Happt Friday ladies!! I haven't been this happy to make it to a Friday in awhile so I thought I would start the Randoms tonight. What's everyone up to this weekend? Chat about it here!

We have to get together with my MIL and husbands fam for her bday tomorrow afternoon and we have a kid Halloween party and an adult Halloween party tomorrow evening. I will most likely just attend the kid one, I am so not up for the adult on this year. Sunday we are going to a Halloween event at the FL aquarium and I am really excited because I think the kids will love it.

Happy Friday!! DH'' s bday is tomorrow and I'm throwing him a surprise 007 party since he's turning 30; I hope it goes well and will be a biy of a relief when it's over: it's tough keeping a secret from him! It'll be worth it though.
My family is coming up to visit as well, so I look forward to hanging out with them as well. We plan on telling them this upcoming Thursday as long as everything looks good after the ultrasound.
I feel like the keeper of secrets this month. I'm exhausted. How do people stay employed as spies?

@devow27 I hope MSU can pull off an upset and win it!! I have a friend is a Michigan fan and who keeps hating on FSU's losses and I would loveee to give him a hard time tomorrow!

Taking DS (16 months) to a nearby trunk or treat tonight. He is going to be an astronaut! Then, I'll probably fight DH for the candy he collects since he's too young to eat any. Have to write a paper for class tomorrow on the medical management of male impotence that's due in a week, although I'd much rather sleep and take DS to the park or something.

@FSUNole31 I'm remaining hopelessly optimistic. We will see. My dad, brother, sister and BIL are all Michigan fans...so if they win tomorrow I'll NEVER hear the end of it!

Edit- to add, it's at Spartan stadium too so we HAVE to win! If Michigan wins on our turf it will be years of pain! Haha

I'm sick with bronchitis and an ear infection right now and I haven't slept more than an occasional nap in the past 3 days. Wahhhh!!!

I wanted to take my little man to the pumpkin patch this weekend but I don't think I can hack it. Also, I have legit nerves about the FSU game tomorrow and I'm sad I can't enjoy an adult beverage to take the edge off.

tl;dr - I'm whiney.

@thatlauragirl I am trying not to think about the game yet! My husband will be at a Halloween party so at least he won't be here with his yelling a swearing stressing me out even more. I usually have to watch games like these in a different room. I hope you feel better though!!

The Clemson/FSU game should be a good one. I'm planning to relax and watch it since my team already has their win for the week and won't be playing tomorrow. I know this won't make me very popular here, but Go Hokies!

I had the opportunity to see Temple Grandin speak today. I came home and watched her movie... my pregnancy hormones are in rare for I cried so much my DH threatened to turn it off because I had him tearing up. If your not familiar with her she is said to be the world's most famous person with Autism. Her story is amazing. Her movie is free on Amazon Prime. Other than that hoping to start cleaning out the babies room... it's full of junk and it may take 9 months.

DH and I are both working nightshift tonight so we will be sleeping the morning away until lunch tomorrow. I'm thinking we will do some type of day date aka make him take me out for lunch. Tomorrow night we will be watching the Clemson/FSU game. It should be a good one. Sorry @fsunole31 but we will be cheering for Clemson. I'm with @mrsw524 when it comes to teams...Go Hokies! They shouldn't have had to kick that many field goals but it was still a good game!

Helping Teens make outfits for Pink out at the last Varsity game. Dealing with Teens sleepover drama.

The rest of the weekend should contain pumpkin carving, DH building gates on the side of the house and maybe a local Halloween event.

My one year old starts swim lessons on Saturday!! I'm trying to decide if I want to take him to the zoo in the afternoon as well or if that's too busy of a day for us. Then Sunday we are putting him in he toucan Halloween costume and parading him around to his grandparents houses.

We we have an incredibly busy weekend coming up next weekend so I'm trying to decide how adventurous to make this weekend.

DD has swim class tomorrow followed by my work awards dinner/ Halloween party
The Boss comes to town for said party (and will stay all week so CUE EYEROLL)
Sunday will be pumpkin carving, week prep, and a local trick-or-treat event

Slowly waking up now, and about to exercise my right to vote! Hoping to avoid the weekend rush for early voting. I still have not found a top for family pictures, so that has to happen. Going to make an appearance at a birthday party, and then rush home. Ending the day with family pictures at 6:00. Exhaustion will hit hard tonight.

Absentee voting makes me so happy. There is also a major election here in Iceland today and I'm seriously hoping the people don't choose the same idiots as before. I can't vote though so I can only hope. Also, pizza for lunch.

It's my call weekend so I'm working. I'll be out in time to make it to a pumpkin carving party/fire with my son's friend's family. We need pumpkins ourselves and have been too busy to do it, it must happen this weekend. Also need to get a hat for my middle kiddos fireman costume. I thought we had like 3 but I can't seem to find one. I really could use a do nothing day.

Same as last weekend. Babysat last night then homework all weekend! I will probably need nap breaks though. Might go to dinner with friends tomorrow if I feel like eating real food.
At least babysitting a 2 year old and a 3 1/2 month old gives me a glimpse of what it will be like in a few years!

Love all the college football chatter.

I am recording 3 noon games UofL@UVA(go cards!), UK@Mizzou(uh, go, uh cats?), UM@MSU(go spartans!), and will watch the clemson@fsu(idk, but imma need clemson to lose another div game if they lose this one) tomorrow since I have Halloween parties to attend. I am also recording the 3:30 UW@Utah (go utes!) But dont know if i will do more than have it on in the background while i get ready for tonight.

So, I guess I'll have to avoid these boards too (spoilers here?!?) 'til I'm caught up.

@NurseSHS13 I'm so glad to see another Hokies fan. You're right about the FG situation, but at least we have a kicker reliable enough to pull that off. Plus, I was just happy to see a win in Heinz Field, which I'm pretty sure we've never had. I remember going up there for a game when Pitt and VT were both in the Big East and it didn't end well at all.

@thatlauragirl I stayed up way too late to watch that terrible ending. We put up a good fight though,
the refs were pretty terrible...I thought Jimbo was going to explode at one point.

Ugh, it was a heartbreaker. I really thought we were going to pull it off. The refs and the o line were abysmal. Poor Francois is like a tackling dummy.

We spent the day with my family yesterday. My nephew's football team had a play off game, then we took him and his little brother to a few Trunk or Treats.

We are supposed to go to H's mom's this afternoon.... he is only off every other weekend, so we always see my family on Sat and his on Sun. There are not enough words to describe how much I don't want to go. I feel bad, because we see my family more anyway, but I'm already thinking of ways to get out of it.
