Intro - Hello

Hi my name is Alex. SO and I are in the early stages of going through IVF. We have our initial consultation booked for Friday 28th.

We have been TTC for 14 cycles/ 13 months. I was a very regular contributor on TTGP since my first cycle, up until a few months ago when I began to feel like most people were moving on without me. The idea of getting to know more new TTC people who may also leave me behind became too hard so I stopped participating on that board. I did make some amazing close friendships with people who I still regularly chat to including a few who are still, unfortunately, trying like me.

I have unexplained infertility and so both IUI and IVF are currently an option but after weighing up the pros and cons we feel more comfortable with IVF.

A little about us - I am 32 and SO is 28 and we live in London, UK. We have a fur baby cat names Jessie who is begrudgingly getting all of our attention at the moment.

I'm looking forward to getting to know you all, and hopefully learning a little more about what is about to happen next.

Welcome! Sorry you find yourself here, but glad to have you join the community! We've got unexplained IF as well and learned SOO much on these boards. We went through a couple of IUIs before moving on to IVF. Hope your consult goes well next week!
