Has anyone heard of an ob only removing one tube completely and not the other!!!

I got my tubes tied last week (the day I delivered) and I just received a call from the ob who preformed the surgery to tell me that I need to have a dye scan done on my right tube because he doesn't believe he removed it completely!!! Wtf how do you not remove the whole tube on one side??? Needless to say I'm a little pissed off that I have to find someone to watch my 4kids so I can have a procedure done to find out if I need surgery again!!!

    That is frustrating for you!

    Silver lining is at least the doctor admitted a possible mistake and wants you checked instead of a surprise baby?

    This! I'm sorry you have to go through that.. as its the last thing you have time for right now! but like jmama said... better your doctor fessed up now than when you show up at the office wondering why the heck you're pregnant again! hope you don't need additional surgery and this is just your doctor being overly cautious!

    @jmama1611 @leig I'm extremely thankful he called me instead of finding out the hard way for sure! It's just frustrating Im already having a tough recovery so I can only imagine what's going to happen after....
