cannot stand them!! As soon as i see them I have a strong desire to clean them. Sometimes I can't even wait for DH to clean them. I can tell it annoys him sometimes but I just can't help it!
