    Symptoms?
    Definitely getting more round ligament pain and starting to feel what I think MIGHT be movement? But it also might be gas? It's hard to tell as a FTM!
    Rant/Rave/Questions? 
    Rave - anatomy scan 2 weeks from tomorrow, I CAN'T WAIT! I'm so excited to find out the sex. I'm going to be so bummed if the baby isn't cooperative! I have no preference whatsoever, I just want to know because I think it will start to feel more real once I know. 
    GTKY: What is your favorite holiday and why?
    Definitely thanksgiving! I love the food, love getting together with family and just relaxing. And there's no pressure to buy gifts or spend a bunch of money, which is why I find Christmas so stressful now.

    Appointments this week? Unfortunately, yes.  I got a phone call Sunday night that my Sequential screening came back abnormal.  We had a level 2 ultrasound and consultation with an MFM today.  Blood work shows the baby has a 1 in 10 chance of Downs.  Ultrasound shows a perfect little boy with absolutely no markers.  I took the QNatal test yesterday, and I'm seriously considering going back next week to have amnio.  I wish these blood tests came back faster, but I guess now that everyone can get it it takes even longer to process.  The whole situation sucks.

    Symptoms? Peeing when I coughing, and dry heaving from coughing.  Gotta love having a cold.

    Rant/Rave/Questions? Anyone know if cough medicine is allowed?  I need to do something soon - it's keeping me and DD up at night, and I can't be peeing myself every hour at work...

    GTKY: What is your favorite holiday and why? Used to be the 4th, but my family got rid of our house on the beach and now it's not the same.  Then it was Thanksgiving, but it's just not the same with the in laws. Easter is my favorite now.  I love having my whole family sitting around the table to eat hot food, going to church with my parents, and everyone working together to find eggs outside.

    Nope. 2 weeks to the anatomy scan. We know it's a girl, but I really want to know she's ok in there. 

    Symptoms?
    Ms is gone during the day still rough at night. Tried to stop dyclgis and that was a no go. Peeing at night is out of control!! I'm sure I'm feeling movement it's just so different from what I remember from DD

    Im so frickin tired all the time! And I thought there was supposed to be a 2nd tri libido boost, where's that at???

    GTKY: What is your favorite holiday and why?
    Hands down Christmas! Especially now with kids. So much fun shopping and wrapping. The joy when they open gifts!! And I love having our family all together.

    Appointments this week? The OB my midwife referred me to wants to see me tomorrow and I have my monthly bloodwork appointment on Friday

    Symptoms? Just the usual SPD fun lol

    Rant/Rave/Questions? I'm really happy I got accepted with my first choice of OB. She delivers at an amazing hospital and is very pro empowering women and giving options.

    GTKY: What is your favorite holiday and why? Christmas! it just feels so magical and I love all the baking and lit up trees <3

     Yep, cough syrup is ok. Specifically, the active ingredients Guaifenesin and/or Dextromethorphan are fine. Generally, you want to get the basic versions of these medicines, not this plus that, nor long-lasting versions. So, basic Robitussin or Mucinex. I had a killer cold during my first pregnancy that lasted, no joke, over 8 weeks. It was hell, and I'm pretty sure I went through 3 whole bottles of Robitussin and a box or two of Mucinex when all was said and done. Cough drops should be fine, too. Fingers crossed your cold goes away quickly!

    Edited to add: Good luck for your extended testing. Hoping everything comes back normal for you and your little one.
