Upcoming appointments this week? Nope, two weeks to go. They are creeping by too.

Any new symptoms or changes? I have to say I've felt pretty a-ok minus the gas that, no matter what I eat, never seems to lessen. But this morning the nauseous feeling started up. I'm not running to a garbage can or toilet or anything, but I don't feel great, that's for sure.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Went to the Baseball Hall of Fame with DH this weekend. Despite the gross weather getting there, it was so great. Definitely a memorable weekend us baseball lovers. Then he really wanted me to watch TWD (I'm not into it) and ended up apologizing to me because it was just so graphic. So, so graphic.

GTKY: If you celebrate Halloween, what is your favorite Halloween tradition? I'm not a big fall gal (I know, I know, everyone loves it) so I don't get all the thrills out of the season. But I will say carving pumpkins as a kid with my parents was always fun. My dad always had to do the traditional jack o latern with the triangle eyes. And then of course dressing up. I find reasons to dress up all year because that's just fun. My sister and I were boobs in bra a couple of years ago. We actually stole the costume from my parents who wore it first. Last year I was Richard Simmons, which was something I had wanted to do for years. Growing up my parents went all out making our costumes and letting us be whatever we wanted. My brother was bag of jelly beans, I was an alien, I was Miss Piggy, etc. I hope to carry that on.

More nausea the past few days, although feeling ok so far today.
Rants/Raves/Questions?
Still over a week until my first u/s ahhhhhhh! The wait is not fun. I actually like feeling nauseated because I think it's a good sign.
GTKY: If you celebrate Halloween, what is your favorite Halloween tradition?
Everything! I love this time of year. Halloween is my favorite holiday. I especially like trick or treating with DD now that she is old enough to go. I dress up too. This year we are both being black cats. A couple of years ago we were both witches. I also like to make special spooky themed food that day.

I have an "over the phone" nurses appointment on 11/3 and then my first prenatal appt (and Im hoping U/S) on 11/8. I swear, the wait from BFP to first U/S is worse than the 2WW when TTC....

Any new symptoms or changes? Not really. A little nervous actually because im not experiencing a ton of symptoms at all, aside from the exhaustion. I know that I should be thankful that i don't feel like death, but its hard not to feel anxious when you don't have the reassurance of MS.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I swear, the wait from BFP to first U/S is worse than the 2WW when TTC....I just wish so badly that there was a way for me to know that everything is okay RIGHT NOW. I'm, admittedly, 100% Type A and a bit of a control freak, so the fact that this is 100% out of my control drive me CRAZY. Also, DH is going away for over a week on a hunting trip and I can't say I'm thrilled about the timing since I am in prime time for feeling like garbage and having to take care of DS all alone for over a week sounds way too exhausting.

GTKY: If you celebrate Halloween, what is your favorite Halloween tradition? I do celebrate Halloween but I can't say it is one of my favorite holidays. However, I did always love having a reason to get together with friends/family and get out trick or treating and I look forward to now doing that with DS. He getting old enough now to actually care about traditions like these and have fun rather than just being more work haha.

@kdanjou I have hated the wait for my first u/s also! I just can’t wait to see the baby! I’m looking forward to trick-or-treating with my kids, too! And wearing family themed costumes!

@kscheich I agree, wait to u/s is waaay worse than TWW!

Upcoming appointments this week? U/S on Thursday!!

Any new symptoms or changes? No. I still don’t really feel well in the evening, and have sore breasts, and super tired, but nothing too major.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I am so excited it’s finally u/s week! Also, Thursday is my and DH’s anniversary, so seeing baby will be a nice anniversary present!

GTKY: If you celebrate Halloween, what is your favorite Halloween tradition? My neighborhood is a really popular trick-or-treating neighborhood, so all of my and DH’s friends and family that have kids come to our house to trick-or-treat our neighborhood. DH and I dress up in costumes, and while they are all trick-or-treating, DH and I pass out candy. Then, when they get done trick-or-treating, we have dinner made for everyone. It’s really fun! Plus, it’s the only holiday we get to “host” with DH’s family.

Upcoming appointments this week? Went this morning...going again next week.

Any new symptoms or changes? Spotting that started last weekend has been a continuing issue this week. Got another ultrasound this morning and saw more than last week but still not a whole lot there...but we are making slow progress. HCG levels were 1400 last week and we tested them again today...waiting for results.

other than that...really gassy and sore boobs but no morning sickness yet. Having some food cravings...nothing strange though.

Upcoming appointments this week? Dating ultrasound is today and all I can think about is how am I going to hold all that pee in before my appointment?!

Any new symptoms or changes? A bit more nausea.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Rave: DH, DD, and I took a lovely nap together yesterday. It's rare that we all get a nap at the same time so it was the perfect way to end the weekend.

GTKY: If you celebrate Halloween, what is your favorite Halloween tradition? Carving pumpkins! But the smell this year was not so much fun.

@berg Richard Simmons for the win! We had a Richard Simmons "Sweatin to the Oldies" VHS when were kids and there was this part where a bunch of people were eating unhealthy food in a cafeteria and it used to scare me haha - not sure why.

Any new symptoms or changes? Well I ended up in the ER this weekend because I thought I had vaginal bleeding turns out I already have hemriods!!! Other than that I have had low grade nausea and this morning I was coughing and thought I was going to throw up, sore boobs, headaches all the time, and am I the only one already ready for bed?

Rants/Raves/Questions? I am so lucky the have my DH as this weekend being in the ER I was freaking out and he was very comforting!

GTKY: If you celebrate Halloween, what is your favorite Halloween tradition? We love Halloween and have had the decorations up for weeks l! Everyone form my DH family is coming over to help hand out candy as my house gets hundreds of tricker treaters. The plan was to go out and party afterward before my BFP but I am now the DD lol!

Coming over from Thursday ticker change. Updated from my doctor appointment today...

How far along are you? 8 weeks

How big is baby? raspberry

Upcoming appointments this week? I had my 8 week appointment today. Heartbeat was strong and baby looks good. They scheduled my c-section for May 29th!

Any new symptoms or changes? Appetite is coming back but not in full force yet. Still no cravings. Pretty nauseous and tired.

Upcoming appointments this week? Nope....Bummed too! My Doctor could not get me until next week.......waiting "patiently"

Any new symptoms or changes? Morning sickness is an all day thing! Its miserable. Constipation and gas have already started too.....ugh!

Rants/Raves/Questions? RANT: I have 16 parent teacher conferences schedule this week 7 of which are tomorrow. Going to be at my school for a total of 11 hours tomorrow and I am not looking forward to it especially with this nausea!

GTKY: If you celebrate Halloween, what is your favorite Halloween tradition? I am not a huge fan of Halloween. I do like getting my daughter dressed up and taking her trick or treating. This year she's 2 1/2 and she really enjoying it

@Berg I saw a picture floating around facebook last night of this girl's parents dressed as a pickle (dill) and a female deer (doe). It made me think of your parents' boobs in a bra costume!

Upcoming appointments this week? Next Monday.

Any new symptoms or changes? Baby brain seems to be kicking in (at least that's what I'm calling it). Went to the grocery store yesterday and took a wrong turn on the way there and the way back. That's about it but It's still early so that could change any day. I had minimal symptoms with my first, so with any luck this one will be similar.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Kind of a rant...H is out of town until Thursday and not telling him is killing me. Today when I spoke to him he wouldn't shut up with questions about my next cycle, when we can try again etc. Lying to him was so hard, I was sure I would slip up but so far my secret is safe.

GTKY: If you celebrate Halloween, what is your favorite Halloween tradition? I don't love Halloween but I'm looking forward to having traditions with the kids. I want to take them to the pumpkin patch every year to pick their pumpkins.

Doc update- I had a rough and emotional day yesterday. My HCG went from 1400 last Tuesday to 2100 this past Monday and I was hoping to see more that that increase.

Still having spotting and unsure of what little peanut peanut is doing in there. We did see progress on the ultrasound and we did have an HCG increase so I'm hoping peanut is a fighter and we'll get through this together. Leaving my fingers and toes and everything crossed. Back for another HCG on Thursday and then another ultrasound on Monday (this time with an actual ultrasound tech...so maybe they will be able to see more than doc)

Any mom's out there with positive success stories after stuff like this would be good to hear.

Upcoming appointments this week? I have to get a referral for the OB since I just changed insurances.

Any new symptoms or changes? Nothing, I'm amazed and honestly kind of worried. With my last pregnancy I was throwing up several times a day every day. This time I'm just exhausted all the time.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Did I mention I hate insurance companies. Mainly TriCare right now.

GTKY: If you celebrate Halloween, what is your favorite Halloween tradition? Dressing up, seeing all the creative costumes people come up with! Honestly already dreading all the Harley Quinn's this year lol

Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm just ranty in general lately. I'm a first grade teacher and this week the kids are realllly pushing my nerves. I know it's me, but that doesn't really make it better.
