How far along are you? 5 weeks today!

How big is baby? the size of an appleseed?

Upcoming appointments this week? Unfortunately, I have to wait it out until Nov. 16, I'll be 8 weeks 4 days. But on the upside I do get a u/s at that appt

Any new symptoms or changes? Nope, I've just been a bit emotional and breaking out. Yesterday I had a bit of nausea in the car while my husband and I were driving to lunch. I can't say for sure that's it was pregnancy related but I am a little excited for any symptoms to show since I feel pretty normal

Rants/Raves/Questions?
I spent my flight credit this morning on a trip to New Orleans between Christmas and New Years, I guess we'll call it a "baby moon". My last semester of grad school runs from January-April, so it was the only time we could break away without being too late in the pregnancy or having homework distractions. Obviously I won't be participating in the alcohol-related festivities but I'm still excited for all the amazing food and the history (and to be someplace a little warmer since we have pretty cold winters in MI). You can tell I have vacations on the brain per GTKY

Also I have 1 last clearblue weeks estimator test and I am nervous to take it. I have been researching betas and it looks like most people exceed the 2,000+ HCG level tomorrow (22 DPO), which is the threshold for the 3+ reading. I want to take it but I'm kind of nervous to see 2-3 and then feel anxiety for reasons that may not be anything to worry about at all.

GTKY: What is the best vacation you've ever taken?
Our honeymoon to St. Lucia and Barbados stands out- we went all out on the accommodations and it was a beautiful resort with snorkeling right off the beach.

GTKY: What is the best vacation you've ever taken? A three week trip to Ireland and France. And I'm getting ready to go to Alaska I'm a few weeks to see my bff!
