GTKY: What's your favorite Halloween candy/treat?

How far along are you? 6 weeks

Upcoming appointments this week? Nope, not until 11/3

Any new symptoms or changes? Starting to get kind of tired and a bit of insomnia, which are probably related, but otherwise just good old constipation and constant hunger.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I'll be pretty excited when I get to next Friday...I have a close friend that has had two ectopic pregnancies erupt on her (she lost both tubes and is on to IVF now), and they both ruptured around 6 weeks. I mean I know I have no reason to suspect that I have an ectopic right now, but when that has happened to someone close to you, it's basically all you can think about. The second one almost killed her, it was a whole thing.

GTKY: What's your favorite Halloween candy/treat? Usually Reese's PB cups, but for some reason I'm hating PB right now (which is insane since it's basically all I ate when pregnant with DD) so I don't know what is going on in my life. I don't really crave chocolate at all currently which is pretty bizarre for me. I did kind of want Sweet Tarts the other day though.

Upcoming appointments this week? Nope. Not until Nov 11

Any new symptoms or changes? I'm pretty tired most of the day. Could be from cutting back on caffeine. I'm very slightly nauseated. Eating just doesn't sound good most of the time. Other times I need all the food. Still have random aches and pains in my abdomen and back.

Rants/Raves/Questions? My friend, who is a nurse, and I argued about my due date and how many weeks I am last night! She said I'm only 3 weeks and not due until July 7. I told her all the info I've read says I'm 5 weeks and due June 23! I was like I know you're a nurse but you're not an OB nurse and I've read allllll the info on being pregnant! I'M RIGHT!!!

GTKY: What's your favorite Halloween candy/treat? LOVE reese's PB pumpkins. Also snickers and twix.

Upcoming appointments this week? First real midwife appointment with first ultrasound is 1 week from today!

Any new symptoms or changes? Nausea comes and goes (yesterday was awful, today is great). I didn't think my boobs were getting any bigger (I'm apparently oblivious to bra fit), but after trying to button a shirt yesterday it is apparent that they are.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Looking forward to my parents and brother visiting this weekend to celebrate birthdays and go to a haunted house (Terror Behind the Walls at Eastern State if anyone is in the Philly area and knows it). I did get the okay to do this from the ob/gyn office. Not looking forward to trying to hide pregnancy from them. It could be a challenge with the nausea. We don't want to tell anyone until after the ultrasound.

GTKY: What's your favorite Halloween candy/treat? It used to be anything that had chocolate + PB, but like @delujm0 PB is currently on the no list for me. Right now I'm enjoying the caramel apple lollipops that come out this time of year.

@alm52386 haha yeah your friend is definitely wrong...you'd be pretty unlikely to even get a BFP at 3 weeks, as you'd only be 7 days from ovulation...a lot of embryos haven't even implanted yet at that point. She's not an OB nurse, but I thought that would be common knowledge for a nurse of any kind...I guess not!

I guess she was told to count from ovulation date. which I am 3 weeks from my supposed ovulation date. But that's not how it's calculated!

How far along are you? 7 weeks!

How big is baby? TheBump app says baby is now the size of a blueberry which is funny because Ovia said baby was a blueberry for week 6. Ovia says baby is now the size of a raspberry. Babysizer says baby is the size of a Viagra.

Upcoming appointments this week? I have an ultrasound on Monday the 24th. If everything goes well I'll graduate from my RE to an OB.

Any new symptoms or changes? I'm definitely peeing more now. I've noticed that I wake up at least once a night to pee instead of being able to sleep through the night and pee in the morning. The waves of nausea seem to be getting a little more intense but still no vomiting which has been nice. And I've noticed that now if I don't eat when I get hungry my stomach isn't really upset but it's.... uncomfortable and I'll feel a bit more queasy. So I've taken to snacking a little more.

The pregnancy acne is real. My face is usually pretty clear and it may get a few pimples before I ovulate but in general my skin is pretty clear. I've has so much acne the past week though.

Otherwise pretty much everything is the same: still tired. My breasts are still really tender if I don't sleep in a bra. Still a little crampy when I overdo it cleaning or whatever. Still gassy and bloated.

Rants/Raves/Questions? My mother is coming to visit from out of state and will be staying a week. I'm just really not looking forward to it. I love her but she is so difficult. For those of you who have missed my TTGP rants on my mother: my mother is a narcissist. She is incredibly hard to deal with and everything is always about her. We've had a... complicated relationship. I'm just not looking forward to dealing with her drama all week.

GTKY: What's your favorite Halloween candy/treat? Oh this is a tough question! Maybe nerds? I love nerds. And pretty much anything chocolate is good in my book.

Rants/Raves/Questions? We are telling my parents today and I'm so anxious about it. I know my mom will make a comment about having a baby and a toddler, and I just don't want to hear it.

Any new symptoms or changes? Been having smalll waves of nausea, nothing unbearable. Enough to make me feel more pregnant so yay.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I hate having to wait for my US. I'm a nervous person normally, so waiting to make sure this LO is safe is driving me crazy.

None this week. My next appointment is on November 15 for NT scan
Any new symptoms or changes? No new symptoms just daily nausea, reflux, fatigue, sore boobs, and low libido with DH is hating.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I really hope the food aversions die down. I don't crave much but my stomach can only handle certain things and they seem to be all of the bad things that I shouldn't be consuming. Yikes.
GTKY: What's your favorite Halloween candy/treat? I'm with @ahutch428 on the hot tamales!

Any new symptoms or changes? Cystic acne, very deep, painful zits.

I'm glad you addressed this, @delujm0! My thought is a misunderstanding in communicating your LMP date, @alm52386? Maybe you told her your best-guess date of conception? I really hope, for your friend's sake (and the reputation of nursing), that you support your friend in not giving inaccurate information. Your baby's gestational age is based off of LMP date and/or US. Pretty cut and dry!

@NamelessAria Will be thinking about you on Monday and hoping for the best! Also, I can completely relate to the relationship with your mom. Mine is in her own world, and if she does anything kind for me it will be held over my head and I will be verbally reminded often. I love my mom too, but it's hard when having that relationship.
