How many weeks? 34 weeks

What size is baby? Butternut squash, large bag of chips

Upcoming appointments? Next Friday is the first of my weekly appointments and my first cervix check.

Rants/raves/questions? I'm in a weird mindset where I'm totally ready for him to come but also hope he stays in until his due date, I'm sure others can relate.

Symptoms/cravings/aversions? I've been having a lot of pelvic pain/pressure lately. Mainly when I stand up after sitting down for a long time at work. I need to start getting up more during the day and walking.

GTKY: What are your Halloween plans? We're going simple this year and just staying home to hand out candy.

What size is baby? Um, not sure. I'll update when I can see my ticker. (Edited: okay, pineapple!)

Upcoming appointments? My mom is going to check me sometime in the next week or so, while I'm home.

Rants/raves/questions? Nothing baby-related. I'm just a little annoyed because I'm currently sitting in the O'Hare baggage claim area post redeye waiting to be picked up by H's mom, who just left and is at least 3 hours away. We've been here for 2 hours. This is all because H insisted on taking a Frontier flight instead of our usual Southwest. It gets worse: I have to drive the 3 hours home myself while he flies straight to Phoenix with his parents for his grandma's funeral. We just came from Vegas. If we'd been on Southwest, we would have changed our tickets and this situation wouldn't even have happened. Arghhhhhh.

Symptoms/cravings/aversions? Nothing notable. Jabs from the baby, back pain.

GTKY: What are your Halloween plans? Not sure! Probably stay in and hand candy out to the kids, since we're staying at the in-laws'.

How many weeks? 35

What size is baby? A pineapple or a bunch of carrots

Upcoming appointments? Midwife check in tomorrow, then weekly check ins and NSTs. Blah. I wouldn't mind so much if it wasn't at two different places in the hospital - it's impossible to get the appointments on the same day so I'm missing a lot of work. I'm very lucky that my boss is being flexible with my hours - I don't have much vacation time saved up, so every hour I take now is an hour of unpaid leave after the baby comes.

Rants/raves/questions? My rant today is the cute gray maternity tights I bough have zero support and are already kind of sagging. I feel like even the panels in my maternity pants provide more support, so I'm just a little uncomfortable today - my bump feels like it's bouncing around!

Symptoms/cravings/aversions? My swelling doesn't look bad, but it's causing carpel tunnel in both hands. They are super achy in the morning, and will go tingly and numb if my wrists are anything but straight. I'm sleeping a little better this week, which is such a welcome change - last week was pretty rough.

GTKY: What are your Halloween plans? No specific plans, we'll probably just stay home and hand out candy. I'm hoping it's a slow year like last year so I get some good leftovers.

Happy 35/35 @gowenc!

How many weeks? 34 weeks. 35 days left si ce I have a RCS at 39 weeks. What the what?!?!

What size is baby? The size of a butternut squash, Tim the Minion, or a baseball glove.

Upcoming appointments? OB today.

Rants/raves/questions? I'm starting to stress because we still have so much left to get. Plus, people (MIL, my mom, etc) have promised to get us the big items, minus the crib, and have yet to come through. That means we have no idea when we'll get the car seat, changing table, dresser, and what not.

Symptoms/cravings/aversions? Pelvic pain, BH, tired so much more cause I'm not sleeping great.

GTKY: What are your Halloween plans? Turn all the lights off and not do a dang thing.

What size is baby? Pineapple? I'm guessing length and weight maybe.

Upcoming appointments? Today!!!! If I get walking maybe it will be my last one.

Rants/raves/questions? I havent had a decent night sleep in about a week. Stupid 1 and done contrax.

Is anyone else worried that their scans showed the wrong sex? We were always told 'well I don't see a penis/scrotum' so now I'm nervous that E is actually a boy, and I wasted all that $ on girl clothes.

Symptoms/cravings/aversions? Just contractions, and waiting to see if they regulate.

GTKY: What are your Halloween plans? We are taking L to FIL's work Monday afternoon. IDK how/why as he doesnt need any candy at 15months, but H is soo excited.

How many weeks? 35...but measuring 36 weeks so I'm predicting he may be a little early...or he'll be a chunky baby.

What size is baby? a bunch of carrots? wtf

Upcoming appointments? had one on Monday along with the bacteria test so I'll find out the results next week. Weekly appointments from here on out. I also have started going to a chiropractor (best decision ever, really helped sciatica and lower back pain) and getting a deep tissue prenatal massage today. Thanks FSA!

Rants/raves/questions? I realllyyyyy need some clothes (as I mentioned in my post). I'm really bad about not putting my needs first from time to time. I have 0 leggings, 1 pair of capri yoga pants, 1 maternity sweater, 1 maxi skirt and 1 pair of full panel maternity jeans. I feel like a hobo. I have 5 dresses that I've been wearing to work this entire 3rd trimester that still fit (2 are maternity, the others are empire waist), but they're not something you would wear out on a regular day.

Symptoms/cravings/aversions? Everything I eat comes back up because baby is pushing on my stomach. So gross. All I want is ice cream cones, orange juice and water.

GTKY: What are your Halloween plans? DH works nights so my plans are to turn the lights off downstairs and pretend I'm not home. LOL.

Rants/raves/questions?

We we have had a small bug problem lately where we would see about one roach a day, after the exterminator came out last month. We keep a really clean home, granted it is an older home, but it was very frustrating! So I looked up a nice boric acid treatment. I haven't seen any bugs today which is a yay! But I'm paranoid about the powder in the house now. Haha I know it's crazy since we're not snorting it or touching it, but I can see it in a couple corners and it freaks me out.

Symptoms/cravings/aversions?
A lot of BH and cramping. I've also been a little light headed the past few days...and I really just want some soda.

GTKY: What are your Halloween plans?
We don't really celebrate Halloween, but we do go to an amazing fall festival that I look forward to all year long. DS has a blast!

@Kate08Young I have had the fear that DD will actually be a boy too! We've checked twice, but still. Our nursery is Cinderella blue so at least we're good there :-p

@Kate08Young umm I'm super nervous that this baby is actually a girl haha. It's pretty irrational because the A/S was very clear - I think it's because a lot of the things we have are very "boy". That and we never really had any girl names picked out in the first place. I bought an expensive decoration that is monogrammed - so if the baby is really a girl her name will have to start with an H!

What size is baby? Jicama (Mexican turnip) or a Napa Cabbage

Upcoming appointments? Bi-weekly appointment tomorrow morning. Will just be the routine check up.

Rants/raves/questions? I am tired of guests contacting me about their not being able to make it to our shower on Saturday, the invite clearly told them to contact my friend. Also, nothing has been purchased off of our registry besides the few items we have already received from people unable to attend (pack n play with sheets, umbrella stroller, one set of sheets - then what we've purchased: car seat, jogging stroller, crib) - so I am starting to freak out about how much we will have to get in the upcoming weeks!

Symptoms/cravings/aversions? I am starving all the time, but I don't want to eat because of the fiery acid reflux that I get no matter what I consume or how large or small it is.

GTKY: What are your Halloween plans? We are having a Halloween themed shower on Saturday. DH is going as Darth Vader, and I'll be the Death Star. Then on Monday I have my friend coming into town to visit for a night or two while she's traveling, so we will be getting pedicures after I get out of work and then passing out candy/meal prepping.

@karmba Ours wasn't very clear. Like the best shot we got was ankles crossed close and butt. The pic looked very, very similar to L's. He just had something sticking out. So I'm a bit panicked that maybe we missed something. Oh well, we have a boys name pocked out and everything from still from L.

@AbriannaO Sometimes registries don't get marked off. We had Amazon for L and even things that I bought from it didn't get marked all the time. I think someone was having issues with Target or BBB a few weeks ago.

Also, maybe people checked out your registry and found the same item cheaper somewhere else.

How many weeks? 35!

What size is baby? Some weird melon I've never heard of

Upcoming appointments? I had one this week. Everything is perfect except the baby is still breech. I have an ultrasound next appt (in 1.5 weeks) to confirm positioning and then we'll discuss if an ECV seems like a reasonable idea or if I'll just be scheduled for a C section. My OBs office is being flexible in that they said the section can be scheduled anytime between 39-41 weeks if I want to give baby lots of time to flip, but they will not try to deliver him vaginally if he's breech so if I go into labor and he's not head down I will end up with a C section.

Rants/raves/questions? Nothing much except kind of stressed about this breech baby. I don't think he has ever flipped to head down (it's not like he's flipping back and forth) so I'm wondering if there is a reason why he's stuck like this. I feel like I've tried tons of spinning babies stuff, ice, music, light - pretty much everything online and nothing seems to be working.

@Kate08Young - DH and I have definitely discussed names for a girl just in case this baby isn't really a boy!

Symptoms/cravings/aversions? Baby is chilling in my ribs which is not cimfortable. Still having back pain but PT is helping.

GTKY: What are your Halloween plans? Nothing. I live in the city and trick or treating is an arranged thing and happens on the (safer) street behind us, which is closed to traffic. So we don't get trick or treaters. I have not heard about any parties but probably don't have the energy to put something together anyway. We are going to a labor and delivery class on Sunday, which is totally unrelated to this question....

@Kate08Young we are thinking that people are likely just buying it elsewhere. I just like to track things and predict how much we will be spending/what coupons apply to what for when we go and do our completion shopping. BUT, someone did buy this really soft snuggle blanket I was really wanting, so I am getting SUPER excited to be able to have snuggle days with the creature when it arrives!

GTKY: What are your Halloween plans? Taking DD around the neighborhood, though I will probably only last the first couple blocks. DH is in charge of her after that, as I will be relaxing on the couch. I had a dream, that my water broke on Halloween, so we will see what happens...

Symptoms/cravings/aversions? I have been sick this week with a stomach bug, then woke up this morning with what felt like a UTI and some cramping. Called my OB and they recommended that I come in to verify if it was a UTI and to be put on a fetal monitor due to the cramps. After monitoring they decided to send me to L&D triage for IV fluids bc I was having contractions which they thought were probably due to dehydration from being sick. I went to the hospital and got 2 liters of IV fluids and my contractions finally slowed enough that they sent me home. Now I'm just resting through the weekend. Not how I imagined today going, but I'm glad I got to come home and this little one will cook a little longer!! What a day!!

GTKY: What are your Halloween plans?
Not much now, we'll probably stay home so I can relax.

@Pgh_Kel Yikes! Rest up! Also, every time I see that 32 week ticker pumpkin I think it looks like the Halloween candy pumpkins. Which would be absolutely tiny for 32 weeks!

How many weeks? 32

What size is baby? TB says squash (~3.75 lbs), but MW measured fundal as "right around 30" so maybe she's smaller? She was a couple days behind at the anatomy scan, but I have GD, so maybe she's caught back up? Every week I want to answer this question with "I have absolutely no idea"

Upcoming appointments? Met with a new practice this week, and am happy to be switching. It's a bit later to switch than I am comfortable with, but I really think I am going to prefer delivering with the midwives more than with the OBs who didn't have time to answer my questions. And the MW group wants me to have a 3rd tri US, yay!

Rants/raves/questions?

Symptoms/cravings/aversions? Stress - figured out why my knuckles hurt when I wake up. I've been clenching my fists while I sleep. Guess the attempted house break-in last Friday shook me up more than I admitted.

GTKY: What are your Halloween plans? Staying out of traffic! It can be bad here.

I'm late to this...as always...even though IRL I'm always early for everything

How many weeks? 35 (+2 today)

What size is baby? a small childs backpack?

Upcoming appointments? nothing until next week and then I think it is weekly appointments after that

Rants/raves/questions? I thought I was doing well at getting ready for her to be here but every day I feel like my list never gets smaller and I can't find the motivation to do a lot of things...I laid down for a 30 minute nap the other day and woke up 3 hours later
Also @Kate08Young I have that same fear!!! we're pretty screwed for clothes if she comes out a he

Symptoms/cravings/aversions? I really want a spinach rip'n dip (the sour cream based spinach dip you eat with a pumpernickel loaf).... movie theatre popcorn sounds good too!

GTKY: What are your Halloween plans? while I wasn't allowed to decorate this year (DH didn't want to pull the decorations out of the attic for some reason) so I bought some dollar store décor to throw out after. I'm hoping the weather is nice and I can sit outside while handing out candy.
