Seriously WTF to my staff... this is the 3rd wednesday in a row that she's essentially had some mass crisis in life that prevents her from coming into work on time. Sorry but at this point I just really doubt that one individual can have such awful luck only on wednesdays.
For example, I left the office at 6:15 last night and she was chipper and completely fine. Apparently between then and 7 am she was in the hospital for severe pain but still decided to come to work today (won't take PTO) but has a flat tire on her car. Sigh... it makes me feel like a true witch (if she's truly that sick, my suggestion was to stay home) but seriously... I guess I should just know that wednesdays just aren't her day!
WTF to my DH and my babysitter. DH didn't have to work until 12:30 pm yesterday, and when I got home at 5 I walked into a disaster! Trash overflowing, dirty dishes in the sink, dirty laundry everywhere, etc. I don't expect our babysitter to clean our house, however she leaves her dirty dishes everywhere (including used tea bags on the counter or still in the cup) and dirty diapers in the crib. And DS was still in his PJ's (I set out clothes for him everyday). I don't want to have to clean up after the two of them, on top of everything else. To top it all off, I have had a nagging headache for 2 days.
@M&Max we have a lot of people do that here, coming in instead of calling-off when they are sick. If you're truly sick to the point where you can barely keep it together, then just stay home instead of infecting the rest of us! It is pretty weird that it's every Wednesday for her, I wouldn't feel bad for being suspicious, I think anyone would be.
I know I've complained about this before but I am dying. My poison ivy is not going away. My OB was not concerned about it as it just has to run its course and won't harm baby, but I'm tired of waking up extra in the middle of the night besides waking up to pee, because I'm so itchy I scratch myself awake! It's spreading all over my legs and stomach. Anybody have any tried and true remedies? I'm just using calamine lotion for now.
Thank you @schef070911! I guess I'm grateful it's not happening during the third tri. So I'm moderately miserable but not as miserable as I could be. Haha.
@HGRich Aveeno makes a baby bath soak that might help. It's primarily oatmeal and some other stuff to help. I used it when I had hand, foot and mouth last month and it seemed to help ease the itching. I get it in the baby section at walmart, but I'm sure lots of places sell it. They also make a not baby one but I've never used that one.
@HGRich , I will second the oatmeal baths. I had a girlfriend in HS who got a really bad case of poison ivy. I remember her saying she got home from school and sat in the bath all night. I think Lush makes an oatmeal bath melt.
Panic attacks.... I've never had them before and now every time I try to go to sleep, BAM! Start to feel like I can't breathe, feel like the walls are closing in on me etc. WTF! I just wanna sleep!!
@HGRich there is something over the counter called Ivarest that I always recommend to my patients to help with the itching. We have to special order it, but I bet Walgreen's or Wal-Mart would have it. Hope you feel better soon!
@HGRich what about aloe lotion in the fridge? Sounds miserable...
WTF rando coworker telling me every time I see you that you are praying for me to have twins. No, just no.
Also, WTF is up with having to shave legs!? I swear I've gotten hairier since being pregnant and I just want to give up. It's too hot here still for pants every day. I suppose I could just be the hairy teacher. Maybe it would scare my students into behaving better....

@cafedisco I've always gotten hairer with my babies. Gotta love those hormones. I'm shaving my armpits like every other day. I am so glad it's cool where I like now! But if I'm itchy and poking through leggings it's time to shave! Lol
Wtf to my own hormones, I can smell myself and that's just not right. Ugh to my own BO, yuck!! I need stronger deodarent
W the everloving F to the douche canoe who busted out my car window to steal my purse while I was at a painting party for a friends baby sprinkle. Like what dude?!? I hope you enjoyed the crumb filled mess you swiped!! You need Jesus and also a swift kick in the nuts.
@Mama5181 I'm so sorry!!!!! That happened to me one time, its so frustrating! it was my moms purse that was stolen out of my car. I hope you get everything straightened out without too much headache. Also I remember I was finding little pieces of glass in my car until the day I traded it in... that stuff crumbles and goes everywhere!
@cafedisco I'm pretty sure I stopped shaving the second the Dr. said I was PG, and I don't care if DH thinks it's gross. It's a hassle, and I just don't wanna deal with it, especially now that my bump has grown. I never wear shorts or skirts anyway. So the only people who know are me and him and like I said I don't care what he thinks. He's stuck with in sickness and health and hairy legs.

@jfochtman that sounds great actually. So does the aloe @cafedisco. I need to look into both. Something's gotta change.
