We we are packing today and leaving for Disneyland tomorrow! It's LO's 5th birthday next Saturday so we are celebrating that. I can't wait to watch the boys in excitement!
Lawn care this morning for us (I love raking when the leaves are all red and yellow), finished off with walnut cinnamon rolls. We'll probably have a lazy afternoon with the Hamilton documentary, and I think tomorrow I'll find some sort of fall activity to do with my grandparents (non-oven 'cooking' activities are usually the best). Maybe something like making rice krispie treats with fall sprinkles.
Flew out from SoCal to Massachusetts to visit my family. Yesterday was my godson's 10th bday, and tomorrow is his party. Tonight we are headed to a Portuguese feast near New Hampshire where i will see a lot of my Dad's family for the first time during pregnancy. Looking forward to it!!
My woman's club had a bonfire social last night. Now I'm going to sit on the couch for the rest of the weekend and scrapbook while watching Halloween movies! I'll also be shoveling food into my face.
Went to a dinner party last night, and stayed up till 1:30am. I was so proud of myself! Let myself sleep in today, and DH and I are meeting some friends for Turkish food tonight. Cannot wait!!
@dizzymom a bonfire sounds so lovely!! Wish there was a place here we could do that.
I was on call last night and ended up working until 11:30pm, so DH let me sleep in a bit. We are heading to the apple orchard now, then home for laundry, naps, and the Cubs game! Tomorrow we have my niece's birthday party, and then probably more laundry because it never ends!
Working both days as always... going out to dinner with DH tonight, then catching up on some homework for class after... Tomorrow when I get home from work we're gonna carve pumpkins & then I'll be doing more homework till I can't keep my eyes open anymore. Very excited about dinner & especially looking forward to carving my pumpkin - it's an annual tradition/competition for us haha
Father-in-law is visiting, which has DH on edge. DS had his soccer class this morning, then we got waffles. Not much else on the docket this weekend except a walk and starting a rug for the new baby.

There's this local place called Bill's Berry Farm where you can pick fruit during its season. Right now they have their apple and pumpkin festival going on every weekend, so we're going today to get a pumpkin and some golden delicious apples. They also have a bunch of kid activities that my little guy will love. It's the perfect fall day for it too! 60 degrees and sunny.
Just got back from a fall festival featuring a food item we produce as a side job to our regular full time jobs. People wanted to talk to us as the "farmers", and I love everyone's enthusiasm about what we produce and their interest in how we do it, but honestly it was exhausting! I was getting really winded talking so much. Plus saw a lot of people I haven't seen since being pregnant and I got some unwelcome belly touching! I left a little early as it started to wind down, I was getting so tired on my feet all day. DH can take it from here. It was good- but now I'm home on the couch and much happier!! Tomorrow I plan to do NOTHING!
It's been raining for 3 days straight so I've got nothing. Oh and I work weekends. Every weekend. BUT Monday/tuesdays are my weekend and we'll be heading to the pumpkin patch/farm then hopefully if the rain let's up a little. DD loves it.. so muddy and so many animals to see.
My oldest DS is starting highschool next year so we are in the process of at looking at different high schools so we will be attending open houses this weekend. DH bday is today so we celebrated a little with the kids hoping that we can sneak away to go to dinner tomorrow and celebrate just us two. In between all that need to squeeze in my second DS soccer game. Hoping the sun will shine tomorrow as it rained all day today.
Well I just went through all of DS baby clothes (slightly heartbreaking but no tears!) Our neighbor has a baby boy so we are giving them all of our hand me downs and in return we get all of their daughters hand me downs for our baby girl we're expecting. Other than that I'm trying to drag DH out to run errands tomorrow and possibly making bath bombs?
Drove up to visit my mom and brother. I had a cake made for them to cut to see the babys sex. I had all my nieces there and other brother on facetime so it was neat. The cake was cute and yummy. When I got here my mom had donuts for me. I'm in a sugar coma but it was worth it.
My Dh 20th high school reunion was the weekend so we came home. My husband and I taught in the same county he grew up in so we got to see the kids we taught, my son for to see his friends, and dh got to hang out with high school friends on Friday. Saturday they went out again to dinner. While a friend and I sat by ourselves in the same restaurant and laughed and talked for 4 hours.
Everyone has such cute weekend plans! I have to finish writing a dozen college recommendation letters for seniors and grading a stack of sophomore honors essays, so my weekend is less-than-fun. But my house is full of cinnamon smell thanks to the coffee cake I decided to bake (baby boy has me craving sweets like crazy), and DH put on "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!" in the background, and my dog is snuggled up next to me. So it's still a pretty nice morning.

My company had their annual expo this weekend so I worked both days. According to my FitBit my two day step total is just over 40K. Yikes! Needless to say, this pregnant lady is tired!
