Maternity pics?

When is everyone planning on doing maternity pictures? I was thinking before Christmas, so we could use one for our card, but DH says to wait and do it before Valentine's since holiday time does get crazy. BTW I have a March 21st due date.

I wanted to do mine in the winter also. Haven't picked the month yet but I may do December because we will be out for break.

i would think before Christmas would be fine - check with your photographer for their availability. i will say though that the more pregnant you are, the better they seem to turn out IMO. If this is your first baby, you may not be showing a whole lot by December/late November, so that would be something to consider!

Not sure if we'll do this time around, but with DS I was due end of February and did them beginning of January. Winter is a fun time if you find a good day! The advice I have is to not wait too long, because then you'll be uncomfortable.

I'm doing mine the weekend after Thanksgiving so we can get Cheistmas Cards out. I'm due 3/13 and my photographer was not concerned. Yes, the bump is in its glory in February but wearing tight clothing will help. I think being after Thanksgiving will at least give me some extra fluff

I wore a bodyckn dress yesterday and it shows plenty of bump - enough so my belly was touched! Normal clothing and I still get asked if I want to sit at the bar when we go out to dinner. I'll be ~26weeks.

We're doing it the first week of December during our babymoon. I wanted winter pics and thought it would be cute to do it at the German Christmas Market at the resort we're staying at so we could use it for our Christmas cards. I booked it a month ago and photographers were already booked through December because of the holidays so I would jump on it if you want to do it before the new year. I'm also doing a mini shoot with my cousin (who is also pregnant) in the middle of January because I don't think my bump will be super big for the December shoot.

A due date buddy!!! I am a little worried about the bump being small, @Goodmorning12 that's a good point with the tight clothes, it definitely shows then!

I'm due 3/5 and we are going with the first weekend in December. I'll be 27 weeks then!

I'm not doing it this time around, but with my first I had them taken 6 weeks before my due date. I was very pregnant without being puffy/swollen. If you want a big belly, you may want to wait a little longer but id think you will be pregnant enough!

I'm not going to do specific maternity shots but we did do family pictures 2 weeks ago. I was just starting to bump out so i'm interested to see how that came across.
Even if you aren't huge, I like the idea of getting them done for christmas cards. Good use for the photo!

Was gonna this week but it's hot still in Texas. So am doing it 2 weeks from now.... hopefully I'll be able to not be too swollen....
