Double Chin

Ok, so I was at my heaviest when I got pregnant (160) and have gained 35 pounds now near the end of my pregnancy but from about 12 weeks I have had the most insane and huge double chin imaginable. I'm wondering if this is permanent or just a feature of pregnancy. Any experiences from others would be greatly appreciated.

    When I was pregnant with my first my face became super round. A few months after having babe my face looked back to normal.

    It might be a combination of weight gain and puffiness from the baby; either way, it should dissipate the further postpartum you get. Personally, I don't swell or get puffy during pregnancy (at least not so far), I am however excellent at gaining close to 70-80 pounds consistently, so I do end up with a double chin that makes me horribly self-conscious for the last month (right now). When I lost the weight, I lost the chin, if that gives you any frame of reference and I anticipate the same thing happening, but time will tell!
