I'm thankful for my great team at work! We had our weekly meeting yesterday and everyone just hung out in my office socializing for another 20 minutes afterwards. It's so great to be part of a team that gets along so well
I'm thankful for an office full of younger professionals with families who "get" that things happen. Dean is up here with me today for two hours having a ball with the guys I work with.
I'm thankful for MH, who works so hard so I can stay home!! And not only does he work hard, he goes in so early to get home for dinner almost every night.
I'm thankful for my 2 hours of quiet time this morning since both kids are at school and I don't have any projects, meetings, errands, etc. that need to get done.
I'm thankful for my 3 healthy children. That I've been able to stay home for almost 2 years now. Thankful to be able to be pregnant one more time even if I am an old lady
Thankful that my husband is so understanding about me being tired. He's a first time dad (this is my 2nd) and he gets it! Can't wait to be out of the first trimester, I'm almost there!!
I'm thankful for MH, who has been feeling like crap these past few days, but yesterday went out and, without me even mentioning it, bought me my favorite sandwich for dinner from my favorite store that was closed on Sunday when I really wanted it. Also for not taking offense a few minutes ago when I inquired about dinner he made a suggestion and offered to cook and I replied, 'to be honest, absolutely nothing sounds appealing right now...'
I'm so thankful for my 6yr old ds. I took him to a trunk or treat party last night and I thought my heart was going to burst watching him run around with his friends. Being his mommy is the best gig ever.

@Assiram42 that is good news! Do you think you'll luck out and avoid the HG this time? How early did it kick in with the girls?
I'm definitely hoping to luck out this time. I only had HG with Kinley and it started pretty early and lasted until they induced me at 38 weeks. The other girls I managed with Zofran, but I'm trying to avoid it this time because I think it played a role in their (Kinley and Ella's) seizures. With Cam, my m/s wasn't that bad.
I'm thankful for my amazing DH. He has really stepped up with DD during this stage of pregnancy. Nausea and exhaustion have been kicking my butt and he's been so great about letting me nap for a little bit with no interruptions. Love him!
I am thankful that I was accepted as a midwifery client today!
My region has a huge demand for midwifery care, a shortage of practicing midwives, and because they are under our health region, they have certain selection criteria and demographics that they must meet each month. So you basically win when you get selected.
@flyingncmama I read an article that said Taco Bell has the
healthiest food of all of fast food because of their Cantina and Fresco
menus. I usually get the Cantina Power
Burrito or the Cantina Power Bowl, and they’re both really good. Maybe Taco
Bell doesn’t have to be a guilty pleasure anymore!
I'm thankful for bartenders who play along so that no one realizes you aren't drinking!
We had a team building peddle party/pub crawl last night (which was pretty awesome/uncharacteristic of my team, since I do HR for a major oil company!), and every bartender gave me a mocktail so no one suspected a thing!
@tjvan I totally feel you on this. I'm in the O&G industry too and we definitely like to drink at our functions I had to do this on Monday night at an event.
