Rants/Raves/Questions? DS refuses to nap this week! Teething's a bitch! LOL

GTKY: What's the best part of second trimester for you so far? Besides the kicks, I think the fact that my belly has firmed up and doesn't have the odd little pudge anymore. I'm still waiting on the energy and all that
good stuff.

How far along are you? - 20 Weeks!

How big is baby? - Babies are the size of 2 Bananas or 2 paper airplanes (that one is just odd)

Upcoming appointments this week? If not, when is your next appointment? - Nothing this coming week. We had our anatomy scan on Monday. Baby girl is measuring 8 days behind baby boy so they are going to be monitoring her pretty closely. She also has a cyst on her brain but no other issues that they can see so they are hoping that it goes away on it's own. We have an appointment for the fetal echocardiograms and a growth scan on November 1st.

Any new symptoms or changes? - The movement is real now....so much fun! My sciatic nerve has been flaring up pretty bad this week so that has been interesting to deal with...

Rants/Raves/Questions? - I have to rave a little bit on my DH this week. He has been so supportive during this whole pregnancy but as I am getting bigger and more uncomfortable he is constantly offering to do things for me and remind me to take breaks when we are doing things (like moving....ugh...). He is also amazing at taking my bitchy hormonal moments in stride.

GTKY: What's the best part of second trimester for you so far? - The movement for sure. Going from little flutters that you *think* are baby to actual little kicks has been the coolest thing...

How far along are you? 18 weeks

How big is baby? Green pepper, or a slingshot?

Upcoming appointments this week? If not, when is your next appointment? Wednesday, just the usual prenatal. Still 2 weeks until the anatomy scan.

Any new symptoms or changes? Had my first BH contraction the other day. I'd forgotten what those feel like.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Nothing really?

GTKY: What's the best part of second trimester for you so far? The MS mostly being gone? Still waiting for that kick of energy. Generally getting over 8 hours of sleep a night and still feel like napping most of the day.

Still waiting on those darn migraines to go away, thinking of getting that daith headache piercing..

Ive been waiting to feel good in the second trimester but it's been pretty crappy. Good news is I can feel the baby! Such an odd but wonderful feeling!

How big is baby? Size of a "tall" drink from Starbucks or a Sugar Glider (fun story, I used to have 2 sugar gliders)

Upcoming appointments this week? If not, when is your next appointment? YES! FINALLY! I have my anatomy scan on Tuesday and will FINALLY find out the sex of this little one!!

Any new symptoms or changes? I feel movement every once in awhile but it's few and far between. I wish I could feel it more...

GTKY: What's the best part of second trimester for you so far? The anxiety that comes with being PGAL has dissipated a great deal which has been amazing for me. I still find myself feeling nervous/over-thinking things that I shouldn't, but the debilitating fear I had in first tri finally started to go away.

How far along are you? 19w3d (I'm a little late to the party this week!)

Upcoming appointments this week? If not, when is your next appointment? I'll be going in today for my first progesterone shot. Anatomy scan next Tuesday.

Any new symptoms or changes? BH contractions if I exert myself for a long time which is a little scary. Back to feeling dehydrated.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Rant: Getting everything in order for my progesterone shots was a nightmare! CVS is filling the prescription and completely lost my information twice! So I'm about two weeks behind where I should be with them. Rave: I love unsweetened iced tea so much right now.

GTKY: What's the best part of second trimester for you so far? Not feeling terrible is amazing! No sciatica, no feeling like I may fall asleep at the drop of the hat, no crazy rib pain...Life is good.

Upcoming appointments this week? If not, when is your next appointment? had one last friday with regular ob.. which is mainly for me. high risk for babies this coming friday

Any new symptoms or changes? seriously exhausted. and i can't walk too far. I'm a whole body swollen bear, and sometimes i get really really hungry

Rants/Raves/Questions? the disability insurance company made me cry today. my doc has been a little slow about getting my records to them and stuff. and then the guy on the phone called me and was like ... well ur letter didn't tell us why u are on bed rest.. so why? ... your job... all you do is sit all day right?!!... (he said it with an attitude like um?!! your just pregnant...) and i told him i don't know all the medical terms but basically my situation and the babies, and my swelling and i can't sit for long hours, and how my doc wants me to rest more so my babies can grow more even and not get a bigger date gap. he flat out said well when they get the records it is up to THEIR doctors whether or not ill be approved to be on bed rest (meaning that will qualify for disability). UM OK....and they need the official paperworks asap. I THOUGHT THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO HANDLE GETTING IN TOUCH WITH MY DOC?!!! i even called last week to ask them if they needed me to call my doc.. they said no. i then called my doc office nurse several times w/out leaving a VM and finally getting a hold of her. i felt bad bc she was like. u shoulda left me a vm so i can get back to u in between patients, and i shouldn't have called another dept to ask to find her ... i told her about what happen.. she said yah those disability insurance ppl bullies you and don't let them get to me .. and then i felt even more super bad..... and the nurse said the company NEVER REACHED OUT TO THEM. and they usually do a fax (they handle a lot of bed rests bc they are one of the top high risk docs in town)

GTKY: What's the best part of second trimester for you so far? being able to actually enjoy some food some times...
