To start us off...

I got a little bit behind on my Colace regimen and during a poo battle yesterday I thought how lovely a L&D bed would have been. With all those positioners and bars and grips that come out to help you get a good pushing position I really could have used it to help bear down and expel that miserable poo!

@emilyalso we have one! I think it occasionally can help but I'm not a super fan. We have one and I think honestly it's going to get more use as a step up for my toddler.

Oh man, I love our squatty potty. My FIL bought it for us after he suffered a prolapsed rectum from straining to poop. He's now a big believer in healthy poop habits

I've totally confiscated my DD's step stool for this sole reason. Pure bliss I tell you, I've never pooped so well in my life!!!

I used an actual squatty potty in Vietnam and Cambodia. They're disgusting.

We have them here in the Middle East and as long as they're clean I like them for pooping! I have contemplated removing an actual toilet to put in a real squat toilet. Nothing helps a poop along than actual squatting.

@jonesbaby0624 I'm guessing it was just dirty? Because I'm not thinking of any other way it can be disgusting

I've used one of those squatters on a ferry in Turkey. Im sure I wouldn't mind pooping. Peeing on the other hand was weird.

Constipation snuck up on me in the last few days so a squatty potty sounds like a great idea. I may try DD's step stool in the meantime. We considered buying one before when it first aired on shark tank but our bathroom was way too small. We have since moved and now have the space for once. I guess I will put it on the xmas list ha.

@sarah0985 the ones they had were basically an outhouse, which I find gross. I found it extremely awkward trying to balance myself over this hole, keeping my feet on the little platforms(can't think of a better word), all while being bombarded by the stench coming from underneath me.

I'm sorry if that offends you but I found them disgusting!

NBR but my 10 yo son is having such a bad asthma flare up and he was coughing so hard he puked in the floor last night. It was the grossiest puke ever. A pregnant woman trying to clean up that gross asthma puke was interesting.

You know whats a bad craving to have during pregnancy? Apples. I ate 2 large honeycrisps over the weekend, and while they were the most delicious thing ever, I paid for them yesterday. I don't think I've ever been so gassy and bloated in my whole life. Ughhh

Me too!! I hate the times of year I can't find them in the stores! They are so far beyond all the other kinds! I had a caramel apple today... I hope there's no extra gas headed my way! I could use some fiber effects though...

It never occured to me that apples wouod do that. I just had a cold fresh gala apple yesterday and loved every bite of it. Expecially when its thinly sliced. I had orginally set it up for DDs snack and realized I was eating way more than her that I had to cut up a second. Mmm

I had my Pap smear today... And then a vaginal ultrasound. The fluids coming out of me now are despicable.

On a side note, all this apple talk is really making want an apple for dinner. We bought some mutzu apples at an orchard a couple of weeks ago. I had never heard of them, but they are delicious.

@laurenann89 An apple for dinner sounds perfect today... thanks for the idea!... for extra loveliness, consider chunking it up with a small pat of butter substitute, brown sugar, raisins, and nuked for like 2-3 minutes...

I love apples! I'll have to try honeycrisp. I've been eating granny smith and gala like candy. They help me not puke.

My TMI: I just bought the ugliest new bra because I desperately needed one that fit and I didn't want to get anything that wasn't dirt cheap. Here's to growing out of it by next month!

Apples and peanut butter is heaven!!!

My TMI: My pittbull/lab mix has had the WORST gas for the last 2 days. That combined with my heightened sense of smell makes me want to vomit. What makes it even more horrible is that he likes to snuggle up in a ball right near my head in the bed while the husband is away. I'm half inclined to make him sleep in his kennel downstairs until the smelly gas issue goes away.

@jonesbaby0624 they're definitely not for everyone and that one sounds disgusting and unkept. If they're kept up like a normal toilet or bathroom (meaning regularly cleaned and it's a flushing one) they shouldn't be stinky. The ones we have (that I have used. There are some dirty ones like parks I won't) flush and are in a stall. So it's like a normal bathroom. Just different position.

I persknally dont don't like them for peeing. Trying to avoid any kind of splash is uncomfortable and annoying. I'd only want one literally for when pooping is difficult.

@NotAPlaya-JustCrushAlot just like when camping. Your feet are level on the ground and there's usually ridges or grooves to help from slipping.

Ugh. My dog like curling up by my head too, butt facing me! We always yell at him "butt down! butt down! You don't see us sleeping in bed upside down, do you?"

I know this is a day late, but I've been eating apples like crazy! I love gala and red delicious but will have to give yalls suggestions a try next time I'm at the store!
Havent noticed any excess bloat or gas from them.
