Does this website (primarily the forum side) make anyone elses computer run s-l-o-w? It makes my Mac at home run the fan really loud and then it slows down my work computer so much. So annoying.

    Yes, absolutely! My (new-ish) computer only ever runs hot & loud when on this website. I think it's all the blinkity-blinkity gifs and streaming ads down the side. My phone seems to work better because a lot of that stuff is blocked out. My computer has actually crapped out twice this week (super odd) and it was when I'd been on this site for some time. I agree it's annoying. But I can't stay away either.  ;)

    That odd since its just a website. I haven't had any issues refreshing the May 2017 page for new posts except for the other day when the site was down for at least a couple hours.

    I was wondering if I was the only one!  I hate this site, honestly.  I'm not nearly as active as I'd like to be because it's just too much of a pain the ass to read and respond to posts.  I have to try and stop any video ads I see that start running because that really slows things down.  My phone is probably worse right now - frequently whatever thread I'm reading will crash the site.  I have a crappy Windows phone though, so there's that.

    I haven't had any issues with either my personal computer. Although, my work computer does run slower and constantly says that my comments or love its can not be submitted.
