Are you doing anything this week to prepare for your baby's arrival? I'm allowed to leave the house for parenting class, because it's sitting for two hours and it's at the hospital. This week starts infant care and I know NOTHING about babies so I'm looking forward to it. Also my shower is this weekend so I'm really excited! I'll feel so much better once we have the bases installed in both cars.
Rants / Raves / Symptoms / Questions: Bedrest is officially taking a mental toll and it's barely been a week. Otherwise my contractions are much better with bedrest, so it pays to stay in bed/on the couch all day. Weirdly I've lost weight, but I'm hoping he's gaining like crazy in there! My boobs are sore AF and heartburn sucks. Also feet in ribs and head on bladder are a bad setup.
When's your next appointment? Monday with my OB for another FFN swab. Then an ultrasound on Tuesday to check cervical length and his growth.
GTKY: What is your favorite baby purchase/gift so far? I bought the sweetest elephant mobile on clearance at PBK. Sometimes I like to just sit in the nursery and play it.

29 weeks! baby is the size of an acorn squash!

This coming Saturday we have our all day baby class. instead of 6 weeks on a weekday night, we are doing it all day Saturday. Unless my back feels better (more on that later) I can't imagine evening being able to concentrate.

Third Tri is a grab bag of terrible symptoms. I have had this terrible backpain (below the shoulder blade) for the last few days. DH confirmed that there is a huge knot in that area that needs to be worked out. DH makes me feel like such a whimp, he is like I ALWAYS have back pain, just deal with it. Tylenol doesn't even help with the pain, the only thing that feels good is getting up and walking. I have a massage booked for tomorrow, normally massages kinda creep me out, but I'm in so much pain I am looking forward to it. My doctors don't really provide much help. All they did was give me some stretches that don't really help much. In addition to that, I have had problems with TMJ forever, It isn't terrible and i deal with it. I have a bonded retainer and part of it came off, because of this I had been favoring one side (the left side with the worse TMJ problems) until the retainer got fixed, I got it fixed yesterday, but the damage was already done with chewy candy last night.. Pregnancy related or not, but it was so bad this morning my left ear was all stuffed up from the inflamed TMJ. It has fixed itself and I can hear clearly again. But man, I am so sorry for having a good first and second trimester, the pregnancy gods are taking their wrath out on me for the third trimester. the aches and pains are so bad I don't know how anyone functions these last 3 months. All I want to do is jump in a hot tub and let the jets go to town on my muscles. Thanks for letting me vent.

Probably the stroller that SIL gifted us. It is used, but it is a kick ass Britax B-ready stroller, and it is super nice.
28 weeks, size of an eggplant. He is opening his eyes in there not and just getting bigger!

Still sorting through my sons baby clothes to decide what if anything we need to buy. Also created a registry last Friday so we can get the completion coupon and the grandparents had been asking.

the tailbone pain is awful. Sitting up straight seems to help it, but then baby starts kicking my ribs and head butting my cervix. I end up reclining to ease that and the back pain instantly comes back. Terrible cycle! I scheduled myself a birthday massage for Thursday morning so hopefully that helps!

i love the little brother outfits we bought when we found out he was a second boy. Also in love with the cloth diapers I've gotten since we didn't start our first in cloth until 7 months, I can't wait to see him so little in the cloth diapers!
29 weeks, movement has slowed down a lot, still feeling him wiggle around and the other night I swear he was trying to escape from my belly! But he's super mellow these days.

Class begins, DH is nervous to start them but I'm excited and hoping more knowledge will make me less nervous about giving birth....hopefully?? Lol

Sooooooo tired of my tingling arms, the chiropractor and wrist splints have made me able to sleep at night but it never actually goes away. Was hoping the cold weather would help reduce swelling and alleviate the tingling. But I guess if this is the worst I get, I'm happy!

oh man the clothes! We recently returned some clothes we got at the shower and exchanged for different sizes, I keep staring at them getting excited for his little body to be in there!!!!

our double camera monitor. I already started using it for DD and I love switching it to see the baby's crib. Can't wait until he's in there.
31 weeks. I'm loving that baby girl is responsive to my voice now.

I'm sorting through hand-me-downs and shower gifts to determine what we'll keep. My husband, however, was the lucky recipient of a nesting induced honey-do list. I had him painting and building today. When he talks to my belly he tells her it's all for her.

Omg the hip pain. Yesterday I could barely walk and when I told my OB I got the frustrating response of "oh that's normal." Ok I understand that it's normal and I understand that my connective tissue and ligaments need to loosen for me to be able to push a small human out of my pelvis, but can you please tell me how to make the pain go away?

she is way higher than my first was and so breathing has been tough. The shortness of breath and restlessness are getting out of hand.
