Re: Saturday Ticker Change 10/22 (5/6, 5/13, 5/20, 5/27)

  • Hi ladies, LMP gave me a due date of 5/27 but since I ovulated a few days late I gave myself the due date of 5/29.  However, my first ultrasound on Monday confirmed 5/27 so I guess I go here now!

    How far along are you?
    9 weeks today!

    How big is baby?
    A cherry

    Appointments this week?
Nope, but we had my first ultrasound on Monday which was very exciting - everything looked great!

    Symptoms?
Symptoms have really been declining for the past week/week and a half which is a bit scary.  I have had two really good days with almost no symptoms.  I wish I could really enjoy it instead of worrying.  With DS my symptoms were peaking around this time and didn't go away until 11.5 weeks.

Also, it didn't help that I went to the bathroom yesterday and when I wiped there was bright red blood.  There wasn't any on the panty liner I was wearing and I wasn't actively bleeding.  I called the doctor and they weren't concerned at all.  DH and I had sex early that morning and they said it was because of that and as long as I wasn't filling a heavy pad an hour not to worry.  I had some more brown blood on my panty liner yesterday evening and again this morning but very little so logically I know it is probably fine and just due to the sex.  But it's definitely not helping my anxiety.

    Rant/Rave/Questions?
Anyone else have declining symptoms at 9 weeks?

GTKY: What is one thing on your bucket list?
Oh man, so many things.  I've always had goals around travel so I'd say a big one is to visit all 7 continents.  I still need Antarctica, Asia, and Australia, but I've got time.

    How big is baby?
    Strawberry

    Appointments this week?
No appointments until second week in Nov.

    Symptoms?
My symptoms are nonexistent beyond being more tired than usual.

    Rant/Rave/Questions?
The six weeks between my ultrasound (which was done at 6 w 5 d) and my next appointment has been so hard, especially being a PGAL. I can't wait to hear their heartbeats again. I am such a worrier.

GTKY: What is one thing on your bucket list? Taking my family to Hawaii. I've been before, but I would love to take my family some day.

    Appointments this week?
    Not until 11/4

    Symptoms?
    Tiredness, headaches every day.

    Rant/Rave/Questions?
It's so hard to drink enough water! I know I feel better when I drink a few bottles of water but some days it's so hard!

GTKY: What is one thing on your bucket list?
I'd love to go to Rome one day and see all of the historical buildings.

@RainyDays86 My symptoms are all over the place. Some days are way better than others. Both my SIL said they both had things come and go as well. I wouldn't worry!
  • @Jenshoes I know and I appreciate it.  I feel like you and I have had this conversation before  and I totally know that you're right.  I just can't. stop. worrying.
  • @RainyDays86, I'm lurking on the Sat thread. :) I had declining symptoms at about 9 weeks too. My boobs were less tender and I had less nausea. I had an OB appointment at 9w3d and all looked good.

How big is baby? A tart kumquat? I don't know. I had to edit this because I still remembered pecan from last week. The baby is tiny in other words..

Appointments this week? Not until next week with genetics.

Symptoms? All day nausea. So much worse this time around.

Rant/Rave/Questions? I've been going to bed at 845pm the past couple nights and it's awesome ! My ds wakes up between 530am and 6am, and I've been able to get up without feeling terrible.

GTKY: What is one thing on your bucket list? Hmm I don't know?
  • How far along are you? 10 weeks

    How big is baby? Strawberry

Appointments this week? Not until nov after 12 weeks

Symtoms? So sick and so tired.

Rant/Rave/Questions? It's so hard to have an appetite when I'm constantly sick. Some days are good though and I can eat all day. So different from my first i was never sick.

GTKY: What is one thing on your bucket list?
We were going to get an rv and travel western US next year, now it's on hold another year!
  • I love all of the travel bucket-list ideas on this page.... especially Antarctica! That'd be amazing and I hope you make it someday.
  • This is for those of us with an EDD of: 05/06, 05/13, 05/20, & 05/27

How far along are you? 9 weeks

How big is baby? Southern pecan

Appointments this week? Was supposed to have one Tuesday but got rescheduled for the next Tuesday 11/1

Symptoms? Nauseous, tired, sore boobs. Have been taking meds to help with the morning sickness which has helped significantly and I'm now able to eat and keep things down

Rant/Rave/Questions? We are doing some remodeling and after 2 weeks I just want my house back. Have 2 more weeks until they are done. Looks great but I am home all day so it's just weird with someone always here.

GTKY: What is one thing on your bucket list? I want to go to France. See Paris and Versailles. Also go to Universals studios in Florida and check out Harry Potter world. Was supposed to go this November but now being pregnant traveling isn't much fun.

@jenshoes we just went to Italy last year and we stopped in Rome. It was AMAZING! I also really loved Florence and Venice is an experience one should have if you go. I want to go back (the food is unforgettable) and check out Milan and the Amalfi coast
  •  How far along are you? 12 weeks

How big is baby? Size of a toy soldier

Appointments this week? 12 week appt on Thursday.

Symptoms? Sore boobs still but the all day nauseous feelings have significantly dwindled...thank goodness!

Rant/Rave/Questions? I'm worried I will never feel "safe" with this pregnancy. I had 3 early miscarriages between my first kiddo and this pregnancy. Things are going great this time around but I feel like I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop and I hate that.
  • @SWE2 so jealous! Ironically, I've been to Paris twice and saw versallies. Now we need to switch! I think I might go with my mother to Rome, DH doesn't like to travel. But it is one of my life goals.

@m3ganmc I'm sorry you're going through that. I don't have any words of wisdom as this is my first pregnancy. FX for you that this pregnancy sticks.
  • How far along are you? I am 12 weeks :)

How big is baby? My baby is the size of a large plum.

Appointments this week? No, not until next Monday for an US.

Symptoms? My symptoms are still the same; breast tenderness and food aversions.

Rant/Rave/Questions? Hmmm, not as of yet

GTKY: What is one thing on your bucket list? SO & I have always wanted to visit New York! We plan on going after Thanksgiving! :)

  • @CarmCeG exciting that you get to cross that off your bucket list!
@CarmCeG : New York (I'm assuming City) during the holidays is really special. Stores will have their window displays, people will be ice skating, there will be twinkling lights and holiday music everywhere, and the hustle and bustle will be (believe it or not) less brusque, if that makes sense. All the stores and restaurants and yummy food, everything feels so much warmer and more inviting when coming in from the cold. So nice! Def bring your walking shoes! I think I might have to plan a trip now too...
  • How far along are you?
    9 weeks (on Saturday)

    How big is baby?
    The size of a cherry.

    Appointments this week?
    None this week!

    Symptoms?
Nausea still comes and goes, but when it's here, it's been stronger this week (still no throwing up, but a few instances of dry heaving, which is new). Boobs aren't sore anymore. And the insomnia. I cannot sleep at night anymore. I'm so tired and at my wits end.

    Rant/Rave/Questions?
I just want to sleep at night!!!

GTKY: What is one thing on your bucket list?
I also love traveling! I second wanting to go to the Harry Potter world! I've been to Europe (loved it, would go back anytime I could), and my next dream is to visit Japan! Although this talk of New York around the holidays makes me want to take that trip too!
  • @CarmCeG my hubby and I went last year. It was my first time and wow is it magical with everything decorated for the holidays. Check out Saks, it's like winter wonderland. I hope you have an amazing time. We went first weekend in December and it was really warm that we only needed sweaters so that was lucky.
  • @SWE2 Yes, I'm hoping to go around that time :)

    Thank you :D
