    Starting Weight? 225

Current Weight? 212 - another pound down

    Goal Weight? 200

How did you do with your goals last week? I think I did okay. I gave in a couple times to temptation but I don't think it undid any weight loss. We will see though.

How are you feeling this week? I am feeling pretty good. I'm noticing more energy in general and all around better feeling.

Fitness and Nutrition Goals for the week? Limit the amount of cookies and junk food I eat (didn't so so well last week)

Any challenges you're facing this week? Saturday is the home opener game for the Admirals Hockey season and DH & I will be there..... love stadium food :/

GTKY: Have you done any cleanses (or other weight loss fads) in order to "jump start" your weight loss? I attempted a 30 day military diet challenge or something like that a year or so ago. I lasted 1/2 a day.

I also wanted to give a high five to all of us working to better ourselves in terms of health and weight loss. From what I've seen during last week's check in, you're all doing awesome!

Edited to add my current weight.

  • Starting Weight?  High

    Current Weight? Not as high

    Goal Weight? 175

How did you do with your goals last week?  Pretty good, still haven't gotten to a class but going to the gym 5-6x a week.  It helps that DS loves going to the child watch at the Y.  He motivates me to go!

How are you feeling this week?

Great.  Down almost 15 lbs in 5 1/2 weeks.  Making better food choices has been easier too

Fitness and Nutrition Goals for the week?

Just gym, water, fruit and just better choices all around.  Hoping to now take walks around the block at lunch since it's not 100 degrees

Any challenges you're facing this week? HALLOWEEN.  Nuff said - got a few trunk or treats this weekend w DS

GTKY: Have you done any cleanses (or other weight loss fads) in order to "jump start" your weight loss?

Juicing.  Love it actually but it's so damn expensive and I hate cleaning the machine

    Current Weight? ??

    Goal Weight? 130ish

How did you do with your goals last week? I got my 3 workouts in( two were running and one was a super long walk with DH)

How are you feeling this week? other than trying to get my SS out of my head during this tww, not too bad!

Fitness and Nutrition Goals for the week? Not eat all the halloween stuff this week!

Any challenges you're facing this week? I am baking some amazing brownies for DH's work, and I just cant eat them!  We also bought our halloween candy, so I have to resist!

GTKY: Have you done any cleanses (or other weight loss fads) in order to "jump start" your weight loss? No, but mostly because Im scared to try.  sad excuse but I get so worried that Im going to hurt myself with one thats not safe or something.

  • Starting Weight? 2.5 pounds heavier

Current Weight? 2.5 pounds lighter than two weeks ago!

Goal Weight? LT: 50 pounds lighter, ST: 10 pounds lighter

How did you do with your goals last week? Good! I'm doing Weight Watchers and I tracked every day and stayed within my points. Hit four pilates classes and got in at least one day of 10,000 steps (hey, I live in LA. It's hard!)

How are you feeling this week? Good! Just starting TWW, but not feeling BSC. Yet.

Fitness and Nutrition Goals for the week? I'm traveling, so not going to try to stick to my points, but I am going to track. I'd also like to work out at least once while I'm traveling and then again when I get back.

Any challenges you're facing this week? The aforementioned traveling, but I'm hoping the eating will be at least partly offset by more walking than usual!

GTKY: Have you done any cleanses (or other weight loss fads) in order to "jump start" your weight loss? Lasted one and a half days on the Master Cleanse and did an agonizing juice cleanse a few years ago.

  • @RVAmom315 - Yay for being down 15 pounds! That's awesome work.

@littlebug2010 - GL not eating the brownies. That's one challenge I would not succeed at. I am worried any weight I lost on the WL fads would come right back. I prefer the good old fashion way.

@leilac - Where are you traveling to?

How did you do with your goals last week? just got home from vacation last night, weigh myself and gained no weight!! Even though I didn't lose any weight this week I consider this a huge victory being that we only had a mini bar fridge in our hotel room so no room for healthy food and had to eat out for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for 5 days straight! I did a lot of walking there and made all healthy choices to offset some of the alcohol consumption lol. Glad all the hard work of dieting didn't go to waste!

How are you feeling this week? I'm feeling good, ready to get back into meal prepping and the gym

Fitness and Nutrition Goals for the week? get back to the gym and meal prep for the week

Any challenges you're facing this week? not particularly

GTKY: Have you done any cleanses (or other weight loss fads) in order to "jump start" your weight loss?  I have in the past but I always wound up unhappy as I'd lose a lot up front but gain i back when I'd start eating again. I've done Isogenix and ultra clear, lost weight with both but wasn't long term.
  • @beachbunnyxo123 that's awesome!  Gaining no weight on vacation is nearly impossible - yay!

  • @SaphireSweetie88 @SaphireSweetie88  yay! You are doing great! Good luck at the hockey game (I'm jealous I love hockey).  I always have to eat before I go to avoid the stadium food. :)

@littlebug2010 I LOVE brownies. So I feel your pain there. We bought our Halloween candy this weekend also and I told DH to hide the bag when I wasn't looking.

@leilac  I have heard San Francisco is such a beautiful city. It is high on my list for places I want to go.   Great job on your 2.5 pounds that's awesome! Also good luck on your TWW, fx for you.

@beachbunnyxo123 Great job in that you are halfway to your goal and not gaining weight on vacation. That is always a struggle of mine (and I usually lose). Keep up the good work!

    Starting Weight?  195

    Current Weight? 185

Goal Weight?  First goal 175 Eventual goal 145

How did you do with your goals last week?  I didn't really set any.

How are you feeling this week?  I am feeling much better this week. I am positive and back to being motivated to get that number down.

Fitness and Nutrition Goals for the week? Walk at least once everyday, Yoga at least once, and at least two classes.

Any challenges you're facing this week?  Just the fact that I have been binge eating crappy food so now that's all I want.

GTKY: Have you done any cleanses (or other weight loss fads) in order to "jump start" your weight loss?             No, I have always been skeptical of them and have seen them as a short term solution.

    @beachbunnyxo123  - I would call that a definite win!

@Sglen3 - Thanks! I try eating at home but I still end up giving in at the stadium. There's just something about nachos and cheesecurds.

  • @SaphireSweetie88 congrats on the pound down, I'm sure a few treats at the stadium won't undo any hard work (I live by the 80/20 rule - good 80% of the time, chocolate menace 20% of the time haha!) so enjoy the game!

@RVAmom315 wow what success!! 15lbs is amazing, and getting to the gym so regularly! Bask in your own glory I think.

@littlebug2010 your GTKY sounds really sensible  and something I worry about too. What a shame to cook brownies for other people and not get to enjoy yourself boo

@leilac Sounds like you did brilliantly with your goals last week - hope SanFran is a blast. I love the colourful houses there (not that I've seen them in person, but they're always stunning on TV)

@beachbunnyxo123 Hope you had a wonderful time on holiday, especially without gaining anything - what an achievement!

@Sglen3 Glad to hear you're feeling better, best of luck with your goals this week

    Starting Weight? 73kg/161lbs

    Current Weight? 68kg/149lbs

    Goal Weight? 60kg/132lbs

How did you do with your goals last week? I didn't set any last week (I forgot to post but was reading all your successes!) do to a hectic schedule, but I think I can be pleased with my eating choices and absolutely bossed it at the gym on Sunday.

How are you feeling this week? Ready for action!

Fitness and Nutrition Goals for the week? Minimal snacking (e.g. just one "non meal" foods per day), gym 3 times for an hour each session. I would also like to get my sprinting time to 2 minutes on the treadmill.

Any challenges you're facing this week? Trying to be home from gym/work in time for BD, but otherwise nothing major (so no excuses!)

GTKY: Have you done any cleanses (or other weight loss fads) in order to "jump start" your weight loss? Nope, not a big believer in cleanses as I need to do something I can do forever or won't do it at all, but not opposed to them in principle (as long as they're not dangerous at all of course!)

  • @SaphireSweetie88I recently (like 4 months ago) stopped using My Fitness Pal to see if I'd "learned" anything and whether I would do OK without it, and I actually did pretty well! I'm keeping it on my phone for any future slips as it's great for getting my on track when needed. Hope it all goes well for you - it's surprising how much of the info sinks in to use in everyday life.

Yes it is! They say if you do something every day for a month then it becomes like a habit / second nature so fx I will be just fine without it.
