How far along are you? 8 weeks - this will totally change by my first appt, but for now we will go off my LMP.

How big is baby? A raspberry

Upcoming appointments this week? Nope and I'm okay with that.

Any new symptoms or changes? My waves of nausea have turned a little more intense. Also, I go back and forth with having exhaustion or insomnia at night.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Happy to be here another week.

GTKY: are you doing anything for Halloween this year? Do you like to dress up in costume or not so much? We will take the boy out Halloween night and that's about it. My school is celebrating on Friday of this week(we are all going to be cats), because we just can't start a week with a party. This is my least favorite holiday to be a teacher.

Upcoming appointments this week? A pregnancy confirmation appointment on next Thursday the 3rd... even though they did an ultrasound at my problem appointment from Monday...

Any new symptoms or changes? Nausea and vomiting, pretty terrible, but now on diclegis and hoping to round the corner.

Upcoming appointments this week? Friday I have my first ultrasound and hope to graduate to my OB!

Any new symptoms or changes? Just worsening fatigue and morning sickness. Major food aversions kicking in now and I think I'm surviving on saltines, dry cereal and potatoes. Not sure how I can still be so damn bloated.

GTKY: are you doing anything for Halloween this year? Do you like to dress up in costume or not so much? My kids daycare is celebrating Friday. We're taking the kids to Santa's Village this weekend for a big Halloween event. On Halloween DH and I will take turns taking them around our neighborhood. I don't expect our 11 month old will last long, but she just likes being pulled in our wagon. I don't plan on dressing up other than wearing a witch's hat. DH has a full on outfit though.

Upcoming appointments this week? Yes! Yay! First appointment with my RE next Tuesday.

Any new symptoms or changes? Not really, having a few more waves of nausea but it's still not too bad, and I have been very tired the last two days.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Really hoping that having an appointment will help me relax a little about whether everything is moving along as it should. Not having all that many symptoms has me all worked up.

GTKY: are you doing anything for Halloween this year? Do you like to dress up in costume or not so much? No big plans! The first year we lived in our house I bought all this candy and was so excited that we finally lived in a neighborhood with kids and then we had no trick or treaters! I was so sad.

Upcoming appointments this week? I had one Monday and Tuesday. Monday was an orientation. Basically just getting my base weight, blood pressure and filling out paperwork. Tuesday I met with a dr about my history and got an ultrasound scheduled next week.

Any new symptoms or changes? Nausea is here. Boo. I was doing good just being exhausted.

GTKY: are you doing anything for Halloween this year? Do you like to dress up in costume or not so much? We have stuff all weekend. But on Halloween I'm being a zombie. We walk around the neighborhood dressed up with our Friends and their kids. It's always a fun time.

How big is baby? The US tech said something yesterday about being less than 2mm. So TINY.

Upcoming appointments this week? Another ultrasound for dating next Tuesday.

Any new symptoms or changes? The nausea struggle is real. Thank god for the peppermint candy, I'd be lost without it. I also feel like the fatigue is starting to set in, which I've never experience before

Rants/Raves/Questions? Just so happy that things are going well and I'm still here. After multiple losses this year, I'm more than thrilled to have a "textbook" pregnancy so far with crazy symptoms.

GTKY: We usually go all out and dress up and throw a massive Halloween party. This year we're having a few friends over to watch scary movies and will pass out candy to kids in the neighborhood.

Rants/Raves/Questions? If all goes well at my appt tomorrow and there IS actually a baby, I'll tell my mom since we're spending the weekend together and that would normally involve wine. But I'm not motivated to get a cute shirt or anything for DS so it will be a boring reveal.

GTKY: All the shops/cafes on our street are doing a ToT thing earlyish on Monday so we're meeting up with friends in the neighborhood and taking our kids to that.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Ugh rant here. I just found out this morning that my OB is moving at the end of December and I need to try and find a new doctor. I may have sobbed when the nurse told me this morning. I just love my doctor and I've been seeing her for years. So now I feel like I'm going to be scrambling to find a new doctor that is going to deliver at the brand new hospital instead of the old outdated one.

Upcoming appointments this week? I had my first one this morning. Based off a pelvic exam she thinks I'm around 10 weeks. Or there is two in there. Ultrasound on Friday to confirm actual date.

Any new symptoms or changes? the last two days I've had waves of nausea while eating. I have been CRAVING nachos in the worst way possible. I may need them for lunch.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Question! If my EDD does get changed and I'm pushed into May, will you all keep me or will I need to jump ship?

Not really. My symptoms are VERY mild at this point and, although I am fully aware that lack of symptoms AND lots of symptoms, actually do not mean anything, I am trying really hard to not assume it's a bad thing.

Haven't dressed up since college. It would be fun to do a family coordinated costume but eh, I never get my shit together in time to make it happen. I love taking the kids out trick or treating, though, because they have so much fun and love it so much!

How far along are you? 8 weeks exactly today

Upcoming appointments this week? had follow up u/s Monday......not sure results yet (was done at hospital. 1st u/s I had was for bleeding but i measured too early to see anything but gestational and yolk sac). hoping today or tomorrow to get results!!

Any new symptoms or changes? extreme fatigue and insomnia. if it's spicy, sweet or any type of dessert, I can't even look at it. obsessed now with white cheddar kd (was lactose intolerant before......thank you my lil raspberry!!). nauseous most days accompanied with extreme hunger (I luckily can eat through nausea as long as I'm not looking at the food when shovelling it in my mouth, but sometimes it's hard to eat with your eyes closed!!). I'm crying like a baby now over nothing.....like I walked in the room yesterday and looked at the tv (someone was crying in a movie) and I balled my eyes out for about 20 mins.

Rants/Raves/Questions? pretty nervous to get my results back from u/s. been waiting exactly 2 weeks now to know if pregnancys viable. hoping since I still have symptoms that's a good thing but still worried about it since I had a m/c early august.

GTKY: are you doing anything for Halloween this year? Do you like to dress up in costume or not so much? have my bat girl costume but don't think it'll fit after being do damn bloated. Already started decorating front yard and will be handing out stuff to kids.....bd making fun of me cause I like to get more than candy so I have a lot of options for kids. candy, chips, temp tattoos (avengers and frozen), different types of glow sticks, and pop (3 kinds). We live downtown in small city so get tons of kids living on outskirts of the city who come into town to go trick or treating. 2nd year in our home so I'm ready after last year.....felt horrible my massive box of candy, 10 pack of glow sticks, and case of pop ran out by 730pm. this year we started stocking up with stuff mid September

I love seeing all the kids in their adorable costumes on Halloween!!!! Its so much fun!

Any new symptoms or changes? I'm having some constipation now and I'm more nauseous in the mornings.

Rants/Raves/Questions? My DH and I went to see Evil Dead last night. He was really worried about me, "Can you see an intense movie like that right now?" I made so much fun of him cause I've seen it before and it's a movie. Well....I was wrong. It's an extremely gory movie and the fact that I had seen it before was the only thing that saved me from puking all over myself. I sucked on a preggie pop the whole way home. Seriously? Gory movies are a nausea trigger?!

GTKY: are you doing anything for Halloween this year? Do you like to dress up in costume or not so much? I love Halloween but I'm not really excited this year. The smell of candy is setting off my gag reflex so I'm not eating it (and I LOVE candy). I'm seeing Danny Elfman at the Hollywood Bowl on Saturday and going to see Nosferatu on Monday. Probably will dress up for the work party - my team wants to do monsters so maybe a vampire?

Any new symptoms or changes?
Nothing too new.... little more emotional perhaps. I've cried over things that I feel normally wouldn't bother me but I have no way of confirming if it's due to hormones. Neausa is still coming and going pretty good, I don't feel quite as bloated and the cramping has reduced compared to what it has been.

Like other ladies have said, I'm still so stoked to be here! DH and I are really excited for our first ultrasound next week.

GTKY: Ae you doing anything for Halloween this year? Do you like to dress up in costume or not so much?
DH has his birthday on the 29th, so I'm throwing him a surprise James Bond party since he will be turning 30! I've asked people to dress up in their favorite James Bond outfit but we'll see who actually ends up doing it ( am going as Ms. Moneypenny). Otherwise, I love dressing up for Halloween but I actually haven't given it much thought for this year. I should probably get on that.

Upcoming appointments this week? Not until December 5. That's my very first appointment so I'll have a better idea of due date then

Any new symptoms or changes? No, still lacking symptoms. Have been having crazy dreams though. I am a little constipated, range from no appetite to starving, and sometimes feel tired

Rants/Raves/Questions? Getting more and more anxious for that first appointment. I have an inner debate with myself every day about calling to ask to have it moved up earlier. We have a huge change in management in my department coming up soon and I want to tell work sooner rather than later. However I won't tell them before a first appointment.

GTKY: are you doing anything for Halloween this year? Do you like to dress up in costume or not so much? We never celebrate. We live in an incredibly rural area so no trick or treaters. My son is almost one so we will put him in his costume Sunday and parade him around to his grandparents.

Nothing new. I was given some new prenatals that seem to be helping with my morning nausea and fatigue but it still kicks in by the afternoon

Eta: the gas has been terrible the last two days. I want to run away from myself

Not doing anything this year. But I do enjoy dressing up and hanging out. Last year I was little red riding hood and my girlfriends and I went to he parade on the Village(NYC). I also dressed up as a Warriors cheerleader to walk around and trick or treat with my son who was Steph Curry :-)
